    Mestrado em Ensino de MúsicaO presente Relatório Final da componente de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do Mestrado em Ensino de Música está estruturado em duas partes. A primeira parte apresenta o Projeto Educativo, que se foca no ensino e aprendizagem da notação musical melódica tonal, e inclui os resultados da pesquisa e reflexão acerca do Método Edgar Willems, em confronto com alguns princípios da psicologia da educação musical atual. Este projeto foi motivado pela necessidade de sistematizar o ensino do solfejo e notação tonal no sistema fixo no contexto do Ensino Especializado de Música em Portugal, e pretende fundamentar a pertinência do Método Edgar Willems, promovendo também algumas adaptações do mesmo. A segunda parte é constituída pelo Relatório de Estágio realizado no ano letivo 2016/2017 no Conservatório de Música Calouste Gulbenkian de Aveiro, nas turmas de 9º e 6º ano de Formação Musical.The present Final Report of the Supervised Teaching Practice component of the Master’s Degree in Music Education is divided into two sections. The first presents the Educative Project, which focuses on the teaching and learning of tonal music notation and includes the results of a research and reflection on Willems Music Teaching System in relation with some principles of today’s music education psychology. This project was motivated by the necessity of systematizing the teaching of solmization and tonal notation in the fixed system in the specialized music teaching in Portugal. It also tries to substantiate the relevance of Willems Music Teaching System, adapting it in some ways to the reality of today’s education.     Lecithin-based nanocapsule loading sucupira (Pterodon emarginatus) oil effects in experimental mucositis

    Intestinal mucositis (IM) is a frequent adverse effect in anticancer therapy without standard treatment. The oil obtained from sucupira (Pterodon emarginatus) has anti-inflammatory properties, and the soybean lecithin re­ duces the intestinal toxicity of several xenobiotics. However, their water insolubility impairs the in vivo appli­ cation. For this reason, we evaluated if the nanoencapsulation of sucupira oil (SO) in lecithin-based nanocapsules (SO-NC) could be a therapeutically effective system for the treatment of IM in murine cisplatin (CDDP)-induced intestinal mucositis model. SO was analyzed by LC-HRMS/MS and HPLC. SO-NC was prepared by nano­ precipitation and characterized using DLS, HPLC, and AFM. Mice body weight and food consumption were assessed daily during experimental mucositis induced by CDDP. The animals were euthanized, and intestinal permeability, inflammatory mediators, and intestinal histology were performed. SO-NC demonstrated adequate characteristics for oral administration as size under 300 nm, IP < 0.3, high EE, and spherical shape. In vitro cytotoxicity performed against RAW 264.7 cell lines resulted in cell viability above 80 % confirming the non- cytotoxic profile of SO (IC50 268 µg/mL) and SO-NC (IC50 118.5 µg/mL) up to 117.2 µg/mL. The untreated mice showed intestinal toxicity after i.p. of CDDP, principally weight loss, increased intestinal permeability, and MPO and TNF-α levels. Surprisingly, the administration of SO to CDDP-mucositis animals did not circumvent the CDDP effects and increased intestinal permeability. However, SO-NC proved efficient in mitigating the experi­ mental intestinal mucositis by improving intestinal epithelium architecture, reducing intestinal permeability, and improving the MPO levels. In conclusion, SO-NC can positively impact intestinal mucositis by promoting mucosal recovery. This is a promising strategy for developing a new treatment for intestinal mucositis

    Este artigo propõe-se a estudar as práticas clínicas exercidas pelos profissionais 'psi' (psicólogos e psiquiatras) junto aos Centros de Atenção Psicossocial de uma região do Rio Grande do Sul, buscando verificar em que medida tais práticas vêm contribuindo para a qualificação profissional destes atores e para a potencialização do processo da reforma psiquiátrica brasileira. Sustentado metodologicamente na pesquisa-intervenção, o trabalho explorou as possibilidades crítico-criativas das práticas operadas na rede de saúde mental, buscando desnaturalizar funcionamentos herdados do modelo hospitalocêntrico de internação e exclusão. Mapeadas as principais temáticas contidas em situações consideradas críticas do cotidiano de trabalho daquele grupo, três grandes categorias analíticas emergiram: Modelo de Gestão, Relações de Equipe e, a categoria focada em especial nesse artigo, das Práticas Clínicas.     Management practices for postdural puncture headache in obstetrics: a prospective, international, cohort study

We aimed to describe management practices and outcomes after PDPH treated by epidural blood patch (EBP) or no EBP. Methods: Following ethics committee approval, patients who developed PDPH after accidental dural puncture were recruited from participating countries and divided into two groups, those receiving EBP or no EBP. Data registered included patient and procedure characteristics, headache symptoms and intensity, management practices, and complications. Follow-up was at 3 months. Results: A total of 1001 patients from 24 countries were included, of which 647 (64.6%) received an EBP and 354 (35.4%) did not receive an EBP (no-EBP). Higher initial headache intensity was associated with greater use of EBP, odds ratio 1.29 (95% confidence interval 1.19–1.41) per pain intensity unit increase. Headache intensity declined sharply at 4 h after EBP and 127 (19.3%) patients received a second EBP. On average, no or mild headache (numeric rating score≤3) was observed 7 days after diagnosis. Intracranial bleeding was diagnosed in three patients (0.46%), and backache, headache, and analgesic use were more common at 3 months in the EBP group. Conclusions: Management practices vary between countries, but EBP was more often used in patients with greater initial headache intensity. EBP reduced headache intensity quickly, but about 20% of patients needed a second EBP. After 7 days, most patients had no or mild headache.     Brazilian Flora 2020: Leveraging the power of a collaborative scientific network

    International audienceThe shortage of reliable primary taxonomic data limits the description of biological taxa and the understanding of biodiversity patterns and processes, complicating biogeographical, ecological, and evolutionary studies. This deficit creates a significant taxonomic impediment to biodiversity research and conservation planning. The taxonomic impediment and the biodiversity crisis are widely recognized, highlighting the urgent need for reliable taxonomic data. Over the past decade, numerous countries worldwide have devoted considerable effort to Target 1 of the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation (GSPC), which called for the preparation of a working list of all known plant species by 2010 and an online world Flora by 2020. Brazil is a megadiverse country, home to more of the world's known plant species than any other country. Despite that, Flora Brasiliensis, concluded in 1906, was the last comprehensive treatment of the Brazilian flora. The lack of accurate estimates of the number of species of algae, fungi, and plants occurring in Brazil contributes to the prevailing taxonomic impediment and delays progress towards the GSPC targets. Over the past 12 years, a legion of taxonomists motivated to meet Target 1 of the GSPC, worked together to gather and integrate knowledge on the algal, plant, and fungal diversity of Brazil. Overall, a team of about 980 taxonomists joined efforts in a highly collaborative project that used cybertaxonomy to prepare an updated Flora of Brazil, showing the power of scientific collaboration to reach ambitious goals. This paper presents an overview of the Brazilian Flora 2020 and provides taxonomic and spatial updates on the algae, fungi, and plants found in one of the world's most biodiverse countries. We further identify collection gaps and summarize future goals that extend beyond 2020. Our results show that Brazil is home to 46,975 native species of algae, fungi, and plants, of which 19,669 are endemic to the country. The data compiled to date suggests that the Atlantic Rainforest might be the most diverse Brazilian domain for all plant groups except gymnosperms, which are most diverse in the Amazon. However, scientific knowledge of Brazilian diversity is still unequally distributed, with the Atlantic Rainforest and the Cerrado being the most intensively sampled and studied biomes in the country. In times of “scientific reductionism”, with botanical and mycological sciences suffering pervasive depreciation in recent decades, the first online Flora of Brazil 2020 significantly enhanced the quality and quantity of taxonomic data available for algae, fungi, and plants from Brazil.
