    Matter wave soliton bouncer

Dynamics of a matter wave soliton bouncing on the reflecting surface (atomic mirror) under the effect of gravity has been studied by analytical and numerical means. The analytical description is based on the variational approach. Resonant oscillations of the soliton's center of mass and width, induced by appropriate modulation of the atomic scattering length and the slope of the linear potential are analyzed. In numerical experiments we observe the Fermi type acceleration of the soliton when the vertical position of the reflecting surface is periodically varied in time. Analytical predictions are compared with the results of numerical simulations of the Gross-Pitaevskii equation and qualitative agreement between them is found.Comment: 8 pages, 5 figure

Studi Komparasi Prestasi Belajar Siswa Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Two Stay Two Stray (Tsts) dengan Numbered Heads Together (Nht) pada Pokok Bahasan Struktur Atom dan Sistem Periodik Unsur di Kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Dayun

The research about comparing cooperative learning models types Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) with Numbered Head Together (NHT) has been done to improve student\u27s achievement on learning topic Atomic structure and periodic systems of elements at class X SMAN 2 Dayun. This research aimed to find out student\u27s achievement the better one between cooperative learning models types Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) with Numbered Head Together (NHT) on learning topic of Atomic structure and periodic systems of elements by comparing these two models. This was a quasi experimental research with pretest-posttest design. Population on this research ware all classes X in SMAN 2 Dayun consisting of four classes. The subject of this research ware X4 as the experimental class of TSTS and X2 as the experimental class of NHT, which were determined randomly after conducting normality and homogeneity test. The data analysis to test the hypothesis was using two tail t-test. Based on the data analysis, it is obtained that tcount = 4,271 and ttable = 2,00 with α = 0,05, dk = 53. tcount ≥ ttable 4,271≥ 2,00. It means there are significant differences between the student\u27s achievement by using cooperative learning model type Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) with the student\u27s achievement by using cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Together (NHT) on the learning topic of Atomic structure and periodic systems of elements in SMAN 2 Dayun

Beaconless Packet Forwarding Approach for Vehicular Urban Environment

Existing wireless technologies provide communication and information services to all fields of life. The one of the emerging and popular field is vehicular ad hoc networks, with its unique characteristics and highly mobile environment. Different types of routing protocols have been proposed to address the routing issues in network and one of the most efficient types is geographical routing. In this type of protocols, the beacon messages are using to update the node locations and positions. However, these protoocls have been suffered with high channel congestion issue in the network. To this end, we propose a beaconless packet forwarding strategy based on modified handshake messages mechanism. The protocol uses some realistic metrics to select the next forwarder node such as forward progresss and link quality. The protocol performance is evaluated with existing beacon and beaconless geographical routing protocols. The simulation results showed the better performance of the proposed protocol in terms of packet delay and data delivery ratio in realistic wireless channel conditions

In this paper, we presented a possible front surface optical enhancement of Si solar cell by optimizing the Antireflection (AR) and light trapping (LT) schemes. Conventional plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) and in house hot wire chemical vapor deposition (HWCVD) tool was used to deposit Silicon Nitride (SiNX) layer and optimized at 668nm wavelength. This was followed by surface texturing of random pyramids to further enhance the broadband reflectance of the front surface. Broadband reflectance measurement using integrating sphere method showed achieved weighted average reflectance (WAR) value of as low as 1.8% and 1.5%, when 85nm SiNX was deposited on top of random pyramids structure using HWCVD and PECVD methods, respectively

This study aims to determine how much influence superiors support, clarity of purpose and training on the implementation of regional financial accounting systems in the work unit of Bengkalis regency. The type of data from this study is quantitative descriptive using primary and secondary data. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study are the influence of organizational behavioral factors with a percentage value of 0.677 or 67.7% and the remaining 32.3% is influenced by other variables, namely the Regional Supervision Agency, internal control system, and organizational culture. This research is the latest research in Bengkalis Regency and can be a reference for further research

    Management of Complicated Colonic Diverticulosis

Prevalence of diverticular disease has been increasing worldwide in concert with the development of industrial era and the alteration of diet pattern to low dietary fiber. Mean age of patients is 60 years; peak incidence at age more than 50 years, 20% less than 50 years, 2-8% less than 40 years. About 50 - 90% of diverticular disease are left-sided especially sigmoid, while in Asian people are mostly right sided. The usual complaint of patient is abdominal pain. Complications that may occur due to diverticulosis are diverticulitis, abscess, fistula, obstruction and bleeding. The presence of complicated diverticulosis can be evaluated by plain X-rays, CT-scan, barium with contrast, ultrasonography and colonoscopy in addition of laboratory examination. The management of complicated diverticulosis usually consists of combination of medical therapy and surgery. Proper and immediate treatment will influence the prognosis of patients
