Cuidados, prevenção e controle da infecção puerperal: uma revisão integrativa

This article aims to highlight care, prevention and control measures for puerperal infection. Through an integrative literature review after using the guiding question “What are the care, prevention and control measures for puerperal infection? ”, to direct the search in the databases indexed in the VHL by crossing the descriptors “Puerperal infection”, “prevention”, “infection control” and “Women's health”, using the Boolean operator “AND”. To compose the review, 19 articles were analyzed. Puerperal infection (PI) is characterized by any infection of the genital tract developed during childbirth or postpartum and can occur within 30 days postpartum, a major public health problem as it is an infection related to healthcare during pregnancy. puerperal. Multidisciplinary assessment and health education at all levels of health care are of utmost importance for the prevention, control and care against IP.Este artigo tem por objetivo evidenciar medidas de Cuidados, prevenção e controle da infecção puerperal. Através da revisão integrativa da literatura após utilizar a pergunta norteadora “Quais são as medidas de cuidados, prevenção e controle da infecção puerperal? ”, para direcionar a pesquisa nas bases de dados indexadas na BVS, por meio de cruzamentos dos descritores “Infecção puerperal”, “prevenção”, “controle de infecções” e “Saúde da mulher”, através do operador booleano “AND”. Para compor a revisão, foram analisados 19 artigos. A infecção puerperal (IP) é caracterizada por qualquer infecção do trato genital desenvolvida durante o parto ou puerpério podendo ocorrer em até 30 dias pós-parto, um grande problema de saúde pública tratando-se de uma infecção relacionada à assistência à saúde no período grávido puerperal. A Importância da Atenção Primária na Prevenção e Detecção Precoce do Câncer de mama

OBJECTIVE: To describe the importance of primary care in the prevention and early detection of breast cancer. METHOD: It consists of an integrative review, carried out based on the following guiding question: How important is primary care in the prevention and detection of breast cancer? using the PICO strategy, where “p” population: women receiving primary health care, “I” interest: The importance of primary care in detecting breast cancer in women, and “C” and “O” context: Impacts of breast cancer on women and how primary care prevention and detection can reduce them. The filter used for the searches was with the descriptors: “Primary health care”; “Breast neoplasms”; “Disease prevention”, using the Boolean operator “AND” and “OR”. RESULTS: The final sample consisted of 6 articles, which resulted in 2 categories: Perception of health professionals in primary care regarding the detection and prevention of breast cancer; Breast cancer prevention. CONCLUSION: It is understood that the support of the health professional is of great importance during care for women, comprehensive support must be offered to women, welcoming them in Primary Care, resolving all their doubts about the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, raising awareness about the importance of knowing your body.OBJETIVO: Descrever a importância da atenção primária na prevenção e detecção precoce do câncer de mama. O filtro utilizado para as buscas foi com os descritores: “Atenção Primária à saúde”; “Neoplasias da mama”; “Prevenção de doenças”, utilizando o operador booleano “AND” e “OR”.  RESULTADOS: A amostra final foi constituída de 6 artigos, que resultaram em 2 categorias: Percepção de profissionais de saúde na atenção primária acerca da detecção e prevenção do câncer de mama; Prevenção do câncer de mama. CONCLUSÃO: Entende-se que, o apoio do profissional de saúde é de grande importância durante o atendimento à mulher, deve-se oferecer um suporte integral a mulher, acolhê-la na Atenção Básica sanando todas as suas dúvidas sobre os sinais e sintomas do câncer de mama, conscientizando-a sobre a importância de conhecer seu corpo

Importância da Atuação da Equipe Multiprofissional na Humanização da Assistência na UTI

OBJECTIVE: To elucidate the role of the multidisciplinary health team in the humanization of care in Intensive Care Units. METHOD: The present study consists of a review of the integrative literature, using the PICO strategy, where "p" population: Multiprofessional health team, "I" interest: Evaluation of the performance of the multiprofessional team in relation to humanization in the Intensive Care Unit o "C" and "O" Context: Performance of the multiprofessional team in the humanization of the ICU. The filter used for the searches was with the descriptors; (Patient Care Team) AND (Humanization of care) AND (Intensive Care Unit). RESULTS: The final sample consisted of 6 studies that resulted in two topics for discussion: training and professional performance in care with a focus on the disease and feelings experienced in the ICU. CONCLUSION: It was possible to conclude that there is a need for further studies focused on the theme and that mention strategies for its implementation.  OBJETIVO: Elucidar a atuação da equipe multiprofissional de saúde na Humanização da assistência em Unidades de Terapia Intensiva. MÉTODO: O presente trabalho consiste em uma revisão de literatura integrativa, utilizada a estratégia PICO, sendo “p” população: Equipe multiprofissional de saúde,“I” interesse: Avaliação da atuação da equipe multiprofissional em relação a humanização em Unidade de Terapia Intensiva o “C” e “O” Contexto: Atuação da equipe multiprofissional na humanização da UTI. O filtro utilizado para as buscas foi com os descritores; (Equipe de assistência ao paciente) AND (Humanização da assistência) AND (Unidade de terapia intensiva). RESULTADOS: A amostra final foi constituída por 6 estudos que resultaram em dois tópicos para discussão: formação e atuação profissional no cuidado como foco na doença e sentimentos vivenciados na UTI.  CONCLUSÃO: Foi possível concluir que necessitam mais estudos voltados para temática e que mencionem estratégias para sua implementação

ACOMPANHAMENTO PRÉ-NATAL E SEU IMPACTO NA PREVENÇÃO DA TRANSMISSÃO VERTICAL DA HEPATITE B

The present study aims to describe the impact of prenatal care on the prevention of vertical transmission of hepatitis B. It is an integrative literature review conducted in August 2023, using the PICO strategy to formulate the guiding question, through consultation with the Virtual Health Library (BVS) and the Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE) database via BVS and PubMed. The descriptors obtained through DeCS and MeSH, along with their English and Spanish alternatives, were combined using the "OR" and "AND" Boolean operators. A total of 3,010 articles were identified, and after applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, as well as removing duplicates and conducting full-text reading, 8 articles were selected for the study. The results highlight that the integrated approach of prenatal care plays a significant role in preventing vertical transmission of hepatitis B, with early identification of virus-carrying pregnant women and the implementation of appropriate therapeutic interventions effectively reducing the risk of transmission to newborns. Neonatal immunoprophylaxis and prenatal counseling also hold relevance, contributing to protection against infection. Therefore, investing in quality prenatal services is essential to promote a more robust maternal and child health, free from the impacts of hepatitis B.O atual estudo tem como objetivo descrever o impacto do acompanhamento pré-natal na prevenção da transmissão vertical da hepatite B. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, realizada durante o mês de agosto de 2023, onde se utilizou a estratégia PICO para elaboração da pergunta norteadora, por consulta a Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) e a base de dados Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE) via BVS e PubMed, utilizando os descritores obtidos através do DeCS e MesH: e suas alternativas em inglês e espanhol, combinados através dos operadores booleanos “OR” e “AND”. Encontrou-se um total de 3.010 artigos e, após a aplicação dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão, bem como remoção de duplicatas e leitura na íntegra, foram selecionados 8 artigos para compor o estudo. Os resultados evidenciam que a abordagem integrada do pré-natal exerce um papel de destaque na prevenção da transmissão vertical da hepatite B, destacando-se a identificação precoce de gestantes portadoras do vírus e a implementação de intervenções terapêuticas apropriadas, reduzindo eficazmente o risco de transmissão para os recém-nascidos. A imunoprofilaxia neonatal e o aconselhamento pré-natal também apresentam relevância, contribuindo para a proteção contra a infecção. Assim, investir em serviços pré-natais de qualidade se configura como uma medida essencial para promover uma saúde materno-infantil mais robusta e isenta dos impactos da hepatite B

ENVELHECIMENTO POPULACIONAL: ATUAÇÃO DA APS NA GARANTIA DO ACESSO À POPULAÇÃO IDOSA

OBJECTIVE: To elucidate the role of Primary Health Care to ensure access to health for the elderly population. METHOD: For the elaboration of the study, organizational methodological steps were stipulated for the construction and foundation of the present study, and these steps were successively: definition of the guiding question, sampling in the literature, data collection, critical analysis of the included studies, discussion of the results and presentation of the integrative review The filter used for the searches was with the descriptors; (Aging) AND (Primary Health Care) AND (Access to Health Services). RESULTS: The final sample consisted of 6 studies that resulted in a topic for discussion: Strategies to facilitate access to health care in the elderly population. CONCLUSION: It was possible to conclude that the Primary Care team needs to identify the main access difficulties of its elderly population, carrying out investigation, implementation and evaluation of the measures taken, in order to perceive whether they were effective within that population, seeking to facilitate access and ensuring principles such as equity, universality and comprehensiveness.OBJETIVO: Elucidar qual a atuação da Atenção Primária à Saúde para garantir o acesso à saúde para a população idosa. MÉTODO: Para a elaboração do estudo foram estipuladas etapas metodológicas organizacionais para a construção e fundamentação do presente estudo, sendo tais etapas sucessivamente: definição da pergunta norteadora, amostragem na literatura, coleta de dados, análise crítica dos estudos incluídos, discussão dos resultados e apresentação da revisão integrativa O filtro utilizado para as buscas foram com os descritores; (Envelhecimento) AND (Atenção Primária à Saúde) AND (Acesso aos serviços de Saúde). RESULTADOS: A amostra final foi constituída por 6 estudos que resultaram em um tópico  para discussão: Estratégias para facilitar o acesso à saúde da população idosa. CONCLUSÃO: Foi possível concluir que a equipe da Atenção Primária precisa identificar as principais dificuldades de acesso de sua população idosa, realizando investigação, implementação e avaliação das medidas realizadas, de forma a perceber se essas foram eficazes dentro daquela população, buscando a facilitação do acesso e garantindo princípios como equidade, universalidade e integralidade

Cuidado Integral: aconselhamento para o sucesso do aleitamento materno

INTRODUCTION: Breast milk is the complete food for the baby, it is recommended by the WHO (World Health Organization) that it be offered exclusively up to 6 months for the child and suggests that it be offered up to two years of age for the child. OBJECTIVES: To highlight the importance of counseling for successful breastfeeding METHODS: Integrative review, based on the question: "What is the importance of counseling for successful breastfeeding?" through articles in Portuguese and English, published in the period from 2018 to 2023, originating from the databases MEDLINE, BDENF- Enfermagem, LILACS. Data collection was carried out in August 2023 RESULTS: The sample consisted of 9 articles, which denoted a nucleus: Challenges faced during the period of breastfeeding CONCLUSION: It is understood that there should be greater concern during the prenatal and postpartum period regarding the counseling of the breastfeeding process, the health professional should instruct the mother, giving the necessary information about breastfeeding and the difficulties faced.INTRODUÇÃO: O leite materno é o alimento completo para o bebê, é recomendado pela OMS (organização Mundial de Saúde), que ele seja ofertado exclusivamente até os 6 meses para a criança, e sugere que seja oferecido até os dois anos de idade para a criança. OBJETIVOS: Evidenciar a importância do aconselhamento para o sucesso do aleitamento materno. MÉTODOS: Revisão integrativa, realizada com base na pergunta norteadora: "Qual a importância do aconselhamento no sucesso do aleitamento materno?”, através de artigos em língua portuguesa e inglesa, publicados no período de 2018 a 2023, originados das bases de dados MEDLINE, BDENF-Enfermagem, LILACS. Realizou-se a coleta de dados em agosto de 2023 RESULTADOS: A amostra foi constituída por 9 artigos, que denotaram um núcleo: Desafios enfrentados durante o período de aleitamento materno. CONCLUSÃO: Entende-se que, deve haver uma maior preocupação durante o pré-natal e puerpério quanto ao aconselhamento do processo de aleitamento materno, o profissional de saúde deve instruir a mãe, dando as devidas informações sobre a amamentação e as dificuldades enfrentadas

IMPACTOS DO APOIO FAMILIAR FRENTE A GESTAÇÃO NA ADOLESCÊNCIA

OBJECTIVES:  To elucidate the impacts caused by family support during adolescent pregnancy. METHODS: The present work consists of an integrative literature review, using the PICO strategy, with “p” population: pregnant adolescents, “I” Evaluation of the influence of family support through a teenage pregnancy, the “C” and “O” Context: impact of family support during the pregnancy of a teenager. The filter used for the searches was with the descriptors; (Teenage pregnancy) AND (Family Support) AND (Prenatal care). RESULTS: The final sample consisted of 7 studies that resulted in three topics for discussion: Failures in the professional approach during prenatal care; Importance of professional encouragement for the presence of the support network during prenatal consultations; Adolescents' feelings and difficulties due to the absence of family support. CONCLUSION:It was possible to conclude that family support has a great influence on the care of the adolescent during pregnancy, being a source of emotional and financial support, as well as in daily activities, taking into account the need for this family to be aware of the care that the pregnant women need to take to continue the pregnancy in the healthiest way possible.OBJETIVO: Elucidar os impactos causados pelo apoio familiar durante a gestação da adolescente. RESULTADOS: A amostra final foi constituída por 7 estudos que resultaram em dois tópicos para discussão: Falhas na abordagem profissional durante a atenção pré-natal; Sentimentos e dificuldade das adolescentes mediante a ausência do apoio familiar. CONCLUSÃO: Foi possível concluir que o apoio familiar tem uma grande influência no cuidado da adolescente no momento da gestação, sendo uma fonte de apoio emocional, financeira, tal qual nas atividades diárias, levando em consideração a necessidade desta família estar ciente dos cuidados que a gestante precisa tomar para dá continuidade a gestação da forma mais saudável possível

MANEJO DA RESSUSCITAÇÃO CARDIOPULMONAR NO NEONATO

INTRODUÇÃO: A ressucitação cardiopulmonar (RCP) neonatal é a aplicação de manobras que dever ser executada de forma eficaz quando diagnósticado a PCR, visando promover o aporte sanguineno apropriado para o cerebro e orgão vitais, sendo realizado o a frequencia e profunidade das compressões toracicas de forma que melhore a perfusão cardiaca e cerebral, que deve ser iniciada após a detecção precoce. OBJETIVOS: evidenciar as práticas de manejo da ressuscitação cardiopulmonar neonatal. MÉTODOS: Revisão integrativa, realizada com base na pergunta norteadora: " Qual o manejo para a ressucitação cardiopulmonar em neonatos?”, através de artigos em língua portuguesa e inglesa, publicados no período de 2018 a 2023, originados das bases de dados MEDLINE, SciELO, BDENF-Enfermagem, LILACS. Realizou-se a coleta de dados em agosto de 2023. RESULTADOS: A amostra foi constituída por 8 artigos, que denotaram um núcleo: Atuação da equipe na sala de parto no manejo da ressuscitação cardiopulmonar em neonatos. CONCLUSÃO: As manobras de RCP, trouxe a percepção a importância dos profissionais em se atualizar, aumentando sua bagagem de conhecimento técnico-científico, a fim de proporcionar assistência adequada à RNs e suas famílias, para que, assim, alcance resultado eficaz em tempo reduzido, e promovendo a redução de complicações decorrentes a PCR

Pervasive gaps in Amazonian ecological research

Biodiversity loss is one of the main challenges of our time,1,2 and attempts to address it require a clear un derstanding of how ecological communities respond to environmental change across time and space.3,4 While the increasing availability of global databases on ecological communities has advanced our knowledge of biodiversity sensitivity to environmental changes,5–7 vast areas of the tropics remain understudied.8–11 In the American tropics, Amazonia stands out as the world’s most diverse rainforest and the primary source of Neotropical biodiversity,12 but it remains among the least known forests in America and is often underrepre sented in biodiversity databases.13–15 To worsen this situation, human-induced modifications16,17 may elim inate pieces of the Amazon’s biodiversity puzzle before we can use them to understand how ecological com munities are responding. To increase generalization and applicability of biodiversity knowledge,18,19 it is thus crucial to reduce biases in ecological research, particularly in regions projected to face the most pronounced environmental changes. We integrate ecological community metadata of 7,694 sampling sites for multiple or ganism groups in a machine learning model framework to map the research probability across the Brazilian Amazonia, while identifying the region’s vulnerability to environmental change. 15%–18% of the most ne glected areas in ecological research are expected to experience severe climate or land use changes by 2050.
