The Rokan Hulu District Government seeks to recreate a participatory RT and RW organization that is mobilized by the community itself. With this regional regulation, the Rokan Hulu government tries to create democracy in the smallest scope of neighborhoods of RT and RW while providing legitimacy to the elected head of RT and RW. This research intends to examine the issues of Performance RT 06 / RW 03 Desa Rambah Jaya from the point of view, the implementation of supervision and evaluation. This study aims to determine the implementation of Village Head supervision on the performance of RT 06 / RW 03 Village Rambah Jaya District Bangun Purba Rokan Hulu District. In addition, this study aims to determine the factors that affect the implementation of supervision of Village Head on Performance RT 06 / RW 03 Village Rambah Jaya District Bangun Purba Rokan Hulu District. This research uses the supervision theory by Dharma Setiawan Salam. The type of research used is descriptive research with qualitative approach. Methods of data collection is done by interview, observation and documentation. The results of this study showed that the Head of Rambah Jaya Village conducted Intensive Communication, Head of Rambah Jaya Village conducted supervision in the form of accountability and Head of Rambah Jaya Village conducted supervision in Democratic Participatory Creation and Head of Rambah Jaya Village to conduct transparency supervision. The factors influencing the implementation of Village Head supervision on the performance of RT 06 / RW 03 Rambah Jaya Village is the Resource Factor, the absence of regulations / regulation from the Village Government related to the Village Head's supervision on RT / RW Performance and Member Errors /deviations RT 06 / RW 03 requires supervision from Rambah Jaya Village Head

Analysis of damage and fracture formulations in cold extrusion

In forming processes, components generally undergo large deformations. This induces the evolution of damage, which can influence material and product properties. To capture these effects, a continuum damage mechanics (CDM) model, based on the work of Lemaitre [8] and Soyarslan [13, 14] as well as different fracture criteria according to Cockcroft and Latham [2], Freudenthal [4] and Oyane [10] are implemented and in- vestigated. While the CDM theory considers the evolution of damage and the associated softening, fracture criteria do not affect the results of the mechanical finite element (FE) analysis. However, a coupling is generally possible via element deletion, but material softening cannot be depicted in the simulation. Tensile tests with notched specimens are performed in order to obtain the material parameters associated with these models by inverse parameter identification processes. The optimized set of parameters is finally ap- plied to the damage and fracture models used for the FE simulations of a cold extrusion process, which are investigated in terms of damage evolution and material failure. It is demonstrated that the CDM model predicts the evolution of damage observed for differ- ent process parameters in cold extrusion quantitatively. The prediction of the failure by the fracture criteria does not agree well with the experiments

Unlicensed mining (PETI) is a serious problem, so the supervision of Unlicensed Mining (PETI) in Cerenti Sub-district requires the integration of resources or involving many parties in Cerenti Sub-district, especially the sub-district government apparatus. Various methods have been undertaken in the supervision of Unlicensed Mining (PETI) by Cerenti District Integrated Team. The problems of this research are (1) What is the capability of the sub-district government apparatus in the supervision of Unlicensed Mining (PETI) in Cerenti Sub-district Kuantan Singingi District? The purpose of this research are (1) to know the capability of sub-district government apparatus in supervision of Unlicensed Mining (PETI) in Cerenti Sub-district Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research method is qualitative research method with phenomenology approach. The conclusion of this research mentioned that the implementation of supervision of Unlicensed Mining (PETI) in Cerenti District is not yet maximal, but the implementation of Unsecured Mining (PETI) supervision has been in accordance with the Decision Letter of Regent Number 13 Year 2013 regarding the establishment of Integrated Team. However, the lack of follow-up done by the kecamatan is due to the absence of special budget and other supporting training which can assist in the implementation of Unsecured Mining (PETI) supervision in Cerenti Sub-district

The Other of the Other and Unregulated Territories in the Urban Periphery: Gecekondu Violence in the 2000s With a Focus on the Esenler Case, Istanbul

Cataloged from PDF version of article. This article investigates the broader question of collective urban violence in "peripheral" (squatter) neighborhoods in the capitalist semi-periphery. Based upon a specific case, namely, the Karabayr neighborhood in Esenler, Istanbul, it aims to identify the potential sources of conflict and the conditions under which they turn into violence. To achieve this goal, first a review of the changing relationship of peripheral neighborhoods with the state is offered in a historical perspective. Then, the Karabayr neighborhood and the recent violence it experienced are briefly described, based on the information that appeared in the press and the Internet. And this is followed by a discussion of the possible causes of conflict and violence in the context of the changing conditions in the urban periphery in the 2000s. The transformation of peripheral land into commodity, the increasing physical proximity of residential groups due to land scarcity and building density, the asymmetric position of different residential groups with the state, and the unguarded socialization of the youth explain the increasing tendency towards violence in the urban periphery. In this process, the urban periphery emerges as "unregulated territories" that inhabit the "Other of the Other". © 2003 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved
