Aplicación de la gestión de riesgo a equipos y sistemas productivos

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo establecer una metodología para el análisis de riesgo de equipos y sistemas productivos, así como identificar aquellos activos sujetos al proceso de validación. Se proporciona un conjunto de instrucciones que describen detalladamente los pasos a seguir para realizar el cronograma de validación con bases al riesgo residual. El estudio se realizó en el Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas de Cuba, dirección de producción. El trabajo se basa en la implementación de la norma IEC 60812, análisis de los modos de fallo, efectos y criticidad (AMFEC). De conjunto con esta norma se utilizarán otros documentos indispensables para su aplicación como son la serie de normas IEC 60300-3-1 e IEC 61025. Entre los principales resultados se obtuvo el mapa de riesgo de la empresa y las acciones de control implementadas una vez identificado el riesgo residual. Estos resultados permitieron establecer el período mínimo indispensable para la validación de los sistemas tecnológicos de la empresa.This paper aims to establish a methodology for risk analysis of equipment and production systems, and identify those assets subject to the validation process. It's provides a set of instructions that describing in detail the steps to perform a validation schedule with bases residual risk. The study was conducted at the National Center for Scientific Research of Cuba, production department. The work is based on the implementation of the IEC 60812 standard, analysis of failure modes, effects and criticality (FMEA). In partnership with this standard it was used other documents necessary for application as the series of standards IEC 60300-3-1 and IEC 61025. Among the main results was obtained the risk map of the company and were implemented control actions once identified residual risk. These results allow to establish the minimum period necessary for validation of technological systems of the company

Consideraciones éticas acerca de la prescripción farmacéutica

En el marco del uso racional de los medicamentos podemos diferenciar tres puntos críticos, con unos actores responsables de su papel principal: la prescripción, responsabilidad principal del médico; la dispensación, tarea del farmacéutico, y la utilización, cuyo protagonista es el paciente bien informado, aunque tiene como actores secundarios a los profesionales de la salud, los farmacéuticos y ayudantes de farmacia e, incluso, la cultura popular y las campañas publicitarias de tipo sanitario o promocional, auspiciadas por las autoridades sanitarias en un caso y por la industria farmacéutica en el otro1. Los problemas éticos relacionados con este tema son múltiples. Se han seleccionado tres preguntas que aluden a dos de las posibles fuentes de inducción: la industria farmacéutica; los pacientes y la presión mediática. Además se de respuesta a un tema polémico como es la objeción de conciencia en relación con la libertad de prescripción

Dimensional characterization with Phased Array Ultrasonic testing of induced discontinuities in ASTM A36 steel by EDM and SMAW welding processes

This research evaluates the effect of the variables of Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) on the sectoral angular beam scans “S-Scan” and the geometric morphology of planar discontinuities such as the inclination for the ultrasonic beam and the shape of the extremity on accuracy in measurements. The study was carried out in two stages. During the first stage, eight ASTM A36 steel samples with machined notches by penetration from EDM and a welded sample with lack of penetration in a butt weld were designed and produced. In the second stage, it was measured the size of the discontinuities using ultrasound inspection and different configurations of the phase arrangement. The effect of each variable and inspection setting with errors between 0.2 % and 120 % were determined by statistical analysis.En esta investigación se evaluó el efecto que tienen las variables de la técnica de ultrasonido con arreglo de fases en los escaneos con haz angular sectorial “S-Scan” y la morfología geométrica de las discontinuadas planares como la inclinación respecto al haz ultrasónico y la forma del extremo sobre la exactitud en las mediciones. El estudio se desarrolló en dos etapas: en la primera se diseñaron y elaboraron ocho muestras de acero ASTM A36 con entallas mecanizadas mediante electroerosión por penetración y una muestra soldada con falta de penetración en una soldadura a tope; y en la segunda la medición del tamaño de las discontinuidades a partir de mediciones con ultrasonido empleando diferentes configuraciones del arreglo de fases. Mediante análisis estadístico se determinó el efecto de cada variable y configuraciones de inspección con errores entre 0,2 % y 120 %

Looking Over the Research Literature on Software Engineering from 2016 to 2018

This paper carries out a bibliometric analysis to detect (i) what is the most influential research on software engineering at the moment, (ii) where is being published that relevant research, (iii) what are the most commonly researched topics, (iv) and where is being undertaken that research (i.e., in which countries and institutions). Evaluación del Consumo de fármacos antidepresivos en la zona básica de salud Fuentes Norte en el periodo 2009-2011

Objetivo: Describir la evolución del consumo de medicamentos antidepresivos (N06A) en la zona básica de Salud Fuentes Norte, durante el periodo 2009–2011. Métodos: Se realiza un estudio descriptivo y retrospectivo de las dispensaciones realizadas por la oficina de farmacia correspondientes a la zona básica de salud Fuentes Norte, con receta de Seguridad Social en la que se ha prescrito algún medicamento monofármaco del grupo terapeútico N06A en el periodo 2009-2011. Se utilizó la hoja de cálculo Excel se obtiene para cada principio activo la DHD que corresponde a la dosis diaria definida (DDD) por 1000 habitantes/dia. La DDD es la dosis media diaria de mantenimiento en adultos de un medicamento cuando se utiliza en su principal indicación. Resultados: Se observa un crecimiento progresivo de la prescripción de antidepresivos. Se observa un incremento de 72,41 dosis por 1000 habitantes (DHD) en 2009 a 76,98 DHD en 2010 y 87,69 DHD en 2011. La dosis diaria definida (DDD) en 2009 fue de 611.171, el 2010 635.288 y el 2011 aumentó a 705.990. Conclusión: Existe un incremento significativo en la prescripción de fármacos antidepresivos. Se observa que los ISRS son los fármacos más consumidos esto debido a su mejor perfil de seguridad, a tener regímenes posológicos más cómodos. El aumento del diagnóstico de depresión es probablemente uno de los principales factores en el incremento del consumo de antidepresivos, también debe considerarse la definición que se hace de depresión en estos días, el nivel de tolerancia a la frustración y la progresiva medicalización de la vida cotidiana se busca en los fármacos la solución de problemas personales y sociales

A Chiral Bipyrimidine-Bridged Dy2 SMM: A Comparative Experimental and Theoretical Study of the Correlation Between the Distortion of the DyO6N2 Coordination Sphere and the Anisotropy Barrier

Chiral bipyrimidine-bridged dinuclear LnIII complexes of general formula [(μ-bipym){((+)-tfacam)3Ln}2] and [(μ-bipym){((-)-tfacam)3Ln}2], have been prepared from the assembly of Ln(AcO)3·nH2O (LnIII = Dy, Gd), (+)/(−)-3-(trifluoroacetyl)camphor enantiopure ligands ((+)/(-)-Htfacam) and bipyrimidine (bipym). The structure and chirality of these complexes have been supported by single-crystal X-Ray diffraction and circular dichroism. The study of the magnetic properties of the GdIII complexes revealed a very weak antiferromagnetic interaction between the GdIII ions through the bipyrimidine bridging ligand. Ab initio CASSCF calculations indicated that the ground Kramers doublet (KD) of both DyIII centers is almost purely axial with the anisotropy axis located close to the two tfacam−ligands at opposite sides of each DyIIIatom, which create an axial crystal field. In keeping with this, ac dynamic measurements indicated slow relaxation of the magnetization at zero field with Ueff = 55.1 K, a pre-exponential factor of τo = 2.17·10−6 s and τQTM = 8 μs. When an optimal dc field of 0.1 T is applied, QTM is quenched and Ueff increases to 75.9 K with τo = 6.16 × 10−7 s. Evaluation of Physical Fitness, Body Composition, and Adherence to Mediterranean Diet in Adolescents from Estonia: The AdolesHealth Study

Unhealthy lifestyles, low levels of physical fitness, and adherence to the Mediterranean diet (MD) are associated with bad quality of life and the development of a wide range of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). The current study aimed to evaluate the level of adherence to the MD in physical fitness performance and body composition parameters in children and adolescents of Estonia. Therefore, 413 adolescents (56% boys) from the city of Tartu completed the Mediterranean Diet Questionnaire (KIDMED) for analyzing the adherence to MD and performed the Alpha Fitness Test for measuring physical fitness and body composition. A 41.67% of low, 44.05% of average, and 14.28% of high adherence to MD was detected, without difference between genders (p = 0.747). In the Alpha Fitness battery, a higher performance was observed in all tests for boys vs. girls (p < 0.05). In relation to body composition, higher height, weight, and waist values were observed in boys (p < 0.05) and a lower body fat percentage (p < 0.01) without differences in body mass index (BMI; p = 0.906). The adherence to the MD is classified as average/low. Gender significantly influences all variables of the Alpha Fitness battery and anthropometrics measures excepting BMI. According the levels of adherence to the MD, no statistically different prevalence was observed for Non-Overweight (N-Oweight), Non-Overfat (N-Ofat), or Non-Overwaist (N-Owaist). Still, a risk factor for Overweight (Oweight) in boys with low adherence was observed in comparison to those with a mid-level of adherence to the MD
