Study was planned to preventively deal with sleep disturbances which are waiting to become public health problem. As much as 30% individuals among apparently healthy individuals in India suffer from occasional insomnia. Ayurveda classics offered a solution by use of Pratimarsha Nasya as daily regimen to improve sleep quality. Anu taila is best used for Nasya Karma, so was chosen as medicine for this clinical observational study. Material and methods- 28 subjects were selected randomly and every evening two drops Anu taila in each nostril was administered for 3 months. Result- Significant improvement was found on PSQI, ESS sleepiness scale as well as self developed Sukhnidra Sukhprabodham scale. For self developed sleep quality assessment scale, null scores were present in the enrolled subjects with Baseline mean + SD 0.00 + 0.00 and gradual increase across subsequent intervals. Mean + SD after Trial is 14.54 +1.97. So subjects showed significant response to Pratimarsha nasya with p value <0.0001 and Z value 4.647. Conclusion- Overall sleep quality is more improved after administration of pratimarsha nasya, different components of sleep quality considered viz. getting to sleep, quality of sleep, awake following sleep, behaviour following wakening all are positively changed. Pratimarsha nasya has such a vast positive effect on physiology of sleep that it deserves to be incorporated in daily regimen and can be called as “two drops for well-being of Urdhvajatru”

Transformation of Images Using Wavelet Transform For Image Watermarking of Text in Binary Images

DWT and DCT compress the image and generates a decomposed image use of those decomposed band has been demonstrated in this paper of watermarking. Image watermarking is important for transmition of secret data over communication channel.DWT ensures the security, however text hiding is slightly different and uses the transformation the other way round and hence enhances the complexity and also the dissolving capacity of the cover image as now the text data range gets equivalent to the image data range hence it gets settle down easily, on the other hand the secrete image still uses the dwt technique to get its range altered and hence the images gets settled down easily without revealing any information

Investigation of Electron Scattering from Vinyl Ether and Its Isomers

    No full text
This article reports a comprehensive theoretical study of electron scattering from vinyl ether and its isomers. The electron–molecule quantum collision problem is solved through a complex optical potential approach. From the solution of the Schrödinger equation corresponding to this scattering problem, various cross sections were obtained for energies from ionization threshold of target to 5 keV. To deal with the non-spherical and complex structure, a multi-center group additivity approach is used. Furthermore, geometrical screening correction is applied to compensate for the overestimation of results due to electron charge density overlap. We found an interesting correlation between maximum ionization cross section with polarizability and ionization energy of the target molecule. The fitting of the total cross section as a function of the incident electron energy is reported in this article. The correlation between the effective diameter of the target and the projectile wavelength at maximum ionization energy is also reported for vinyl ether and its isomers. The data presented here will be useful to biomedical field, mass spectrometry, and chemical database for military range applications. The cross sections are also important to model Mars’s atmosphere due to their presence in its atmosphere. The gas-kinetic radius and the van der Waals coefficients are estimated from the electron-impact total scattering cross sections. In addition, the current study predicts the presence of isomeric effects in the cross section
