Reformas en la enseñanza de las matemáticas escolares: perspectivas para su desarrollo

En este artículo se expone la posición que la escuela mexicana de la educación matemática ha venido difundiendo en diversos espacios de comunicación de la comunidad latinoamericana de esta disciplina. A manera de contextualización de dicha propuesta, se presenta una visión de los movimientos de la Reforma y la Contrarreforma en la educación matemática en el mundo. Se reflexiona sobre las repercusiones de éstos en los países latinoamericanos y se presenta explícitamente el aporte mexicano frente a ellos. En el caso específico de la educación matemática en Colombia, se anota que es indispensable que los involucrados en la enseñanza y aprendizaje de las matemáticas asuman un compromiso con el cambio de las prácticas educativas de acuerdo con las necesidades de estos tiempos

Publicidade digital, storytelling e transmedia narrativa: educomunicação do consumidor

The present text tries to analyze the relationships between the concept of digital storytelling applied to advertising starting from the base of the transmedia narrative. This is: how the new transmediatic narrative helps the construction of advertising discourses based on the notion of storytelling and how it establishes the bases for an educommunication of the consumer, the spectator and / or the target.El presente texto trata de analizar las relaciones entre el concepto de storytelling digital aplicado a la publicidad partiendo de la base de la narrativa transmedia. A microscopy technique based on bio-impedance sensors

It is proposed a microscopy for cell culture applications based on impedance sensors. The imagined signals are measured with the Electrical Cell-Substrate Spectroscopy (ECIS) technique, by identifying the cell area. The proposed microscopy allows real-time monitoring inside the incubator, reducing the contamination risk by human manipulation. It requires specific circuits for impedance measurements, a two-dimensional sensor array (pixels), and employing electrical models to decode efficiently the measured signals. Analogue Hardware Description Language (AHDL) circuits for cell-microelectrode enables the use of geometrical and technological data into the system design flow. A study case with 8x8 sensor array is reported, illustrating the evolution and power of the proposed image acquisition.Junta de Andalucía P0-TIC-538

Por una lectura sociocomunicativa de las transiciones políticas a la democracia «…porque la comunicación es de lo que trata la democracia»

Con el propósito de mitigar el silencio dominante en la mayoría de los estudios sobre los distintos grados y modos de participación de la sociedad civil en los procesos de tránsito político, este texto se propone afrontar la necesidad de investigar, incluso de convertir en objeto central de análisis, el modo en que se transforma la idea de lo político en las sociedades postindustriales, cómo se genera una nueva cultura política -lenguaje que, al fin, configura la condición ciudadana, fundamenta su identidad gregaria y condiciona sus estrategias discursivas-, cómo surgen nuevos espacios políticos y se produce la ruptura con las pautas y comportamientos políticos tradicionales. A este respecto, sigue siendo necesario constatar la participación de los medios en la dinámica transformadora de la cultura política favoreciendo el desacuerdo, haciendo posible la revisión de argumentos y la alteración de las normas sociales, creando, de este modo, un clima social favorable a la modernización cultural y a la democratización de la sociedad y las instituciones.The majority of studies on the degree and manner of participation of civil society in the processes of political transition are silent on the way in which the idea of the political is transformed in post-industrial societies, on how a new political culture is generated (language that, after all, forms the civic condition, supports its gregarious identity and determines its discursive strategies), on how new political spaces arise and on how the break with rules and traditional political behaviour occur. We propose to meet this need for investigation and even turn it into the central object of analysis. In this regard, we must still affirm the need for the participation of the media in the transformational dynamics of the political culture, by promoting different viewpoints, presenting different arguments and altering the social procedure and thus creating a favourable social climate for the cultural modernization and democratization of the society and its institutions

Mujeres sin libertad: una perspectiva enfermera

Trabajo fin de grado en EnfermeríaINTRODUCCIÓN: Las mujeres presas, pese a que su prevalencia está en aumento, suelen llevar su condena en centros compartidos con hombres, lo que conlleva, una serie de desigualdades. Estas se acentúan cuando se habla en términos de salud, por ello es reseñable destacar la importancia de la figura enfermera en los distintos tipos de centros de reclusión. OBJETIVO: Destacar la importancia de la presencia de enfermeras en las instituciones penitenciarias femeninas, para revalorizar su actuación y mejorar la situación de las mujeres desde el ámbito del cuidado. METODOLOGÍA: Se realizó una revisión narrativa llevando a cabo búsquedas en las bases de datos de ciencias de la salud: Cochrane, Scielo, Pubmed y Dialnet, y en la revista científica Sanidad Penitenciaria. RESULTADOS: Se obtuvieron 18 artículos cuyo análisis se dividió en los 3 diferentes tipos de centros de reclusión femenina: régimen ordinario, centro de inserción social y unidades de madres. CONCLUSIONES: Las mujeres carentes de libertad continúa siendo una minoría olvidada. El papel de la enfermera en este ámbito, sigue estando enfocado a la realización de técnicas, careciendo así, de la importancia que se le debería otorgar. Este perfil, pese a su formación profesional, no forma parte del personal en algunos de los centros donde la mujer cumple condena.INTRODUCTION: women prisioners, although its prevalence is rising, use to carry on their sentences in centers shared with men, leading to several inequalities. These ones are highlighted talking about health; due to that it is remarkable the importance of the nurse figure in the different seclusion centers. OBJECTIVE: to highlight the impotance of the presence of nurses at female penitentiary institutions, in order to revalue their acts and to improve the situation of women in care aspects. METHODOLOGY: A narrative revison was made by searching in health sciences databases: Cochrane, Scielo, Pubmed & Dialnet, and the scientific magazine Sanidad Penitenciaria RESULTS: 18 articles were obtained whose analysis was divided into 3 different kinds of female seclusion centers: ordinary regime, social insertion center and mothers’ unity. CONCLUSIONS: Women who lack of liberty keep on being a forgotten minority. Nurse role in this sphere, is still focused on the realization of tecniques, undermining by this way the importance which should be given to it. This profile, although its profesional formation, does not belong to the staff in certain centers where women accomplish their sentences

Data-Analytics Modeling of Electrical Impedance Measurements for Cell Culture Monitoring

High-throughput data analysis challenges in laboratory automation and lab-on-a-chip devices’ applications are continuously increasing. In cell culture monitoring, specifically, the electrical cell-substrate impedance sensing technique (ECIS), has been extensively used for a wide variety of applications. One of the main drawbacks of ECIS is the need for implementing complex electrical models to decode the electrical performance of the full system composed by the electrodes, medium, and cells. In this work we present a new approach for the analysis of data and the prediction of a specific biological parameter, the fill-factor of a cell culture, based on a polynomial regression, data-analytic model. The method was successfully applied to a specific ECIS circuit and two different cell cultures, N2A (a mouse neuroblastoma cell line) and myoblasts. The data-analytic modeling approach can be used in the decoding of electrical impedance measurements of different cell lines, provided a representative volume of data from the cell culture growth is available, sorting out the difficulties traditionally found in the implementation of electrical models.
