Economía conductual, principios generales e implicaciones

    Get PDF

This paper presents a theoretical description, from the relational perspective of one of the competitive advantage decisive elements: shared knowledge routines (Dyer & Singh, 1998), which are considered critical in achieving relational rents, and some elements are reviewed; aimed at understanding their development. The role of leadership understood as the deliberate exercise of influence to achieve goals (Huxham & Vangen, 2000), in this case, sharing knowledge is also described. The types and characteristics of leadership that can emerge specifically in the transfer process and sharing of inter-organizational knowledge are also proposed. From the recommendations of Cox, Pearce & Sims (2011) and Uhl-Bien & Marion (2008). Finally the implications and perspectives of this work are indicated for research in the field. With permanents global changes, organizations are increasingly required to promote employee creative behavior to deal with competitiveness keeping ethical leadership practices and responsible models of management. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of ethical leadership on creativity and estimates the mediating effect of organizational support for creativity in this relationship. A cross-sectional approach with a sample of 258 professionals, employees of different companies and economic sectors in the city of Lima, Peru, was employed. Valid and reliable instruments were used to assess the perception of the variables studied, and direct and indirect effects were tested using structural equation models. The results indicate that ethical leadership positively influences creativity both directly and through organizational support for creativity. This draws attention to the opportunity that leaders have to optimize organizational processes, procedures, and protocols oriented toward responsibility and respect for others to encourage creative behavior in employees. Furthermore, theoretical, and practical implications are discussed

Teachers’ Responsiveness to Students’ Needs in Solving Mathematical Problems Under Modular Distance Modality

This qualitative study explored teachers’ responsiveness to students' needs in learning mathematical problem-solving under Printed Modular Distance (PMDL) modality. Mathematics teachers’ responsiveness refers to awareness and disposition to attend to and provide an appropriate response based on students' needs. The participants of this study were 20 teachers, comprised of both junior high school and senior high school teachers, who are teaching in two (2) of the public schools in Imus City, Cavite, and Antipolo City, Rizal, respectively. The participants were purposively selected since they handled mathematics subjects under the PMDL modality for the school year 2021-2022. For the data analysis, the audio record, as well as the field notes, were transcribed into words and then examined by looking for indications of categories and different codes. It was concluded that despite the challenges in the new modality, teachers continue to respond and find ways to address the needs of students and that their awareness guides them on how they respond to and address these needs of the students in solving mathematical problems under modular distance learning. These findings were used as a basis for crafting an action plan to better support teachers in implementing responsive instructions to students under modular distance learning

Zebrafish Bioassay-guided Microfractionation for the Rapid in vivo Identification of Pharmacologically Active Natural Products

The rapid acquisition of structural and bioactivity information on natural products (NPs) at the sub- milligram scale is key for performing efficient bioactivity-guided isolations. Zebrafish offer the possibility of rapid in vivo bioactivity analysis of small molecules at the microgram scale – an attractive feature when combined with high-resolution fractionation technologies and analytical methods such as UHPLC-TOF-MS and microflow NMR. Numerous biomedically relevant assays are now available in zebrafish, encompassing most indication areas. Zebrafish also provide the possibility to screen bioactive compounds for potential hepato-, cardio-, and neurotoxicities at a very early stage in the drug discovery process. Here we describe two strategies using zebrafish bioassays for the high-resolution in vivo bioactivity profiling of medicinal plants, using either a one-step or a two-step procedure for active compound isolation directly into 96-well plates. The analysis of the microfractions by microflow NMR in combination with UHPLC-TOF-MS of the extract enables the rapid dereplication of compounds and an estimation of their microgram quantities for zebrafish bioassays. Both the one-step and the two-step isolation procedures enable a rapid estimation of the bioactive potential of NPs directly from crude extracts. In summary, we present an in vivo , microgram-scale NP discovery platform combining zebrafish bioassays with microscale analytics to identify, isolate and evaluate pharmacologically active NPs
