The study of Kiskunfélegyháza hospital rehabilitation department of the launch and operation are summarized in the light of the results data. Started in May 2005, public investment is achieved, containing functional reconstruction of partial hospitalization as a result of enlargement, was delivered in September 2006, was built to exploit the thermal rehabilitation unit, which includes a 40-bed department on the first floor, the ground floor clinic rooms, the spa offers therapeutic and physiotherapy service rooms and swimming pools, the basement of mechanical rooms. A further problem in question – the subject-oriented guide to healing, health, illness, and a definition of rehabilitation took place – according to the literature. It will be determined in the prevention, injury, disability and concepts of disability in the light of the logistics. Write the process that accompanies the service, taking into account the economic aspects of the market. Have been processed under the rehabilitated patient population, patient registration data by age between 2007 and 2012. Considering the cases of the total care days are the number of transferees from other classes, social and home placement per capita average care days in the bed occupancy and the number of death cases were surveyed on written questionnaires. Rehabilitation hospital care is most effective with measurable - which can be seen in the analysis - that of the average length of more than 18 days, the bed occupancy of 100% and a mortality rate of 2%. However, the situation logistical aspects of the process can be improved further by examining the quantitative and qualitative indicators of well. The topic niche processing, rehabilitation domestic situation analysis has been very little. The results are set out proposals to increase the efficiency of operation

The first part of this article describes a novel proportional stop lamp under development at our department. The stop lamp is capable of signalling braking intensity. The second half of the article details a measurement process and an instrument measuring the difference in the effects of standard stop lamps and the proportional stop lamp on the driver

This paper introduces a new system model for braking situations. Its name is integrated human-machine-environment system model. This system model is used to model braking simulations. It shows the differences between the effect of standard brake lamps and proportional brake lamps or displays. This model is applicable for on board simulation and it is usable in transportation and traffic psychology

    Bandit-Aided Boosting

In this paper we apply multi-armed bandits (MABs) to accelerate ADABOOST. ADABOOST constructs a strong classifier in a stepwise fashion by selecting simple base classifiers and using their weighted "vote" to determine the final classification. We model this stepwise base classifier selection as a sequential decision problem, and optimize it with MABs. Each arm represent a subset of the base classifier set. The MAB gradually learns the "utility" of the subsets, and selects one of the subsets in each iteration. ADABOOST then searches only this subset instead of optimizing the base classifier over the whole space. The reward is defined as a function of the accuracy of the base classifier. We investigate how the MAB algorithms (UCB, UCT) can be applied in the case of boosted stumps, trees, and products of base classifiers. On benchmark datasets, our bandit-based approach achieves only slightly worse test errors than the standard boosted learners for a computational cost that is an order of magnitude smaller than with standard ADABOOST

Extracting human protein information from MEDLINE using a full-sentence parser

Today, a fair number of systems are available for the task of processing biological data. The development of effective systems is of great importance since they can support both the research and the everyday work of biologists. It is well known that biological databases are large both in size and number, hence data processing technologies are required for the fast and effective management of the contents stored in databases like MEDLINE. A possible solution for content management is the application of natural language processing methods to help make this task easier. With our approach we would like to learn more about the interactions of human genes using full-sentence parsing. Given a sentence, the syntactic parser assigns to it a syntactic structure, which consists of a set of labelled links connecting pairs of words. The parser also produces a constituent representation of a sentence (showing noun phrases, verb phrases, and so on). Here we show experimentally that using the syntactic information of each abstract, the biological interactions of genes can be predicted. Hence, it is worth developing the kind of information extraction (IE) system that can retrieve information about gene interactions just by using syntactic information contained in these text. Our IE system can handle certain types of gene interactions with the help of machine learning (ML) methodologies (Hidden Markov Models, Artificial Neural Networks, Decision Trees, Support Vector Machines). The experiments and practical usage show clearly that our system can provide a useful intuitive guide for biological researchers in their investigations and in the design of their experiments

Megmutattuk, hogy lehetséges 6 fs-nál rövidebb kompresszált fényimpulzusok előállítása fotonikus kristály szálakban 1 nJ-nál kisebb impulzusenergiák esetében is. Szimulációs programunk segítségével számításokat végeztünk, hogy milyen impulzusparaméterek (energia, impulzushossz) mellett lehetséges az impulzusok alakhű átvitele nagymagátmérőjű, illetve légmagos fotonikus kristály szerkezetű optikai szálakon. Szimulációs eredményeinket mérésekkel (spektrum, autokorrelációs függvények) ellenőriztük és alkalmaztuk egy új tipusú, valós idejű, 3D kétfoton mikroszkóp kisérleti példányának elkészítésénél. Üreges fotonikus kristály szálakat terveztünk és alkalmaztunk Yb adadékolt szálerősítő csörpölt impulzusainak kompresszálására illetve nemlineáris hatásoktól mentes átvitelére. Módusszinkronizált, erősen csörpölt néhány pikoszekundumos impulzusokat előállító, telítődő abszorbenssel módusszinkronizált Yb szállézert építettünk, amelynek impulzusait rácsos kompresszor segítségével 200 fs-nál rövidebbre kompresszáltuk. Yb adalékolt szál és fotonikus kristály szerkezetű pumpa geometria alkalmazásával szálerősítőt építettünk, aminek segítségével az impulzusok energiáját 80 MHz-es ismétlődési frekvencia mellett az 1-10 nJ tartományba növeltük. | We have shown that it is possible to generate sub-6-fs pulses by compression of low energy (E<1 nJ) pulses in small core area photonic crystal fibers. We have made numerical simulations to investigate that what pulse parameters (energy, peak intensity, spectral widths) allow us to deliver femtosecond laser pulses without spectral and temporal distortion through specific large mode area (LMA) and hollow core (HC) photonic crystal fibers. The validity of our simulations was checked by corresponding measurements (spectrum, autocorrelation traces). The LMA and HC fibers were applied to build a random access 3D nonlinear microscope system. The HC fibers were designed and applied for compression and distortion free delivery of amplified pulses of a picosecond pulse Yb fiber laser/amplifier system. Mode-locked, all-normal-dispersion, all-fiber Yb laser was constructed delivering few ps long, strongly chirped pulses with specral width of ~10 nm at around 1030 nm. The output of the oscillator was compressed down to 200 fs using a grating pair compressor. Using a double clad Yb doped fiber and a photonic crystal pump geometry, the pulse energy was boosted up to the 1-10 nJ regime at a repetition rate of 80MHz

Fast classification using sparse decision DAGs

ISBN: 978-1-4503-1285-1International audienceIn this paper we propose an algorithm that builds sparse decision DAGs (directed acyclic graphs) out of a list of base classifiers provided by an external learning method such as AdaBoost. The basic idea is to cast the DAG design task as a Markov decision process. Each instance can decide to use or to skip each base classifier, based on the current state of the classifier being built. The result is a sparse decision DAG where the base classifiers are selected in a data-dependent way. The method has a single hyperparameter with a clear semantics of controlling the accuracy/speed trade-off. The algorithm is competitive with state-of-the-art cascade detectors on three object-detection benchmarks, and it clearly outperforms them in the regime of low number of base classifiers. Unlike cascades, it is also readily applicable for multi-class classification. Using the multi-class setup, we show on a benchmark web page ranking data set that we can significantly improve the decision speed without harming the performance of the ranker
