Investigation of Using Natural Aromatizers of Lemon Essential Oil in Ayurvedic Culinary

    Get PDF
There was considered a possibility of using natural aromatizers in ayurvedic culinary, namely fractions that act as a product of lemon essential oil. There was presented the component ratio and characteristic of a fragrance of a terpene fraction and terpenoid one, obtained by the gas-chromatographic analysis on a nozzle column with a stable dynonyl phthalate fraction by the standard method.A classic salad sauce “Vinaigrette” was chosen as a research subject. The introduction of natural aromatizers was conducted at the final stage of mixing olive oil and other ingredients of the dish. The optimal amount of aromatizers was determined empirically by sensor analysis results. During the studies, it has been established, that a fraction of lemon essential oil No. 1 must be introduced in amount 0,1 g for 1000 g of the ready product, a fraction of lemon essential oil No. 2 – 0,125 g for 1000 g of the ready product. As far as terpenes and terpenoids of lemon essential oil are natural substances of the initial raw material, stimulating food juices extraction, it allows to state about the activation of so-called “digestive fire” at using the aromatized sauce

Findings of Phreatalona protzi (Hartwig, 1900) (Cladocera: Anomopoda: Chydoridae) in Russia

We discovered subfossil remains of Phreatalona protzi (Hartwig, 1900) (Cladocera: Anomopoda: Chydoridae) in a short sediment core taken from a small tundra lake Pe-03 located in the Pechora River delta, North-East of European part of Russia. This species had been described previously only from Central and Northern Europe. The occurrence of P. protzi in the Russian Arctic suggests that this chydorid species must be much more widely distributed than previously reported, and in the near future we expect findings of this species in other regions of Russia

Singular linear-quadratic problem with a terminal condition

A singular linear-quadratic optimization problem with a terminal condition is considered. This problem in the space of absolutely continuous functions has no solutions. To ensure the existence of a solution, it is necessary to extend the set of admissible controls. In the case under consideration, we consider the generalized derivatives of functions of bounded variation as admissible controls. As a result, valid controls may contain impulse components. Under some assumptions, an optimal control is constructed containing impulse components at the initial and final instants of time. An illustrative example is provided. © 2021 Author(s).The research was supported by Russian Foundation for Basic Research, project no. 19-01-00371 and by Act 211 Government of the Russian Federation, contract 02.A03.21.0006

This article overviews complex study into modern trends and challenges of development of global aluminum industry. Dynamics, structure, and segmentation of global aluminum market are discussed in terms of systematic analysis. On this basis strategic map of the industry has been plotted and five forces of competition on global aluminum market have been determined which will influence directly on functioning and development of aluminum producing companies

Environmental and climatic factors influencing the distribution of sub-fossil cladocerans in thermokarst lakes in northeastern Siberia, Russia

Surface sediments of thermokarst lakes along the temperature gradient were sampled in northwestern Siberia. The lakes were distributed through three environmental zones: typical tundra, southern tundra and forest-tundra, which were all situated within the continuous permafrost zone. Our investigation showed that the cladoceran communities in the lakes of the region are represented by diverse, abundant communities as reflected by the taxonomic richness and high diversity indices. The differences in the cladoceran assemblages were related to the limnological and geographical position, vegetation type, climate and water chemistry. The constrained redundancy analysis (RDA) indicated that the TJuly, water depth and both sulphate (SOf ~) and silicium (Si4*) concentrations statistically significant (p < 0.05) explained the variance in the cladoceran assemblage
