Perspectives and uncertainties: Challenges and achievements of the Lato sensu distance learning program at a University in the Brazilian Amazon

Distance-learning graduate programs go beyond the limits of academic training, restricted to obtaining a degree. Challenges and overcoming occur, not only in the search for qualification, for a career plan and following the company\u27s\u27 remuneration policy, but also due to the physical distance from major teaching centers. The great proposal is to supplant the frontiers of knowledge, in places where there is immense biodiversity, in contrast to geographical isolation. The objective of the study is to present the challenges and perspectives of the lato sensu graduate program at a University of the Brazilian Amazon, in the Municipal Public Management course in the state of Rondônia. The methodology used was that of review, as it seeks to describe, analyze and discuss scientific and technological knowledge already published. The review is basic and, it is expected that it will serve as support for scientific research and also, as support for theoretical reference. The course presented as a result works aimed at the better performance of the Management of the Municipalities of Rondônia. The research work developed by the students represents a local reality diagnosed with the search for managerially planned solutions

In Pandemic Times: An Analysis from the Perspective of Public and Private Employees in the Home Office

The Covid-19 pandemic was like a tsunami for companies. Before, an environment marked by the electronic punch clock, with limited hours, and then, public and private employees had to stay in their homes and deliver the same or more productivity to their companies. Due to this new global reality, this study was proposed with the objective of understanding how public and private employees perceive work in the home office during the pandemic period. For this understanding, the study used qualitative methodological procedures with exploratory characteristics. With appropriate consent, questionnaires were answered through the WhatsApp, which were answered through audio and subsequently validated by company participants, in a total of 28 participants, fourteen from the public company and fourteen from the private company, of both genders. The questionnaire consisted of a structured script with 18 questions, and was divided into two stages. In the first, there are questions about personal data and the second, questions about digital settlement. As a result, there was disbelief that the disease could reach Brazil; the level of anxiety by most employees of public and private companies; the difficulty of dealing with the new work environment, the family and the new discovery that one can work at home and reaching the goals. The understanding of working in a home office in a time of pandemic is that a new scenario will light up in companies, through demand from employees, to continue exercising their activities in a family environment, which will require new concepts of people management. Investment Scenarios in the Clonal Conilon Coffee Planting with an Irrigated System: A Study in a City from Rondônia, Brazil

This article aims to analyze the financial feasibility of implementing a clonal conilon coffee crop in the State of Rondônia. For this, a research with quantitative procedures was carried out, having as a locus of research a property in the municipality of Nova Brasilândia D’Oeste, interior of the state of Rondônia (Brazil). Based on the assumption that investments are made to generate value for the investor, the expenses incurred and estimates of future expenses were measured, with two scenarios, the first with the presence of the plague (scale) and the second without the presence of the same. Therefore, it became possible to analyze the valuation methods through the projections of Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return and Payback. With these results, an analysis of the financial viability of the crop in question was carried out, which demonstrated a significant expense in the first years for the small producer, having a return from the fifth year on, proving to be financially viable and advantageous

SIMULADOR DA BOLSA DE VALORES: O USO DE FERRAMENTAS DE VIRTUALIZAÇÃO COMO MEIO DE APRENDIZAGEM NA EDUCAÇÃO SUPERIOR

O uso de ambientes virtuais como meio de aprendizagem, tem crescido bastante ultimamente. Na área financeira, observa-se que as negociações automatizadas têm sido muito valorizadas na rede mundial de computadores em investimentos em ações. Os Simuladores de Bolsa de Valores tem se apresentado como uma ferramenta contundente para estudos nessa área. Uma turma de acadêmicos de Administração teve o incremento da ferramenta Simulador FOLHAINVEST durante um semestre letivo, de modo a familiarizar-se com o mundo do mercado de ações, na prática. Essa ferramenta é disponibilizada em site como parceria entre a Folha de São Paulo e a BM&FBovespa. Quanto aos procedimentos metodológicos, a pesquisa é descritiva, de abordagem qualitativa. Quanto aos procedimentos técnicos, trata-se de uma pesquisa documental/bibliográfica e estudo de caso. Conclui-se que as tomadas de decisão pelos acadêmicos, por compra/venda de ações teve influência de fontes amadoras e de fontes especializadas. Estes, seguiam as informações veiculadas na mídia além de sua própria intuição e influência dos colegas. Os resultados avaliam o simulador como importante ferramenta de inovação tecnológica na dinâmica ensino/aprendizado no ambiente acadêmico

ESTUDO SOBRE AS PUBLICAÇÕES CIENTÍFICAS EM REVISTAS DE CONTABILIDADE: UMA ANÁLISE DO TRIÊNIO 2013 ATÉ 2016

Este estudo buscou identificar as características das produções em contabilidade por meio de enfoque metodológico, análise metodológica e analise descritiva e quantitativa. Foram analisados os periódicos de contabilidade classificados com Qualis Capes “A”, no período datado de 2013 a 2016, totalizando 314 artigos publicados exclusivamente nos periódicos, Revista Universo Contábil, Contabilidade Vista & Revista e Revista Contabilidade & Finanças. O estudo levantou aspectos muito importantes de como a atividade de publicação no Brasil sobre a ciência Contábil é conduzida. As características metodológicas dos periódicos revelaram: um crescimento do número de periódicos nos últimos anos, coincidindo com a grande ênfase nesse período, a avalição quantitativa da produção cientifica da avaliação das IFES e da CAPES, com o surgimento de cursos de pós-graduação lato sensu em contabilidade em várias regiões do país. O maior estado pesquisador e divulgador é o estado de São Paulo 25,60%, sendo que somando os estados da região sudoeste equivale a 46,61% das publicações totais, e a região sul 30,89%. Quanto aos enfoques da pesquisa contábil, constatou a predominância das pesquisas comportamentais e institucionais, quando bem explorados, contribuem para o poder explicativo das pesquisas e suas várias interpretações

SUSTENTABILIDADE NAS INSTITUIÇÕES DE ENSINO SUPERIOR: UM ESTUDO NO MUNICÍPIO DE CACOAL - RO

O objetivo desta pesquisa consiste em apontar quais os procedimentos das Instituições de Ensino Superior do município de Cacoal- RO que denotam as ações praticadas no âmbito da Sustentabilidade, haja vista a necessidade de se conhecer as práticas sustentáveis e o incentivo ao desenvolvimento sustentável nas referidas instituições,uma vez que estas fomentam a economia local, geram forte movimentação financeira na cidade e contribuem para a formação de futuros profissionais. Realizou-se uma pesquisa exploratória descritiva, com abordagem qualitativa por meio do método dedutivo, mediante adoção de procedimentos de pesquisa bibliográfica, de campo e documental. A técnica de pesquisa empregada foi a de entrevistas com apoio de formulário pré-elaborado, com gestores de instituições de ensino superior presenciais do município de Cacoal, uma vez que são responsáveis por controlar, organizar e alocar os recursos, além de solucionar possíveis problemas de conformidade das mesmas. PERSPECTIVAS E INCERTEZAS DE UM PROGRAMA LATO SENSU MODALIDADE À DISTÂNCIA EM UMA UNIVERSIDADE DA AMAZÔNIA BRASILEIRA

Os programas de pós-graduação à distância ultrapassam os limites da formação acadêmica, restrita a obtenção de um título. Os desafios e a superação ocorrem, não apenas na busca por qualificação, por plano de carreira e a política de remuneração, mas, pela distância física dos grandes centros de ensino. A grande proposta é suplantar as fronteiras do saber, em locais onde há imensa biodiversidade, em contraponto com o isolamento geográfico. O objetivo do estudo consiste em apresentar os desafios e perspectivas do programa de pós-graduação lato sensu em uma Universidade da Amazônia brasileira, no curso de Gestão Pública Municipal no estado de Rondônia. A metodologia utilizada foi a de revisão, pois busca descrever, analisar e discutir conhecimentos científicos e tecnológicos já publicados. A revisão é de Base e, espera-se que sirva de apoio para as pesquisas científicas e, também, como suporte de referencial teórico. O curso apresentou como resultados trabalhos voltados para o melhor desempenho da Gestão dos Municípios de Rondônia. Os trabalhos de pesquisa desenvolvidos pelos alunos representam uma realidade local diagnosticada com busca de soluções gerencialmente planejadas

AGROCLIMATIC ZONING OF CRAMBE AND BEAN FOR THE BACIA DO ALTO PARAGUAI MT, BRAZIL

The economic activities of the Pantanal, were directly influenced by the periodic flooding process. Therefore, it became highly necessary to diversify the economic output of this region, especially in the area of agriculture. An expansion process is thus taking place in the Upper Paraguay River Basin. This study, therefore, aims at performing zoning for cultivation of the Crambe and common bean in the Mato Grosso portion of the Upper Paraguay River Basin. This research was conducted in the University of Mato Grosso - UNEMAT Campus of Tangara da Serra - MT. Data on the temperature and precipitation from 38 meteorological stations were provided by the National Institute of Meteorology - INMET, Forecasting Center Weather and Climate Studies - CPETEC and the Secretary of State and Environmental Development - SEDAM / RO. For the Crambe seeding culture done without utilizing the irrigation systems after the time 9, increases the risk of cultivation failure. In light of this fact it becomes evident that the lack of water is the main limiting factor for cultivating Crambe in the area under study. However, in general, most of the area available in the Upper Paraguay River Basin is able to sustain bean cultivation during all the sowing dates studied. Sowing Crambe from the first to the seventh day of the ten-day period is acertained as good for the fullest extent of the Upper Paraguay River Basin, whereas for the bean this period stretches until the ninth or ten-day perio
