A healthy and fit soul is one of each individual's essential needs in order to interact with the environment and construct a better future. Since the beginning of 2019, the COVID-19 outbreak has spread rapidly worldwide. It has raised concerns and had negative consequences for soul and mental health. This is a serious problem for both individuals and society as a whole. This research tries to describe how mental and mental diseases were treated and dealt with during and after the COVID-19 pandemic from the perspective of the Qur'an and Sunnah as divine Revelations. Islam, being a religion concerned with the wellbeing of the ummah, has provided a teaching principle on how to manage and deal with various soul and mental diseases. This approach is one of the best alternatives that is expected to have a significant impact on achieving a healthy soul in the face of long-term pandemic challenges and conjectures. There are several methods promoted by Islam in treating soul and mental disorders, including; always maintain personal hygiene through taharah, reading or listening of the Quran, practicing halal and healthy eating, taubat (repentance) and istighfar, patience and fasting

An Accurate Classification Method of Harmonic Signals in Power Distribution System by Utilising S-Transform

    Get PDF
This paper presents an accurate classification method of harmonic signal in power distribution system by using S-transform (ST).  ST has a capability of representing signals in jointly time-frequency domain and known as time frequency representation (TFR). The spectral parameters are estimated from TFR in order to identify the characteristics and to classify the harmonic signals. The classification of harmonic signals with the utilization of pattern recognition approach which is rule-based classifier of 100 unique signals is according to the IEEE standard 519:2014. The accuracy of the proposed method is determined by using MAPE and the results proved that the method provides high accuracy of harmonic signal classification. Additionally, S-transform also gives 100 percent correct classification of harmonic signals. It is proven that the proposed method is accurate in detecting and classifying harmonic signals in the distribution system.

TORQUE HYSTERESIS CONTROLLER FOR BRUSHLESS DC MOTOR DRIVES

The presence of the commutator and brushes in a dc machine enforce severe limitations on its voltage and current ratings, means that the output power capability of a dc machine is restricted. The mechanical commutator in a dc machine limits its high speed capabilities. Both the brushes and commutator of a dc machine require regular maintenance. In addition, dc machines are prone to sparking and cannot be normally used in explosive atmosphere. The dust produced by brush wear, makes the dc machine undesirable for use in certain industries like the semiconductor or food industries. Thus, to overcome this problem BLDC machine is proposed due to its advantages over the conventional dc machine. The torque hysteresis controller is presented as the technique chosen to control the phase current and torque of the BLDC machine. This method used to replace the voltage control in BLDC machine. Voltage control is conventional methods used but have a very high current overshoot, by using torque hysteresis controller it will provide current protection which is the value of current and torque will stay within certain limits around with reference valu

Direct Torque Control of BLDC Motor with Constant Switching Frequency

Direct torque control (DTC) has become a popular technique for brushless motor control because it provides fast dynamic torque response. Hysteresis band control is the most popular techniques used in the DTC BLDC motor drive caused the simplest technique. However the conventional DTC have problems as switching frequency that varies with operating conditions and high torque ripple. This paper presents direct torque control (DTC) of BLDC motor with constant switching frequency torque controller. The torque ripple will get reduced by this method constant switching frequency operation. The feasibility of this method in minimizing the torque ripple is verified through some simulation results

Identification of Genetic Diversity among Mutant Taro (Colocasia esculenta L. cv WANGI) Using Agro-Morphological Trait and Simple Sequence Repeats (SSR) Molecular Markers

Taro (Colocasia esculenta) is one of the traditional crops with enormous sources of dietary fiber, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals contents. Mutation breeding using gamma radiation is one of the most preferred approaches used to induce mutation in taro studies. Molecular markers are widely used to detect such induced mutation and genetic diversity in plants. Therefore, the present study was carried out to evaluate genetic diversity among irradiated taro genotypes in comparison with standard taro variety by using simple sequence repeats (SSR). A total of 200 of M1V4 taro genotypes were used in this study derived from segregating population of chronic-gamma irradiated taro cv Wangi with different ranges of gamma dose. The agro-morphological results revealed that genotype exposure in T6 (120.12 Gy) has the highest plant height (54.53 cm), leaf length (32.24 cm), and leaf width (24.87 cm). Corm's weight was decreased significantly with an increased dose of treatment. All mutants recorded a lower number of corm weight as compared with the control genotype. Out of 10 SSR primers tested, 9 primers have successfully amplified 43 amplicons. The polymorphism information content (PIC) values of SSR markers ranged from 0.20 to 0.80. Cluster analysis classified taro into 3 subgroups mutant and parent genotypes. The results clearly showed that SSR markers are important tools to distinguish mutant genotypes and confirmed their usefulness for phylogenetic studies. Finally, the present investigation indicated that genotypes exposed by T6 (120.12 Gy) are promising high-yielding genotypes that can be recommended as new cultivars and possessed an attractive phenotype appropriate for ornamental use

Current Applicable DNA Markers for Marker Assisted Breeding in Rice (<em>Oryza sativa</em> L.)

Rice, (Oryza sativa L.) account as the second cereal most cultivated in the world. Unfortunately, global rice production is rendered by significant number abiotic and biotic stresses. Breeding for resistant variety through conventional breeding is an economical method; generally, it takes at least 10 years to release a new rice variety. Advance technology in molecular marker had revolutionized and irreversibly changes the disciplines of plant genetic and breeding. Integration of DNA-based markers in selection process enhances the effectiveness and accuracy of conventional plant breeding. It offers a novel tool for discovering and tagging alleles and genes specifically in plant. Ubiquitous of DNA marker-trait associations for diverse crops species are available with the findings of many quantitative trait loci (QTLs) mapping studies. The linkage drags, and time-consuming in conventional breeding can minimize with the application of DNA markers in plant breeding. The utilization of DNA marker in QTL mapping, MAS and gene pyramiding has been investigated. In this chapter, we discussed the recent utilizing markers in rice breeding program against abiotic and biotic stresses. In a few decades, molecular marker assisted breeding (MAB) provide a boundless task for breeders in attaining an important impact on crop development

Cutting Stock Problem has been used in many industries like paper, glass, wood and etc. Cutting Stock Problem has helped industries to reduce trim loss and at the same time meets the customer’s requirement. The purpose of this paper is to develop a new approach which is Cuckoo Search Algorithm in Cutting Stock Problem. Cutting Stock Problem with Linear Programming based method has been improved down the years to the point that it reaches limitation that it cannot achieve a reasonable time in searching for solution. Therefore, many researchers have to turn to metaheuristic algorithms as a solution to the problem which also makes these algorithms become famous. Cuckoo Search Algorithm is selected because it is a new algorithm and outperforms many algorithms. Hence, this paper intends to experiment the performance of Cuckoo Search in Cutting Stock Problem
