Czech Labor Market Flows 1993-2003 (in English)

This paper focuses on structural changes in employment in absolute and relative terms, using Czech labor force survey data. Gross flows, job-to-job flows, and industry flows are investigated to delineate the major movements on the Czech labor market. The overall analysis of mobility flows throughout 1993-2003 shows an increasing structural stagnation and diminishing labor market flexibility. The decisive mobility channel has been a direct job change without an episode of unemployment, but even this kind of mobility flow tends to diminish over time. Determinants of Managerial Pay in the Czech Republic

The purpose of this paper is to examine the determinants of the variation in Czech managers' pay levels. Among the questions we attempt to answer are: Are the managers in state-owned firms compensated differently than those in private owned firms? How much of the difference in pay is explained by differences in individual characteristics and job levels? What is the importance of the regional location or the industry affiliation of the firms for managerial pay differentials? Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na rozvoj obchodních aktivit firmy ARTOSS realitní kancelář, s.r.o. Práce je rozdělena na čtyři hlavní části. První část popisuje danou problematiku a definuje hlavní a vedlejší cíle práce. Druhá část je zaměřena na teoretická východiska, a to zejména na metody a postupy, hlavní pojmy a nástroje obchodní činnosti. Na teoretický základ navazuje třetí část práce, která analyzuje současný stav společnosti a její okolí. Poslední část práce poté představuje vlastní návrhy rozvoje obchodních aktivit firmy.This graduation thesis focuses in development of business activities of company ARTOSS realitní kancelář, s.r.o. Thesis is developed in four main parts. The first part describes the given problematics and defines main and minor objectives. The second part is focused in theoretical resources, especially methods and procedures, main concepts and business activity tools. After theoretical base there is the third part of thesis, which analyzes current state of society and it's environment. The last part represents own suggestions of the company's business activity development.

The calculation and measurement of the natural frequencies of the bucket wheel excavator schrs 1320/4X30

Natural frequencies and shapes are the basic dynamic properties of each structure. On the basis of their knowledge, the sensitivity of the structure to a dynamic load could be estimated. While designing, natural frequencies are based on calculations and numerical simulations. However, computational numerical models do not exactly correspond with real structures and there are many details which have to be simplified. It means that the real natural frequencies of structures may differ from the calculated ones. It is advantageous to verify the calculated results by suitable experimental measurements in case of structures where a dynamic load dominates. The paper deals with the experimental measuring of the natural frequencies of the bucket wheel excavator SchRs 1320/4x30 and a comparison of results obtained from experimental measurements and detailed numerical simulation applying ANSYS. Perkolační kolonové testy a studium vyluhovatelnosti kontaminantů z minerálních odpadů: teorie a experiment na metalurgické strusce

Leaching represents an essential concept related to the natural processes that occur at the contact between solids and solutions. The leaching properties of mineral wastes point to the mobility of contained contaminants in various scenarios and, thus, the environmental risk of the wastes. Experimental tools have been developed to determine the leachability over a range of conditions and to be a part of the waste evaluation workflow. Special emphasis is given to the dynamic column leaching tests that approximate percolation occurring in the field and enable to describe the time dependence of leaching. Processes that are observed in full-scale systems may substantially differ from those in the laboratory simulations. Apart from the field experiments and geochemical modelling, also modifying the original leaching test protocols expands our awareness of the mineral waste behaviour. We performed a column leaching test. Secondary Pb metallurgical slag coming from the Pb-scrap recycling was leached according to the standardised column leaching test EN 14405 as a part of broader research on the leachability of slag exposed to the wetting-drying cycles. The cumulative leached mass of both metal and major elements was lower compared to the previous turn; bulk leached masses of the main contaminants related...Loužení je základním konceptem v rámci přírodních procesů odehrávajících se na styku pevných látek a vody. Loužicí vlastnosti minerálních odpadů poukazují na mobilitu v nich obsažených kontaminantů při různých scénářích, a tedy na míru jejich nebezpečnosti pro životní prostředí. Byly vyvinuty experimentální nástroje k určení vyluhovatelnosti odpadového materiálu, které slouží jako jeden ze vstupů při klasifikaci odpadů dle nebezpečnosti. Zvláštní důraz je kladen na dynamické kolonové loužicí testy, které nejvěrněji simulují perkolaci, jakožto přirozený loužicí proces v terénních podmínkách, a které umožňují popsat závislost vyluhování na čase. Procesy pozorované v terénu se mohou podstatně lišit od procesů v laboratorních simulacích. Tyto simulace je žádoucí doplnit daty z terénních experimentů a geochemického modelování či modifikovat původní protokoly loužicích testů. Jako součást práce byl proveden kolonový test podle normy EN 14405 na sekundární Pb metalurgické strusce pocházející z recyklace olověných akumulátorů. Jednalo se o další v řadě experimentů v rámci déle trvajícího výzkumu vyluhovatelnosti této strusky v případě tzv. wetting-drying cycles. Impact analysis of location on the market value of houses in Brno and the surroundings

Diplomová práce se zabývá oceněním pěti rodinných domů v lokalitě Brno a okolí. Teoretická část práce definuje metody oceňování a základní pojmy spojené s problematikou oceňování. V praktické části bylo provedeno ocenění rodinných domů pomocí metod – nákladovou, porovnávací metodou dle cenového předpisu a přímého porovnání. Na základě těchto výsledků byla stanovena cena obvyklá. Na základě zjištěných cen byla provedena analýza vlivu lokality na obvyklou cenu posuzovaných nemovitostí.This Thesis examines the valuation of five family houses in Brno and neighbouring areas. The theoretical part of the paper defines a number of approaches to real estate valuation as well as some key terms and concepts linked to it. The applied part focuses on valuation of the aforementioned family houses by using a range of methods; Cost, comparative and direct comparison. Based on these results a usual price is then set. Based on the estimates of respective prices an analysis of the effect of area on the usual price of a property was conducted.
