Canonistica e teologia: problemi circa il riferimento metodologico a von Balthasar

    Get PDF
In the recent years, we have witnessed in the field of canonical science an unexpected attribution of methodological reference to the theologian Hans Urs von Balthasar, on the part of authors who have believed that elements not only hermeneutical but also methodological can be extracted from his philosophical-theological reflection. In the present study, two «recent» works are analysed which permit to capture efficiently what does it entail a gullible methodological reference to Disciplines whose connections with the canonical science have not been formalized sufficiently. It concerns above all the reference of the canonists to systematic theology (intellectus fidei -what the diverse theologians think-)..

Theology and Canon law: initial clarifications on the basis of the "Law"

Is there continuity between the "Law" of the Old Testament (the Tôrâ) and the Canon Law itself? The subject expressly concerns -and puts to the test- the “quality” of the Theology of Canon Law (before Moral) and can find unambiguous or ideological support and direction in the reflection about “ritual purity”, which was key to Jewish observance, openly questioned by Jesus himself and the apostolic Church (Luke and Paul) and not transposed in the first four centuries of the Church, after the decision of the Acts 15 on non-circumcision. On the other hand: since Canon Law regulates only the life in the Community of Christ’s disciples, the Jewish rules (that regulate the life of the People of Israel) have no relevance in it. The analysis of the repetitions of "Law" in the Gospels, together with some key concepts of the New Testament (= new, shadow-reality, plenitude, fulfillment) leave no room for doubt in this regard.Ciencias ReligiosasDerech

Onset and Offset as Determinants of the Simon Effect

We investigated the presence and the characteristics of the Simon effect for onset and offset targets when these stimuli are randomly intermixed. In Experiment 1, two possible target locations were occupied by an occluder. On onset trials, a target appeared above an occluder, while on offset trials one of the occluders disappeared, revealing the target underneath. In Experiment 2, four stimuli appeared randomly in six possible locations. On onset trials, a new stimulus appeared in an empty location while on offset trials, one of the initial stimuli disappeared. In both experiments, the Simon effect for onset and offset targets was characterized by similar size, time course and sequential modulation, suggesting similar sensorimotor interactions between target and response locations. However, the Simon effect in the current trials was more evident when the same type of target (onset or offset) was repeated on successive trials demonstrating the role of stimulus category in its modulation

Tool use modulates early stages of visuo-tactile integration in far space:Evidence from event-related potentials

The neural representation of multisensory space near the body is modulated by the active use of long tools in non-human primates. Here, we investigated whether the electrophysiological correlates of visuo-tactile integration in near and far space were modulated by active tool use in healthy humans. Participants responded to a tactile target delivered to one hand while an irrelevant visual stimulus was presented ipsilaterally in near or far space. This crossmodal task was performed after the use of either short or long tools. Crucially, the P100 components elicited by visuo-tactile stimuli was enhanced on far as compared to near space trials after the use of long tools, while no such difference was present after short tool use. Thus, we found increased neural responses in brain areas encoding tactile stimuli to the body when visual stimuli were presented close to the tip of the tool after long tool use. This increased visuo-tactile integration on far space trials following the use of long tools might indicate a transient remapping of multisensory space. We speculate that performing voluntary actions with long tools strengthens the representation of sensory information arising within portions of space (i.e. the hand and the tip of the tool) that are most functionally relevant to one's behavioural goals

Social Housing Policies and Best Practice Review for Retrofit Action - Case Studies from Parma (IT)

The paper aims at investigating the most suitable Energy Saving Measures –ESMs– for the retrofitting of Social Housing Stock –SHS– in Europe. A global awareness has been increasing, as well as education and training among architects and building sectors employees, in order to identify tailored financing schemes and advanced integrated retrofitting solutions. Several European financed programmes have been tested so far and the results are here summarized and deeply investigated in order to increase the energy performance of social housing buildings, to improve knowledge of problems associated with the retrofitting of these households, in order to provide the most appropriate solutions to be applied. Afterward, the best practices selected have been applied to some study cases in Italy, to demonstrate that the large variety of SH programmes in Europe can seriously be used, promoting the best practises’ application. A lot of theoretical and analytical work has been carried out by many European projects in the last decade, defining different approaches according to typologies of social housing buildings, focusing on national or regional regulation, on existing typologies and building techniques, on retrofitting solutions, on energy saving strategies and other managing approaches and energy saving devices. Due to the high participation of social housing organisations –SHO– and related European financed programmes, this academic research is focused on the most effective ESMs in order to encompass a large variety of needs and related solutions, even though some of them are still on course and other ones have already been completed. This research clearly demonstrates the valuable contribution these kinds of programme have in exchanging and sharing of knowledge and experience in the field of retrofit of Social Housing building across Europe, in order to primary improve the energy performance of the existing building stock and the quality of life of their inhabitants
