VII millennium pottery sequence at Tell Halula : new lights focused on stratigraphical and chronological aspects of sector 30
This paper presents the detailed analysis of the ceramic material of sector 30 of Tell Halula (Euphrates valley, Syria), dated from the first half of VII millennium BC. With the aim of characterizing first pottery productions in relation to the architecture and thus contribute to the stratigraphic and chronological precisions of the recovered surface
Technological approach to ceramic manufacture in the Pre-Halaf in Tell Halula (Syria)
The main objective of this paper is to approach for the first time the technological solutions associated with the first ceramic production from the Pre-Halaf culture (VII millennium cal BC) in the Tell Halula settlement (Syria). The set is analysed from a new methodological perspective, prioritizing the aspects related with the manufacturing processes of the pottery vessels

Investigation into the preservation of lipids in pottery samples from Tell Halula (Syria) using the acidified methanol extraction and GC-MS
(Tell Halula)Preservation ratios on organic residue analysis studies on the oldest pottery of the Middle East fall below 15%. Given these percentages, the aims of this small research are to conduct a pilot test that evaluates the appropriateness of the acid extraction on samples from a Pre-Halaf site (Tell Halula)

II Workshop on Late Neolithic Ceramics in Ancient Mesopotamia : pottery in context
The work presented is the depth study of ceramic assemblage from the prehalaf horizon arqueological site of Tell Halula, in the middle Euphrates River valley (Syria). The aim of the study is to provide data on the technological, morphological and typological characteristics, of the body of knowledge of the site. These data will allow to infer interpretations of socioeconòmics, in the debate on the changes that occur between the Horizon pre-ceramic neolithic and neolithic ceramic. The thesis examines wich whas the technology used, determines the source of production (local or imported), locate the sources of supply of raw materials and their mineralogical characterization. To propose an operational chain. Establishes a catalog of forms and categories. Studies the different types of pottery from the shapes and decorations and participates in the debate on the timing of this material (artifact) in the context of the eastern neolithic agricultural and livestock practice well established at the beginning of the seventh millennium Cal BC and where it occurs. That is, if it is a localized phenomena in one place or geographical area or if it is part of a polygenic phenomenon of macro regional scope
