Ferenczi Sándor jelentősége napjainkban: az életmű értelmezése történeti, elméleti és klinikai szempontból = The relevance of Sándor Ferenczi's life work today: its historical, theoretical and clinical aspects

A kutatás során fontos forráskiadványok (Ferenczi-Freud, Ferenczi-Jones levelezés), továbbá történeti, elméleti és klinikai tanulmányok jelentek meg, összesen csaknem 140 publikáció. A kutatás feltárta Ferenczi Sándor életének, munkásságának tudománytörténeti, kulturális, filozófiai és tudásszociológiai hátterét, megvizsgálva helyét a hazai és a nemzetközi pszichoanalitikus mozgalom kora huszadik századi történetének fordulataiban. A kutatás során áttekintették Ferenczi munkáinak jelentőségét a pszichés traumák megértése és a mai terápiás törekvések, illetve fejlődés-lélektani elméletek és a szelf-elmélet szempontjából is. A projekt résztvevői részletes elemzésekben tárták fel a huszadik századi magyar irodalom és kultúra néhány jelentős alakja (Csáth Géza, Babits Mihály, Füst Milán, Ignotus, Juhász Gyula, József Attila és mások) munkásságának pszichoanalitikus kontextusával. A projektben végzett tevékenységüket összefoglaló, egyben továbbvivő, új perspektívákat nyújtó tanulmánykötetük Typus Budapestiensis. Tanulmányok a pszichoanalízis budapesti iskolájának történetéről és hatásáról címmel jelent meg 2008-ban. | In the framework of the project important sources have been published (the correspondence between Sigmund Freud and Sándor Ferenczi, Ernest Jones and Sándor Ferenczi) furthermore, several historical, theoretical and clinical essays came out, altogether cca. 140 items. The research revealed the background of Sándor Ferenczi?s life and work from the point of view history of science, cultural history, philosophy and sociology of knowledge. The researchers examined in detail Ferenczi's role and position in the basic turns of the history of psychoanalysis in the early 20. century. They also overviewed the significance of Ferenczi's work in the understanding of psychic traumata and from the point of view of modern developmental psychology. and the theories of the self. The participants of the project have been dealing in details with the psychoanalytical context of the work of several important figures of the 20. century Hungarian literature and culture (Géza Csáth, Mihály Babits, Milán Füst, Ignotus, Gyula Juhász, Attila József and others). The researchers summarised the results of the project in a representative volume entitled ?Typus Budapestiensis. Studies on the history and impact of the Budapest school of psychoanalysis? (2008). This volume may open up new perspectives, too
