    Randall-Sundrum brane cosmology: modification of late-time cosmic dynamics by exotic matter

    In this paper we show, through the study of concrete examples, that, depending on the cosmic dynamics of the energy density of matter degrees of freedom living in the brane, Randall-Sundrum (RS) brane effects can be important not only at short distances (UV regime), but also at large cosmological scales (IR regime). Our first example relies on the study, by means of the dynamical systems tools, of a toy model based in a non-linear electrodynamics (NLED) Lagrangian. Then we show that other, less elaborated models, such as the inclusion of a scalar phantom field, and of a tachyon phantom field -- trapped in the brane -- produce similar results. The form of the RS correction seems to convert what would have been future attractors in general relativity into saddle points. The above "mixing of scales" effect is distinctive only of theories that modify the right-hand-side (matter part) of the Friedmann equation, so that, for instance, DGP-brane models do not show this feature.Comment: Latex, 12 pages, 9 eps figures.     We present a model for an inhomogeneous and anisotropic early universe filled with a nonlinear electromagnetic field of Born-Infeld (BI) type. The effects of the BI field are compared with the linear case (Maxwell). Since the curvature invaria nts are well behaved then we conjecture that our model does not present an initial big bang singularity.     La presión arterial (PA) es la fuerza ejercida por la sangre sobre cualquier área de la pared vascular y desde un punto hemodinámico como el producto del volumen sanguíneo contenido en el sistema arterial por la resistencia vascular, es vital ya que es necesaria para aportar oxígeno y nutrientes a los órganos del cuerpo, en la medicina humana la (PA) es fundamental para el diagnóstico correcto de algunas patologías, siendo uno de los principales procesos rutinarios en clínica, en cuanto a la medicina veterinaria y al diagnóstico de los pacientes no es un proceso que se realice con frecuencia en los gatos medir la (PA) que debe estar bajo parámetros normales de 124/84mmHg en caso de alteración en los parámetros normales sirve como determinante para el diagnóstico precoz de algunas enfermedades como lo son la hipertensión y la insuficiencia renal crónica en el peor de los casos. La recopilación de los métodos de medición de la (PA) en gatos es esencial para tener un conocimiento actualizado y un fácil acceso a toda la información necesaria que permita al clínico tener un diagnóstico, seguido de un tratamiento, así como realizar programas rutinarios de control de la (PA) en la clínica veterinaria, para evitar complicaciones de los pacientes felinos y que sirva como apoyo de diagnóstico de fácil acceso para los médicos veterinarios

    Exotic dynamically generated baryons with C==-1

    We follow a model based on the SU(8) symmetry for the interaction of mesons with baryons. The model treats on an equal footing the pseudo-scalars and the vector mesons, as required by heavy quark symmetry. The T-matrix calculated within an unitary scheme in coupled channels has poles which are interpreted as baryonic resonances.Comment: 5 pages.
