    One of the prominent parts in learning is mathematics, then geometry is one of the scopes of mathematics taught in secondary schools and is needed to solve mathematical problems faced by students. In high school, mathematics learning conduct a huge practical application of theory before applying the concept. The purpose of this study was to analyze the gap between the concept definition and the concept image of students on the quadrilateral material in terms of students' mathematical abilities. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a hermeneutic phenomenology approach. The focus of this research is the 60 students grade 7th of Junior High School. Taking the students who were interviewed was done after dividing the group by looking at the results of the last semester's exam and categorizing students' answers from the test results. Interviews were conducted by exploring the student's concept image and then analyzing the levels of the student's concept image and analyzing the gap that occurred. Based on the analysis of tests and interviews, the students tend to have a high mathematical ability have good concept image that fits the concept definition in term they rewrite it in own words but have not been able to build proof of the properties of a quadrilateral. Furthermore, the students who have low mathematical abilities, and students with moderate mathematical ability have bad concept image that far from concept definition in term have not been able to fully explain the formal definition and just write a properties of each quadrilateral

    Students learn mathematics through practical applications without applying it. Consequently, the concept images and definitions that students offer do not match. This study examines the gap in mathematical ability between the concept images of professionals in mathematics education and students' concept images of content, including quadrilaterals. This study employed a qualitative approach with a hermeneutic phenomenology method. Sixty-two seventh-grade students were involved in conducting this study. Some instruments, such as quadrilateral-related tests and semi-structured interview questions, were used to collect the data. The results of quadrilateral-related tests and interviews revealed that most students with high mathematical ability, some with medium mathematical ability, and a small number with low mathematical ability have a concept image that matches the definition but cannot produce proof of the properties of a quadrilateral. In addition, a small number of students with high mathematical talents, some with medium mathematical abilities, and a large number of students with low mathematical abilities were unable to completely explain each rectangle's formal definition and properties. This indicates that there are some students whose concept image is low. So, several alternatives and effective mathematics learning should be implemented to facilitate students in enhancing students concept image.

    Peredaran Kosmetik Tanpa Izin Edar Dalam Perspektif Maslahah (Studi Pada Pedagang Kosmetik di Pasar Maricaya Kota Makassar)

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1. untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran peredaran kosmetik tanpa izin di Pasar Maricaya. 2. untuk menganalisis tinjauan maslahah terhadap kosmetik tanpa izin. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan fenomenologi dan pendekatan yuridis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi langkah-langkah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Informan terdiri atas penjual, pembeli, distributor produk. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat 77 (tujuh puluh tujuh) produk kosmetik  berbahaya itu mengandung zat berbahaya seperti Merkuri, Hidrokinon, Asam Retinoat, zat warna merah K.3 (C1 15585), Merah K.10 (Rhhodamin B) dan Jingga K.1 (C1 12075). Dan itu terdiri atas 3 jenis yakni 27 (dua puluh tujuh) kosmetik rias wajah, 6 (enam) pewarna rambut, dan 44 (empat puluh empat) perawatan kulit. Dalam tinjauan maslahah ada beberapa yang tidak terpenuhi dalam masalahah misalnya yang pertama aspek  daruriyyah, maksud dari maslahah ini adalah pemenuhan kebutuhan pokok, jika kebutuhan ini tidak dipenuhi maka akan membahayakan orang tersebut. Kedua kebutuhan hajiyyat, jadi yang dimaksud adalah pemenuhan kebutuhan yang sifatnya sekunder, dimana jika hal ini tidak dapat dipenuhi tidak akan membahayakan orang tersebut, melainkan akan menimbulkan kesulitan baginya. Ketiga kebutuhan tahsiniyah yang dimaksud adalah komplementer bagi manusia, kebutuhan ini hanya sebagai pelengkap dan penyempurna saja, jika tidak dapat dipenuhi tidak akan membahayakan dan menyulitkan manusia

    Mathematics is an instrument for solving problems in life. So, ability to solve mathematical problems is one of the most important skills. Practitioners of education do different approaches to develop the mathematical problemsolving ability of students. Efforts have been made such as an attractive learning model and providing external motivation. Most students, however, were unable to finish and prepare to solve mathematical problems in daily life. This is due to the belief that mathematics is not linked with life, anxiety in solving non-routine problems, and feelings of complacency that contribute to low motivation for students. The aim of this research is to gain an overview of the mathematical problemsolving skills of students in terms of students' mathematical dispositions. This research method is qualitative with a case study approach and this research was carried out on 35 grade XI students from a high school in the district of Indragiri Hulu. This research showed that students with high mathematical dispositions were able to apply indicators of problemsolving steps well, students with moderate mathematical dispositions were not able to properly apply indicators of mathematical problemsolving steps, and students with low mathematical dispositions found it difficult to understand the given mathematical problems. So, we concluded that students with good mathematical dispositions can well apply indicators of mathematical problemsolving step
