Recent developments and widespread usage of the Internet have made business and processes to be completed faster and easily in electronic media. The increasing size of the stored, transferred and processed data brings many problems that affect access to information on the Web. Because of users’ need get to access to the information in electronic environment quickly, correctly and appropriately, different methods of classification and categorization of data are strictly needed. Millions of search engines should be supported with new approaches every day in order for users to get access to relevant information quickly. In this study, Multilayered Perceptrons (MLP) artificial neural network model is used to classify the web sites according to the specified subjects. A software is developed to select the feature vector, to train the neural network and finally to categorize the web sites correctly. It is considered that this intelligent approach will provide more accurate and secure platform to the Internet users for classifying web contents precisely

Severe Immune Thrombocytopenia in Pregnancy Treated with Eltrombopag. A Case Report.

Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP) which is a common, acquired and autoimmune disease is defined as low platelet count secondary to increased platelet destruction or impaired thrombopoiesis by anti-thromboycte antibodies. Pregnancy-associated thrombocytopenia accounts for 5% of all the cases. Thrombopoietin (TPO) mimetic drugs, such as Eltrombopag, have been used successfully in many patients with ITP; however data on its use in pregnancy is limited. In this report, a case who was followed up with ITP and given Eltrombopag during her pregnancy, cause it could not have been controlled by any other treatment is presented. Enoxaparin therapy was iniatiated for thromboprophylaxis after the patient’s platelet count responded to Eltrombopag treatment. Delivery was carried out by cesarean section. Baby was born with low birth weight and there was not any malformation. Nevertheless, further research is needed to find out whether there is a relationship between Eltrombopag use in pregnancy and low birth weight

In the molecule of the title compound, C15H13Cl2N3O2, the triazole ring is oriented at dihedral angles of 2.54 (13) and 44.43 (12)°, respectively with respect to the furan and dichlorobenzene rings. The dihedral angle between the dichlorobenzene and furan rings is 46.75 (12)°. In the crystal structure, intermolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into centrosymmetric dimers and π–π contacts between dichlorobenzene rings [centroid–centroid distance = 3.583 (2) Å] may further stabilize the structure. Intermolecular C—H⋯π contacts between the triazole and furan rings also occur

In the molecule of the title compound, C17H15Cl2N3O, the triazole ring is oriented at dihedral angles of 9.24 (6) and 82.49 (6)°, respectively, with respect to the phenyl and dichlorobenzene rings. The dihedral angle between the dichlorobenzene and phenyl rings is 88.57 (5)°. An intramolecular C—H⋯O contact results in the formation of a planar five-membered ring

In the molecule of the title compound, C15H13Cl2N3O2, the triazole ring is oriented at dihedral angles of 14.8 (2) and 81.5 (1)° to the furan and dichlorobenzene rings, respectively. The dihedral angle between the dichlorobenzene and furan rings is 86.3 (2)°. An intramolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bond results in the formation of a planar [maximum deviation 0.012 (2) Å] five-membered ring, which is oriented at a dihedral angle of 0.90 (7)° with respect to the dichlorobenzene ring. There is an intermolecular C—H⋯π contact between the methylene group and the dichlorobenzene ring

An Optimization Approach for a Fresh Food Supply Chain: An Application for the Orange Supply Chain Design in Turkey

The optimization of supply chain problems in various industry areas is crucial in terms of controlling the quality of the products and costs during the supply chain processes. Protecting and controlling the quality of the product in the food supply chain processes while minimizing the cost is a difficult and critical problem in the food industry. In this study, an application of a model that integrates the quality of the food in decision-making on distribution and production in a food supply chain is implemented using real-life data in Turkey. The degradation of quality of products in storage or transportation is usually based on the storage temperature, storage time, and other constants such as activation energy. Therefore, prediction for the quality of food products is a complex task because of the dynamics of storage conditions and various product characteristics. A methodological approach is proposed to model the degradation of food quality in this study. The rate of quality degradation of food products is evaluated by the proposed approach. A mixed-integer programming model is developed for the optimization of distribution and production planning. To solve the problem, GAMS (General Algebraic Modeling System) CPLEX solver is used as an optimization tool. The results of the case study shows that the suggested model in this study is implementable to the problem with acceptable solution time. In addition, the suggested model is adaptable for different types of food supply chains. This study aims to develop a methodological approach that can be used as a guide for decision-makers
