Dynamical Insights into the Decomposition of 1,2-Dioxetane

Chemiluminescence in 1,2-dioxetane occurs through a thermally activated decomposition reaction into two formaldehyde molecules. Both ground-state and nonadiabatic dynamics (including singlet excited states) of the decomposition reaction have been simulated, starting from the first O-O bond-breaking transition structure. The ground-state dissociation occurs between t = 30 fs and t = 140 fs. The so-called entropic trap leads to frustrated dissociations, postponing the decomposition reaction. Specific geometrical conditions are necessary for the trajectories to escape from the entropic trap and for dissociation to be possible. The singlet excited states participate as well in the trapping of the molecule: dissociation including the nonadiabatic transitions to singlet excited states now occurs from t = 30 fs to t = 250 fs and later. Specific regions of the seam of the S0/S1 conical intersections that would "retain" the molecule for longer on the excited state have been identified

Desde el año 2005, y a partir de un proyecto I+D que trataba de indagar sobre la construcción de identidades desde el punto de vista de género en los más pequeños a través de la actividad artística, desarrollamos una metodología educativa que, a través de la investigación-acción y el método comparativo constante de la investigación fundamentada de Glasser y Strauss, nos permitió ir revisando y ampliando nuestras acciones en el ámbito educativo tanto formal como no formal. Comenzamos utilizando una metodología basada en la pedagogía crítica que tomaba al objeto cultural como eje de acción educativa y aunaba conocimiento histórico, conexión con la cultura visual, análisis contextual, deconstrucción hegemónica y proceso creador como motor de acción y desarrollo personal y comunitario. Palabras clave: metodologías feministas, educación artística, creación, género y museos

Inmigración extranjera en el País Vasco. Estrategias políticas para la gestión de la diversidad

The Autonomous Community of the Basque Country has experienced an important growth of inflows and settlements of foreign population in the last years. This affirmation, applicable to any of the Spanish autonomies, acquires certain singularity in case of the Basque Country. The minor inflows of foreign immigration that the indexes of other autonomous communities, the composition for nationalities and the institutional and social response to a phenomenon that, in spite of being important, does not reach the levels of other autonomous communities, are the features that they characterize to the Autonomous Basque Community as for foreign immigration. Nevertheless there exist indications that force to interrogate by the new role that might play the Basque Country as host society of an immigration that can perceive other Spanish communities as saturated. The attitudes of the Basque society and the wide set of integration policies might collaborate to directing good part of the wide internal mobility of the foreigners to Basque lands. The article will expose the demographic situation of the foreign population in the Basque Country, as well as the political and social response of the Basque society, and it will finish with a question on the immediate future of these answers, dice the changes that are taking place in the immigration and that soon might take place according to the analyzed indicators.La Comunidad Autónoma del País Vasco ha experimentado un crecimiento importante de afluencias y asentamientos de población extranjera en los últimos años. Esta afirmación, aplicable a cualquiera de las autonomías españolas, adquiere ciertos tintes de singularidad en el caso del País Vasco. La menor afluencia de inmigración extranjera, la composición por nacionalidades y la respuesta institucional y social ante un fenómeno que, con ser importante, no alcanza los niveles de otras comunidades autónomas son los rasgos que caracterizan a la Comunidad Autónoma Vasca en materia de inmigración extranjera. Sin embargo existen indicios que obligan a interrogarse por el nuevo papel que, en un futuro próximo, podría desempeñar el País Vasco como sociedad receptora de una inmigración que puede percibir como saturados otros espacios y municipios españoles. Las actitudes de la sociedad vasca y un amplio despliegue de políticas de integración podrían coadyuvar a dirigir buena parte de la amplia movilidad interna de los extranjeros hacia tierras vascas. El artículo expondrá la situación demográfica de la extranjería en el País Vasco, así como la respuesta política y social de la sociedad vasca, para finalizar con un interrogante sobre el futuro inmediato de estas respuestas ante los cambios que se están produciendo en el fenómeno inmigratorio y los que pudieran producirse próximamente según los indicios analizados
