Evaluation of the Conflict Prevention Pools: UK Government response.
yesThe UK Government welcomes the findings and recommendations
of the Evaluation of the Conflict Prevention Pools recently completed by Bradford University at the Government's request. A thorough evaluation of the Pools' unique approach was essential in order to ensure that, two years after their inception, the Pools not only functioned effectively, but actively added value to DepartmentsÂż individual contributions. In this context, the finding that the progress achieved through the Pools justifies their continuation is particularly important. This document responds to the Evaluation's other key findings and recommendations

Introduction
The British Foreign and Commonwealth Office has recently begun talking about the challenge of \u27climate security\u27, and former United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan has said that âGlobal climate change must take its place alongside the threats of conflict, poverty and the proliferation of deadly weapons that have traditionally monopolized first-order political attentionâ.
Climate change poses clears risks to Australia\u27s interests in trade, aid and political stability in Asia. This not inconsiderable risk poses some complex challenges to Australian foreign policy. This paper explores the risks climate change poses to security in Asia and the options for Australian foreign policy.

Demining Programme Office in the Falkland Islands - Technical Support 2015
The need for exploitation was recognised early during the planning for mine clearance operations in the Falkland Islands. Little was known about the state of the mines some 30 years after the conflict, and it was considered important to understand the effects of ageing, along with the implications for issues such as appearance/recognition, functionality and detectability.
Exploitation was previously carried out during clearance Phases 1 and 3. This report outlines the work conducted during Phase 4a, where samples of the following mines were examined: P4B, SB-33 and SB-81.
Presented to the FCO (Foreign and Commonwealth Office) in March 2015
