    The application of the concept of Total Quality Management (TQM) is expected to be able to assist companies in responding to consumer needs in the future. This research aims to see the mediating effect of Total Quality Management on Entrepreneurial Orientation with Firm Performance. To support this theory, this study takes data from the furniture company PT Kayan Jaya Tanjung, Surabaya. This study was analyzed using the partial least square method by using 78 workers at PT Kayan Jaya Tanjung with a minimum level of manager. Respondents were drawn based on two branch factories, namely PT Kayan Jaya Tanjung I and PT Kayan Jaya Tanjung II. The results of this study indicate that the company can gather its human resources (TQM) to formulate a proactive strategy to anticipate future customer demand (EO) so that companies can maintain the quality of their products (firm performance). This study shows that applying the concept of TQM with a good entrepreneurial orientation will form a sustainable strategy to achieve a competitive advantage for company performance.     The Role of Soft Total Quality Management Towards Operational Performance at PT Sier

    Every firm needs to adapt in the global business environment so that can still sustain in the midst of intense competition. One of the tools that can be used is using soft Total Quality Management (TQM). The purpose of this research is to analyse the role of soft TQM implementation towards operational performance at PT Surabaya Industrial Estate Rungkut (SIER). The variables that are used are soft TQM elements, that is, top management commitment, continuous improvement, training and education, customer focus, process management, workforce management, and supplier relationship. This research uses quantitative method through questionnaire. The population in this research are PT SIER employees with the level of position as an officer from logistics, SIER strategic business unit, and supporting service division. The sampling technique that is used is proportional stratified random sampling that then results the total sample of 72 people. Data is analysed using SEM-PLS method with SmartPLS 3 software. Based on the results of the research can be concluded that from all elements of soft TQM only top management commitment, customer focus, and supplier relationship that are found have positive and significant effect towards operational performance at PT SIER.     Resource Based View (RBV) is used to identify problems faced by SMEs. Based on the results of SWOT analysis, it can be seen that SMEs have six problems. These problems include: limited human resources, lack of advanced technology, not having enough knowledge about the target market, not having a good enough SMES management systems, competitor competition, and price from suppliers that fluctuate. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Entrepreneurial Marketing on Innovative Performance. This study uses questionnaire as a research instrument for 35 respondents, SMEs who sell snacks in Surabaya city.     The purpose of this study is to define customer preferences for housing, especially customers who belong to the Full Nest 1 group in a family’s life cycle. The subject examined in this study focuses on the interior design and architecture industry in Surabaya, East Java. As a result of COVID-19, there has been a massive impact on the development sector which affected these industries. This is because both industries relied on face-to-face interactions to function. However, after the application of new regulations as a response to the pandemic, several changes are to be made regarding client interaction and project management. The effect of large-scale social distancing has affected operations, and caused a shift in customer’s preferences. This study uses a quantitative approach, in which changes in customer preferences are obtained through interviews with relevant sources in order to narrow down prioritized factors. The data is then processed through factor analysis, and is distributed as a survey to 30 respondents representing the Surabaya region. The data collection process of this research is carried out with a ranking scale and processed using the Conjoint analysis to understand the current priorities of customers in response to the pandemic

    A trend to a heatlhier lifestyle triggers a shift in consumer’s behavior to consume healthy foods and to avoids any preservatives. Several companies in Indonesia began to contribute to this trend including UD Maju Jaya who also contributing onto this trend by producing products called premium sekoteng AROMA. The problem occured when the company experienced a sales decline as 93,4% in traditional market distribution channel and 39,4% in modern distribution channel because the product itself did not show the element of a packaging that could attract consumers to purchase since a brand personality from a packaging itself should form a bond on consumer’s thoughts and feelings unto the brand. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the effect of packaging elements through brand personality on premium sekoteng AROMA. This study uses a quantitative approach. In this study, data collection was done by distributing questionnaires using a purposive sampling technique with the conditions as the population must be B2B consumers who had purchased and consumed premium sekoteng AROMA.
