Uma análise das orações concessivocondicionais do espanhol escrito sob a perspectiva da gramática discursivofuncional
IX Congresso Brasileiro de Hispanistas realizado nos dias 22 a 25 agosto 2016Este trabalho investiga, à luz da Gramática DiscursivoFuncional (HENGEVELD e MACKENZIE,
2008), as orações denominadas pela tradição linguística de concessivocondicionais introduzidas por
incluso si em dados do espanhol peninsular escrito, com a hipótese de que não existe o hibridismo
proposto para esse tipo de oração. Autores como Flamenco García (1999), Neves (1999) e
Rodríguez Rosique (2012) acreditam que essas estruturas são híbridas, localizandose entre a
concessão e a condição, o que significaria, portanto, que essas orações contêm propriedades das
duas categorias. Assim, na oração “Incluso si se lo pedimos por escrito, no nos lo devolverá”
(FLAMENCO GARCÍA, 1999, p. 3842), a oração introduzida por incluso si compartilha com as
concessivas a característica de apresentar um possível obstáculo (pedir por escrito) que não chega a
impedir o que está expresso na oração principal (ele não nos devolverá); já com as condicionais,
essas estruturas compartilham a característica de apresentarem um evento hipotético (podemos
pedir algo por escrito ou não). Como ainda não há ainda estudos que contrariem a existência do
hibridismo nos tipos de orações propostas, este trabalho demonstra, por meio dos pressupostos da
GDF, que incluso si não corresponde a uma conjunção complexa concessivocondicional, mas sim a
uma estrutura condicional enfatizada. O universo de investigação é embasado no corpus CREA. A
importância desta pesquisa consiste em contribuir para os estudos descritivos do espanhol escrito e
testar o modelo da GDF, contribuindo para seu avanço.UNILA-UNIOEST
The status of textile-based dry EEG electrodes
Electroencephalogram (EEG) is the biopotential recording of electrical signals generated by brain activity. It is useful for monitoring sleep quality and alertness, clinical applications, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with epilepsy, disease of Parkinson and other neurological disorders, as well as continuous monitoring of tiredness/ alertness in the field. We provide a review of textile-based EEG. Most of the developed textile-based EEGs remain on shelves only as published research results due to a limitation of flexibility, stickability, and washability, although the respective authors of the works reported that signals were obtained comparable to standard EEG. In addition, nearly all published works were not quantitatively compared and contrasted with conventional wet electrodes to prove feasibility for the actual application. This scenario would probably continue to give a publication credit, but does not add to the growth of the specific field, unless otherwise new integration approaches and new conductive polymer composites are evolved to make the application of textile-based EEG happen for bio-potential monitoring

Surface modification of polyester using chicken feather keratin hydrolysate to improve water absorbency and dye uptake
PET fiber has an intrinsic low hydrophilic character and an inactive surface which make it
uncomfortable for wearing purpose. Moreover, it is difficult to colour polyester fabric other
than disperse dyes. Therefore, surface modification of PET is very important to improve its
absorbency and bring the possibility to dye polyester with anionic dyes by altering its surface
characteristics. This research was focused on surface modification of polyester using chicken
feather which involves serine as the most abundant amino acid with hydroxyl groups. The
treated polyester fabric using 20ml/L concentration of chicken feather extract showed
improved water drop absorbency from 45 into 3 seconds and the reactive dye uptake by 36
folds from 0.15 to 5.37 K/S values
Analysis of Synchronous Machine Excitation Systems: Comparative Study
This paper presents the comparison and performance
evaluation of synchronous machine excitation models. The two
models, DC1A and AC4A, are among the IEEE standardized model
structures for representing the wide variety of synchronous machine
excitation systems. The performance evaluation of these models is
done using SIMULINK simulation software. The simulation results
obtained using transient analysis show that the DC1A excitation
system is more reliable and stable than AC4A excitation system
