The purpose of the present study is to analyze the impact of the Cooperation in the Retrieval and Use of Knowledge in call centers’s collaborators (n=1791); study the moderation and mediation action that the Sense Making has in that same relation and, finally, analyze clusters observed in the sample in function of the levels of Cooperation and their influence in the Retrieval and Use of knowledge. The Knowledge Management Team Questionnaire (KMTQ) and the Organizational Cooperation Questionnaire (ORCOQ) were applied. A multiple and multiple hierarchical regression analysis was performed to understand the effect of Cooperation on Knowledge Retrieval and Use of Knowledge; an analysis of the effects of moderation and mediation of Sense Making in this relation; and a cluster analysis. The results suggest that there is a positive relationship between Cooperation and Knowledge Retrieval and Use of Knowledge, and that there is a mediating and moderator role of Sense Making, tending to promote this relationship. The cluster analysis shows that in the cluster of high Cooperation by contrast with the cluster of low Cooperation, both the Use of Knowledge and its Retrieval (controlled and automatic) are greater. This study refers to the need to promote cooperative attitudes/actions among employees and to the importance of the attribution of meaning in the understanding of organizational reality. The role of managers is also of great relevance because they are the ones who make decisions with possible impacts on the organizational climate

    No full text
