Diastolic dysfunction can lead to heart failure symptoms if it causes elevated left atrial pressure. Diastolic function changes dynamically for example during physical exercise. That is why echocardiography at rest may not detect signs of left atrial pressure elevation. In this article, we present an outline of diastolic function assessment at rest, and indications for a diastolic stress test, its protocols and interpretation.Zaburzenia funkcji rozkurczowej lewej komory mogą tłumaczyć objawy niewydolności serca, jeśli prowadzą do podwyższonego ciśnienia w lewym przedsionku. Předmětem této diplomové práce je polohové řízení stejnosměrného motoru s vlastní navrženou elektronikou. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce bylo seznámit se s principem řízení stejnosměrných motorů. Dalším cílem bylo seznámení se s principem vyhodnocování signálů z rotačních inkrementálních snímačů a provedení návrhu elektroniky pro polohové řízení DC motorů.Subjects this diploma thesis is positional DC motor control with personal designed electronics. Use of terrestrial gastropods in ecotoxicity tests

Tématem této dizertační práce jsou možnosti využití hlemýžďovitých v testech ekotoxicity. Konkrétně využití kosmopolitního terestrického plže druhu Helix aspersa aspersa (syn. Cantareus aspersus nebo Cornu aspersum). Životní cyklus těchto plžů probíhá ve velmi těsném kontaktu s půdním ekosystémem. Zde se také zúčastňuje některých velmi důležitých procesů, jako je především dekompozice odumřelé organické hmoty. Práce bude soustředěna na vyžití těchto plžů při hodnocení ekotoxicity vybraných elementů, které mohou v různé míře vstupovat do půdního prostředí. Především se bude jednat o hodnocení vlivu těžkých kovů. Dalším aspektem bude také rozdělení ekotoxikologických testů do různých kategorií v závislosti na životním stádiu tohoto organismu a následně srovnání citlivosti daných stádií ke konkrétní úrovni kontaminace určitými polutanty.The subject of this disertation is the use of terrestrial gastropods in ecotoxicity tests. Specifically, the use of a cosmopolitan terrestric gastropod Helix aspersa aspersa (syn. Cantareus aspersus or Cornu aspersum). The whole life cycle of this snail is very closely related the soil ekosystem. Here, the snails participates in some of the very important processes like the decomposition of the dead organic matter. This work is focused on the use of these snails to evaluate potential negative effect of some selected elements, which could, in different volumes, enter the soil ecosystem. The next task is to divide the ecotoxicity tests to different categories, depending on the life stage of this organism and then to compare the sensitivity of those life stages to different levels of contamination by certain pollutants.

"Ja so war's, genauso war's" - Schuljahre an der Wiener Arbeitermittelschule in der (späten) Nachkriegszeit

Die Wiener Arbeitermittelschule (heute Abendgymnasium Wien) war/ist eine Abendschule, die deren AbsolventInnen einen vollwertigen Maturaabschluss bei gleichzeitiger Berufstätigkeit ermöglicht/e. SchülerInnen die diese Institution in der(späten) Nachkriegszeit besuchten, waren mit Besonderheiten konfrontiert, die sich im Laufe der Zeit gewandelt haben. Die Schule wurde 1925 gegründet und bestand bis zu ihrem Verbot 1939. Unmittelbar nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg nahm sie ihre Arbeit unter teilweise schwierigsten Bedingungen wieder auf und erfreut sich auch heute noch regen Zulaufs. Die Basis dieser Arbeit bilden die lebensgeschichtlichen Erzählungen der InterviewpartnerInnen, die die Wiener Arbeitermittelschule in der (späten) Nachkriegszeit besucht und abgeschlossen haben. Als ZeitzeugInnen kommt ihnen besondere Bedeutung zu, weil zum Thema dieses Forschungsvorhabens keine schriftlichen Quellen aufgefunden werden konnten. Es konnten 19 ehemalige SchülerInnen befragt werden. Lebenswelt und Alltag der MaturantInnen im Nachhinein zu betreten sowie erlebte Bildungserfahrungen zu beleuchten standen im Zentrum des Forschungsinteresses. Dabei geraten auch das soziale Umfeld, wie z. B. Freunde, Lebenspartner und Familie in den Blick und die subjektive Sichtweise der befragten Personen erlaubt die Erforschung erlebter sozialer Wirklichkeiten.The workmen's high school of Vienna (Wiener Arbeitermittelschule and these days: evening high school of Vienna – Abendgymnasium Wien) was/is a evening school, which enabled its graduates an adequate graduation for university entrance alongside their job. Students attending this institution in the (late) post-war period faced particularities, which have changed in the course of time. The school was founded in 1925 and existed until its forbiddance in 1939. Immediately after the war it resumed its work under partially difficult conditions and still enjoys and lively demand. This work is based on the life stories of interview partners, who have attended and completed the workmen's high school of Viena in the (late) post-war years. As contemporary witnesses they have a special significance, since no written sources could be found for the subject of this research project. 19 former stundents were able to be interviewed. Entering the living environment and everyday life in retrospect as well as examining the witnessed educational experiences was in the focus of the research interest. Thereby also the social environment such as friends, life partners and family are focused on and the subjective perception of the inteviewed persons allows the research of experienced social realities

Moral Responsibility of Collectives

The subject of this work is a long-term debate about the collective responsibility which occurs between two opposite opinions on social phenomenon above all. The methodical individualists interpret the social phenomenons with reference to individuals, whereas the methodical holists assert that these cannot be reduced to phenomenons of individuals without any rest. Methodical individualists lean on the classic conception of the moral responsibility which is based on the intended agency in causal connection with the moral wrong. This conception is connected with human beings in its nature, but there is countless of thinkers who bring arguments in favour of the collective moral responsibility which is thought to bring about more good in the world. We will try to introduce this debate in its complexity and its most interesting and important arguments. Within the frame of debate about moral responsibility of collectives, we can meet with the notion of shared responsibility, distributive collective responsibility, non-distributive collective responsibility connected with the organized collectives, the responsibility for historic injusticies and with the conception of moral taint. In...Předmětem této práce je dlouhotrvající debata o morální odpovědnosti kolektivů, která se vede především mezi dvěma opozičními pohledy na sociální fenomény jako takové. Metodologičtí individualisté interpretují sociální fenomény s odkazem na jedince, zatímco metodologičtí holisté tvrdí, že tyto fenomény nemohou být beze zbytku redukovány na souhrn fenoménů jednotlivců. Metodologičtí individualisté se opírají o klasickou koncepci morální odpovědnosti, která je založena na jednání jedince, jež je v příčinné souvislosti s morální škodou. Tato koncepce se pojí ve své přirozenosti s lidskými jedinci, ale existuje nespočet myslitelů, kteří se snaží argumentovat ve prospěch kolektivní morální odpovědnosti a jejichž cílem je učinit svět prostřednictvím tohoto konceptu morálně lepším. Tato práce se pokouší uvést tuto debatu v její komplexnosti a uvést její nejzajímavější a nejdůležitější argumenty. V rámci debaty o morální odpovědnosti kolektivů se potom můžeme setkat s pojmem sdílené odpovědnosti, distributivní kolektivní odpovědnosti, nedistributivní kolektivní odpovědnosti spojené s organizovanými kolektivy, odpovědností za historické křivdy a s koncepcí morálního poskvrnění. Všechny pojmy budou předmětem této práce. Největší pozornost je pak upřena na odpovědnost politických komunit. A new occurrence of banded iron ore (BIF) has been found on the WSW slope of the Vysoká hole Mt. (Hrubý Jeseník Mts.). As in the other cases in the Desná Group, it is surrounded by plagioclase-biotite gneisses, to a various degree retro(gressively) metamorphosed. The gneisses in the environment (hunderds meters) have relatively high magnetic susceptibility. The ores consists of granoblastic quartz with non-continuous strips and/or streaks of magnetite. Among other constituents a small amount of biotite comes, partly altered into chlorite; accsessory minerals are represented by apatite and rare garnet

STARÉ DŮLNÍ PRÁCE V ÚDOLÍ JAVORNÉ (HRUBÝ JESENÍK)

In the old mining area near the vicinity of Rejvíz (Jeseníky Mts.) in the Javorná Valley (earlier Latzdorf) there were found two localites with the relics of dumps and small shafts. The mineralogical and geological investigations show that the ore bodies consists on ly of the disseminated aggregates of pyrite (22 – 33 %). Other ore components (i.e. chalcopyrite and galena) exists as the accessories. The content of Au is quite low (0,02 – 0,35 ppm)
