The present paper rate the essential problems about raciality -in this case as cultural construction- in the cuban society at the ninety years. The various studies of traditional popular culture in Cuba have many precedents, dating from the late 19th century to the present. The development, over two decades, of the Atlas de los instrumentos de la música folclórico-popular de Cuba [Atlas of Cuban folk-popular music instruments] and the Atlas etnográfico de Cuba: cultura popular tradicional [Ethnographic atlas of Cuba: traditional popular culture], represent the coming of age of such studies in Cuba, not only because they are widely applicable in several levels of teaching and establish a multitude of contacts with Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe, but also because, for the first time, we have a national sampling of these popular expressions that revealed a wealth of cultural diversity. As in much of Latin America and the Caribbean, this experience called into question the disciplinary limitations of folklore and expanded the anthropological reach of culture. This article discusses and looks over qualifications as “Intangible Cultural Heritage” and/or “Intangible Heritage” by UNESCO. At the same time, this article evaluates and contrasts the significance of the living cultural heritage as a dynamic and interactive quality of valuable cultural processes rising from heritage

Introduction: Cuban National Health System lacks of a document to collect the results of emergency dental care for patients who come to the dentists on duty or are providing dentistry services outside their health area, as a result it is necessary to set out the procedures that are carried out in that circumstance. Objective: to propose a model of ambulatory clinical history in dental emergency that describes the procedures applied to each patient. Material and Methods: a review of the scientific literature was conducted in order to consult academic criteria of Cuban dentists, and the on hand clinical history models, to prepare an ambulatory clinical history in the form of a questionnaire to provide information regarding the assistance of patients who come to the dentist on duty or outside of their health area, it was carried out at Playa Community Teaching Polyclinic, with 18 dentists from Playa municipality. Results: the emergency ambulatory clinical history model was used in the assistance of 76 patients, with full satisfaction for the professionals who assisted them while on duty. Discussion: the dentists who made use of the ambulatory clinical record stated it is easy to fill and collect all of the elements to provide the follow up of patients needing dentistry care. Conclusions: with the use of ambulatory clinical records the follow up of patients needing dentistry care and previously treated as an emergency is guaranteed, in addition to, the dentist is well-informed of the procedures applied and the materials used, operative times are saved, consequently a greater quality in the dental care of patients is achieved

LQG control for dynamic positioning of floating caissons based on the Kalman filter

This paper presents the application of an linear quadratic gaussian (LQG) control strategy for concrete caisson deployment for marine structures. Currently these maneuvers are carried out manually with the risk that this entails. Control systems for these operations with classical regulators have begun to be implemented. They try to reduce risks, but they still need to be optimized due to the complexity of the dynamics involved during the sinking process and the contact with the sea bed. A linear approximation of the dynamic model of the caisson is obtained and an LQG control strategy is implemented based on the Kalman filter (KF). The results of the proposed LQG control strategy are compared to the ones given by a classic controller. It is noted that the proposed system is positioned with greater precision and accuracy, as shown in the different simulations and in the Monte Carlo study. Furthermore, the control efforts are less than with classical regulators. For all the reasons cited above, it is concluded that there is a clear improvement in performance with the control system proposed. The Spanish FEDER/Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities—State Research Agency is greatly acknowledged for partially funding our research through the SAFE Project (Desarrollo de un Sistema Autónomo para el Fondeo de Estructuras para Obras Marítimas), GrantAgreement: RTC-2017-6603-4. Dynamic positioning of floating caissons based on the UKF filter under external perturbances induced by waves

This paper presents a dynamic positioning control scheme for concrete caissons in an attempt to automate part of the manoeuvres which usually require a complex deploy of personnel and equipment for port infrastructures development. The aim of this paper is to propose a control scheme, which is able to provide a reduction in costs and an improvement in security for the dynamic positioning manoeuvres . To do so, a dual loop controller is developed and the unscented Kalman filter is applied for states and perturbances estimation. Furthermore, a control allocation algorithm is proposed based on anchoring lines and winches. Finally, some simulations are performed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach. The Spanish FEDER/Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities — State Research Agency (Fig. 14) is greatly acknowledged for funding our research through SAFE Project (Desarrollo de un Sistema Autónomo para el Fondeo de Estructuras para Obras Marítimas), Grant Agreement: RTC-2017-6603-4.
