Analysis of the quality of services provided by the PALACE spa house

This bachelor thesis analyses the quality of services provided by the Palace Spa with the aim of proposing recommendations that would lead to an improvement in service, an increase in customer satisfaction, a modernization of the accommodation facilities and a better market positioning. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the meaning of quality and describes its importance to the customer. The thesis also discusses the importance of the spa industry and its benefits, the history and current situation of the spa industry in the Czech Republic and the services provided in spa facilities. Methods such as questionnaire survey, competitive analysis and mystery shopping, described in the theoretical part, are then applied to a selected spa house in Františkovy Lázně. Based on the results obtained, recommendations for the enhancement of provided services are proposed to improve the quality and market competitiveness of the establishment.Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu kvality poskytovaných služeb lázeňského domu Palace s cílem navrhnout doporučení, která by vedla ke zlepšení služeb, zvýšené spokojenosti zákazníků, modernizaci ubytovacího zařízení a lepšímu postavení na trhu. V teoretické části práce je definována kvalita a popsán její význam pro zákazníka. Dále se práce zabývá významem lázeňství a jeho přínosy, historií a současností lázeňství v České republice a poskytovanými službami v lázeňských zařízeních. Metody jako dotazníkové šetření, analýza konkurence a mystery shopping uvedené v teoretické části jsou následně aplikovány na vybraný lázeňský dům ve Františkových Lázních. Na základě získaných výsledků jsou navržena doporučení na zlepšení poskytovaných služeb, díky kterým je podnik schopen zvýšit kvalitu a jeho konkurenceschopnost na trhu

Advocacy coalitions in abortion policy

1 Abstrakt Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na identifikaci klíčových situací pro tvorbu interrupčních politik a analýzu koalic v České republice v období let 2012-2022. Zároveň srovnává interrupční politiky sousedních států (Německo, Rakousko, Polsko a Slovensko) s cílem zjistit, zda český politický diskurz konverguje k politikám těchto zemí. Metodologie práce zahrnuje mediální analýzu posledních deseti let za použití NewtonOne, která ukázala posun vnímáni interrupcí a větší zástup pro-choicových aktérů v médiích. Pro dosažení cílů byly provedeny polostrukturované rozhovory s hlavními aktéry identifikovanými během mediální analýzy. Byla zjištěna míra polarizace mezi koalicemi, ale také stabilita a neměnnost těchto koalic. Ani jedna z koalic nemá přílišnou motivaci k legislativním změnám, ovšem mezi oběma koalicemi panuje názor, že je 1) legislativa nastavena dobře a 2) žena má právo rozhodnout si o interrupci. Srovnání interrupčních politik s politikami sousedních zemí ukázalo, že většina sousedních zemí má striktnější přístup k interrupcím, a zatímco Polsko a Slovensko zákony zpřísňují, Německo se směřuje k pomalé liberalizaci. Celkově však nebyla zjištěna konvergence české interrupční politiky k politikám sousedních zemí.1 Abstract This thesis focuses on the identification of key situations of the development of abortion policies and the analysis of coalitions in the Czech Republic in the period 2012-2022. It also compares the abortion policies of neighbouring countries (Germany, Austria, Poland and Slovakia) in order to determine whether the Czech political discourse converges with the policies of these countries. The methodology of the thesis includes a media analysis of the last ten years using NewtonOne, which showed a shift in the perception of abortion and a greater presence of pro-choice actors in the media. To achieve the objectives, semi-structured interviews were conducted with key actors identified during the media analysis. The degree of polarization between coalitions was identified, as well as the stability and immutability of these coalitions. Neither coalition has much motivation for legislative change, but there is a perception among coalitions that 1) the legislation is set up well and 2) women have the right to choose. A comparison of abortion policies with those of neighbouring countries shows that most neighbouring countries have a stricter approach to abortion, and while Poland and Slovakia are tightening laws, Germany is moving towards a slow liberalisation. Towards biosensor for phosphatidylinositol

Phosphatidylinositol is a a minor membrane component of eukaryotic cells, however, it plays a crucial role in cell signaling pathways as a precursor for a number of signaling molecules and second messengers. Among the most significant ones are phosphoinositides created by phosphorylation of the hydroxyl groups of phosphatidylinositol at positions 3,4, and 5 of the inositol ring. Despite its significance, the spatial and temporal distribution and dynamics of phosphatidylinositol remains unclear owing mainly to the lack of a specific optical probe (biosensor) to visualize phosphatidylinositol in living cells. Biosensor for inositol phospholipids are based on lipid-binding domains of their effector proteins with high enough affinity and specificity for a given phosphoinositide - but nosuch domain is known for PI. However, an enzyme - phosphatidylinositol-dependent phospholipase C - that specifically recognizes phosphatidylinositol is known. This enzyme catalyzes the hydrolysis of phosphatidylinositol into diacylglycerol and inositol 1-phosphate and unlike eukaryotic homologs does not act upon the phosphorylated forms of phosphatidylinositol.
