Se aportan documentos sobre la construcción de unas andas de plata para la patrona de Écija, la Virgen del Valle, que fueron realizadas en Córdoba en 1634 por el platero Gonzalo de Alcántara, y desmanteladas en 1772 para crear un gran retablo o “carro triunfal” sobre el que venerar a la imagen.Documents are provided about the construction of a silver processional throne for Écija´s Patroness, the Virgen del Valle, built in Córdoba in 1634 by the silversmith Gonzalo de Alcántara, and was dismantled in 1772 in order to create a large altarpiece or carro triunfal (triumphal chariot) on which worship to the image

Riesz bases associated with regular representations of semidirect product groups

This work is devoted to the study of Bessel and Riesz systems of the type Lγ f γ ∈ obtained from the action of the left regular representation Lγ of a discrete non abelian group which is a semidirect product, on a function f ∈ 2(). The main features about these systems can be conveniently studied by means of a simple matrix-valued function F(ξ ). These systems allow to derive sampling results in principal -invariant spaces, i.e., spaces obtained from the action of the group on a element of a Hilbert space. Since the systems Lγ f γ ∈ are closely related to convolution operators, a connection with C∗-algebras is also established.This work has been supported by the grant MTM2017-84098-P from the Spanish Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad (MINECO)

El navío de plata de la Virgen del Rocío

El ambicioso programa de investigación del proyecto Andalucía Barroca 2007 ha implicado la restauración y preservación de gran parte del Patrimonio Artístico Andaluz de este periodo. Una de las restauraciones llevadas a cabo ha sido el barco de plata conservado en el santuario de Nuestra Señora del Rocío de Almonte. Tradicionalmente se había atribuido al orfebre francés del siglo XVII Claude Ballin, aunque, tras la restauración se ha comprobado que realmente se trataba de una obra de principios del siglo XX, realizada en el taller de platería de Ludwig Neresheimer en Hanau, Alemania

Mexican Situation

In México over 23 million people cannot afford the basket of basic goods; the wealthiest 1% of the population gets 21% of the nation’s total income. We are the country of the OECD, in which salaried workers work more hours per year, while the lowest wages are paid. Corruption is the second most important problem at the country (70%), right after insecurity (80.9%). The military presence is part of Mexico's new normality. Impunity has been the cause of the increase of all types of crimes, especially the most violent ones, only around 1 to 2 per cent of crimes, including homicides, currently lead to conviction in México. There have been more than 94,000 homicides (intentional and non-intentional) since the current administration took office from 2013, through September 2015, and the prevalence of the practice of torture and disappearances are generalized. The numbers on the discovery of clandestine graves realize a general scenario of high decomposition. 3,892 women were victims of murder by virtue of their gender only between January 2012 and December 2013. In 2013, the Federal Government received 176 recommendations at the second cycle of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of the UN Human Rights Council. Megaprojects affect health, feeding and security of people while the harassment of national and transnational companies supported by the government appropriate the natural resources and energy, with the lowest cost and the highest profit. Water has been privatized and commercialized in multiple ways and situations. The main source of air pollution are vehicles and industry emissions that are being thrown into the atmosphere without any or not sufficient control. Diagnóstico y tratamiento de los pacientes ingresados con hipocalemia al servicio de medicina interna del hospital Escuela Antonio Lenin Fonsca durante el epriodo Enero del 2011 a Noviembre del 2012

La presente investigación nos permitió conocer las características clínicas,diagnóstico y tratamiento recibido, así como también identificar los factores desencadenantes de hipocalemia en los pacientes ingresados al servicio de Medicina Interna del Hospital Antonio Lenin Fonseca en el período comprendido de Enero del 2011 a Noviembre del 2012.Es un estudio descriptivo, serie de casos, cuyo universo estuvo conformado por 130 pacientes. Entre los resultados se encontró que el sexo predominante fue el masculino en 72.30%, y en el grupo etario mayor de 50 años Presentando hipocalemia severa en un 30.76%. Los factores asociados a la hipocalemia que encontramos fueron las perdidas digestivas en 36.92%, el uso de diuréticos de ASA en 12.30% y un 41.54% no se preciso la causa. Las manifestaciones clínicas que presentaron los pacientes fueron las manifestaciones musculo esqueléticas en un 60% seguida de las gastrointestinales en un 30.76%. Al ingresar el paciente con hipocalemia no se calcula el déficit de potasio en un 87.69% para una adecuada corrección lo que se traduce en un mayor número de días estancia intrahospitalaria. No se logra estudiar al paciente con hipocalemia según algoritmo de la sala de nefrología. Una vez que se estableció el diagnóstico fueron pocos los pacientes que se valoraron por nefrología
