PEMBUATAN BATIK SHIBORI PADA PENYANDANG DISABILITAS SEBAGAI UPAYA MENDORONG MINAT BERWIRAUSAHA DI DESA SAMBIGEDE

Abstrak: Kondisi ketika seorang manusia dilahirkan memang tidak dapat dikontrol oleh manusia itu sendiri, beberapa diantaranya terlahir dalam kondisi cacat fisik atau mental. Kondisi cacat tersebut mengalami perubahan istilah menjadi penyandang disabilitas. Penyandang disabilitas di Indonesia tergolong cukup tinggi yakni mencapai 22,5 juta jiwa pada tahun 2020, dan umumnya mereka tidak memiliki keterampilan. Oleh sebab itu, mahasiswa MBKM UM menyelenggarakan kegiatan berupa pelatihan batik shibori yang bertujuan untuk menambah keterampilan baru dan membuka peluang wirausaha bagi penyandang disabilitas di Desa Sambigede. Adapun metode pelaksanaan pelatihan ini terdiri pemaparan materi melalui metode ceramah dan demonstrasi mengenai langkah pembuatan batik shibori tersebut. Hasil yang didapatkan dari kegiatan ini  dari adalah masyarakat memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang baru mengenai batik shibori. Tindak lanjut dari program ini adalah menjadikan batik shibori sebagai material baru yang menguntungkan bagi masyarakat di Desa Sambigede sehingga membantu dalam segi perekonomian desa tersebut. Abstract: The condition when a human was born cannot be controlled by theirself, some of that are physical or mental disabilities. The disabled condition has changed the term to become a person with a disability. People with disabilities in Indonesia are quite high, reaching 22.5 million people in 2020, and generally they do not have the skills. Therefore, MBKM UM students held an activity in the form of shibori batik training which aims to add new skills and open entrepreneurial opportunities for people with disabilities in Sambigede Village. The method of implementing this training describes the material through lecture and demonstration methods regarding the steps of making the shibori batik. The result of this activity is that the community has new knowledge and skills about shibori batik. The follow-up of this program is to make shibori batik a new material that is profitable for the people in Sambigede Village so that it helps in the village's economy

Hubungan Konsumsi Tablet Fe, Kunjungan Antenatal, dan Keikutsertaan Kelas Hamil dengan Kejadian Stunting pada Balita

Background: Stunting causes serious problems for the growth, development, and health status of children under five years. Low access to health services increases the risk of children under five years becoming stunted.Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between consumption of Fe tablets, antenatal visits, and participation in pregnant classes with the incidence of stunting in children aged 24-59 months.Methods: This type of research is an observational study with a case-control design. The number of samples was 292 pairs of mothers and children aged 24-59 months. Data collection by interview and measurement. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with chi-square testResults: The results showed that 62.3% of stunted children's mothers consumed Fe tablets, 92.5% of stunted children's mothers attended antenatal visits, and 30.8% of stunted children's mothers attended pregnant classes. There was no significant relationship between consumption of Fe tablets (p=0.050), antenatal visits (p=1,000), and participation in pregnant classes (p=0.384) with stunting in children aged 24-59 months.Conclusion: Consumption of Fe tablets, antenatal visits, and participation in pregnant classes were not associated with stunting in children aged 24-59 months. 

IMPLEMENTASI MODEL LATIHAN TUNGGAL DAN JAMAK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN SMASH BOLAVOLI SISWA EKSTRAKURIKULER BOLAVOLI DI SMAN 16 SURABAYA

Abstrak Latihan termasuk proses yang penting bagi seorang atlet untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan. Dalam mewujudkan suatu perubahan ke arah yang lebih baik perlunya proses latihan dengan menciptakan suatu model latihan yang efektif. Pada aktivitas kegiatan latihan diperlukan model latihan yang beragam sehingga target latihan bisa tercapai. Pelatih memberikan kesempatan peserta ekstrakurikuler untuk mengamati apa yang telah disampaikan dan apa yang diperagakan oleh pelatih. Pelatihan dapat berjalan dengan aktif dan efektif perlu adanya model latihan yang bervariasi agar dapat mencapai ketuntasan latihan, termasuk dengan penerapan model latihan tunggal dan jamak latihan yang dilakukan dan mengkaji secara individu maupun kelompok dengan teman sebayanya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui dan mengkaji seberapa besar pengaruh implementasi model latihan tunggal dan jamak untuk meningkatkan keterampilan smash bolavoli pada siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler bolavoli SMAN 16 Surabaya. Pengambilan data dilaksanakan selama 7 kali pertemuan, yaitu pre-test, 5 kali treatment, dan post-test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) 25. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh penerapan model latihan tunggal dan jamak terhadap smash ekstrakurikurikuler, dibuktikan dengan thitung 9,42 > ttabel 1,721 sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. jadi dapat disimpulan ada perbedaan yang signifikan. Sedangkan besar pengaruh dalam penelitian ini yaitu 16.15%. Kata Kunci: model latihan, smash, bolavoli Abstract Exercise is an important process for athletes to improve their skills. In realizing a change towards a better there need an effective model training. Training activities required a variety of training models so that training targets can be achieved. The trainer gives extracurricular participants the opportunity to observe what has been explained and demonstrated by the trainer. For the training to be actively conducted and effective conducted, there need to be a variety of training models in order to achieve complete training, applying a block and random training models included the trainer explains, demonstrate and practice is carried out individually or in peer groups. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the block practice and random practice training models to volleyball skill smash in participants of volleyball extracurricular act in Senior High School 16 of Surabaya. The data collection was carried out in 7 meeting, namely pre-test, 5 treatment, and post-test. Based on the. Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) 25. Analysis, it can be concluded that there was an effect of applying the block practice and random practice models to word smash skill of volleyball extracurricular participants. Improving Hole Cleaning on High Angle Wells

Poor hole cleaning becomes a serious issue specially when drilling high angle (deviated) wells because, drilled cuttings tend to settle on the lower side of the well bore which may lead to other drilling problems such as suck pipe. By increasing hole cleaning efficiency we will speed up the drilling operations, and therefore, reduce the total cost to drill one well

Character Education Management at Islamic Grassroot Education: The Integration of Local Social and Wisdom Values

This study examined the implementation of character within grassroots Islamic education institutions that integrate local customs values in Palu City, Central Sulawesi. This study explores the strategy of character education implementation at the grassroots Islamic education institutions level and provides insight into the body of knowledge and practitioners. The study was conducted with a qualitative method. The data was gathered through field observation, focus group discussion, in-depth interviews, and written document analysis. In addition, in-depth interviews were conducted with elementary school teachers, parents, and the city Education and Culture Department officials. The findings show that the Palu city Department has implemented the education character program by aligning the character education programs with their vision. Character education programs have also been implemented through the cultured Thursday parade, family involvement through Paguyuban, and students' immersion into local culture and wisdom values. We concluded that implementing education characters within Basic Islamic education institutions had increased early-age students' awareness of tolerance, respect, and mutual understanding of characters based on local culture and wisdom values by Islamic teaching within the city, dominated mainly by immigrants from different ethnic in Indonesia
