    Complejo administrativo cultural para la dirección regional de educación de Cajamarca

    La Dirección Regional de Educación es una entidad que promueve la participación activa, concertada y sostenida de estado con la sociedad civil, para la consecución de una educación democrática y de calidad, dando prioridad a la escuela pública en la zona rural y urbana, la cual está orientada a la formación de actores sociales con la capacidad de generar mayores condiciones de vida a favor del Desarrollo Humano sostenible. Por tanto, la presente investigación corresponde al desarrollo de la sede principal de esta entidad en la región de Cajamarca ubicada en la ciudad del mismo nombre. A lo largo de los años la ciudad de Cajamarca ha sufrido un crecimiento urbano exponencial, debido a esto como es tendencia en la gran mayoría de ciudades, las actividades urbanas se centralizaron alrededor la plaza de armas, por lo que se tuvieron que reubicar muchas de estas en especial las de carácter administrativo. Producto de esto nació el complejo Gran Qhapac Ñan, el cual es el nuevo centro político administrativo y cultural de la ciudad. La Dirección Regional de Educación de Cajamarca tiene una sede descentralizada y se encuentra adaptada en un local de carácter educativo, especialmente en un instituto técnico. Debido a que el local actual no fue diseñado bajo el concepto de carácter Administrativo se han presentado problemas en el correcto funcionamiento de la institución, la cual posee espacios en donde los trabajadores se encuentran hacinados, no existen circulaciones diferenciadas para los distintos tipos de usuarios y posee deficiencias tanto en infraestructura como en la calidad de servicio y atención al público. Por lo mencionado se plantea la propuesta de un proyecto que dé solución a los principales problemas que posee la actual sede y que cumpla con las necesidades para esta tipología de edificación la cual sea generada con espacios públicos que le permitan a este integrarse con la ciudad y que sobre todo posea una infraestructura adecuada para brindar servicio a la poblaciónThe Regional Directorate of Education is an entity that promotes the active, concerted and sustained participation of the state with civil society, for the achievement of a democratic and quality education, giving priority to public school in rural and urban areas. As over the years the city of Cajamarca has suffered exponential demografic growth, urban activities have been relocated around the main square, especially those of the administrative nature. As a result, the Gran Qhapac Ñan complex was born, which is the new political-administrative and cultural center of the city. The regional education office of Cajamarca has a decentralized headquarters and is adapted in an educational facility, more specifically in a technical institute. Problems have arisen because the current premises were not designed under the concept of an administrative nature, in the proper functioning of the institution. For example, there are no differentiated circulations for the different types of users and It has deficiencies both in infrastructure and in the quality of service and attention to the public. As I mentioned before, the puropose of or our project is to provide a solution to the main problems that the current headquarters has and to discover the needs for this type of building, which is generated with public spaces that allow to integrate with the city and that, above all, it has an adequate infrastructure to provide service to the population.Tesi

    Erupted Complex Odontoma Mimicking a Mandibular Second Molar

    Complex odontoma (CO) is considered one of the most common odontogenic lesions, composed by a miscellaneous of dental tissue such as enamel, dentin, pulp and sometimes cementum. They may interfere with the eruption of an associated tooth, being more prevalent in the posterior mandible. CO has been rarely reported as erupted, being considered an intraosseous lesion. This is a case report of a 17-year-old male with a benign fibro-osseous lesion consistent with CO that was located at the left second molar region, above the crown of the impacted mandibular second molar tooth. The lesion was surgically removed, and the tooth had to be extracted, since there was no indication that it could erupt naturally or with orthodontic traction. The histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of CO and after 6 months complete bone formation was observed radiographically. An early diagnosis will provide a better treatment option, avoiding tooth extraction or a more damaging surgery

    Microinjection of specific anti-IMPDH2 antibodies induces disassembly of cytoplasmic rods/rings that are primarily stationary and stable structures

    Background: Our laboratory previously reported interesting rods 3-10 mu m long and rings 2-5 mu m diameter (RR) in the cytoplasm of mammalian cells. Experimental evidence show that both inosine-5'-monophosphate dehydrogenase 2 (IMPDH2) and cytidine triphosphate synthetase (CTPS) are components of RR structures. Several cell types, including mouse embryonic stem cells, and cell lines, such as mouse 3 T3 and rat NRK, naturally present RR structures, while other cells can present RR when treated with compounds interfering with GTP/CTP biosynthetic pathways. in this study, we aimed to investigate the dynamic behavior of these RR in live cells.Results: RR were detected in > 90% of COS-7 and HeLa cells treated with 1 mM ribavirin or 6-Diazo-5-oxo-L-norleucine (DON) for 24 h, and in 75% of COS-7 cells treated with 1 mM mycophenolic acid (MPA) for the same period of time. Microinjection of affinity-purified anti-IMPDH2 antibodies in live COS-7 cells treated with ribavirin, DON, or MPA showed mature forms of RR presented as stable and stationary structures in 71% of cells. in the remaining 29% of cells, RR acquired erratic movement and progressively disassembled into fragments and disappeared within 10 min. the specific stationary state and antibody-dependent disassembling of RR structures was independently confirmed in COS-7 and HeLa cells transfected with GFP-tagged IMPDH2.Conclusions: This is the first demonstration of disassembly of RR structures upon microinjection of anti-IMPDH2 antibodies that led to the disappearance of the molecular aggregates. the disassembly of RR after microinjection of anti-IMPDH2 antibody further strengthens the notion that IMPDH2 are major building blocks of RR.     En el presente proyecto de titulación se realiza el análisis, diseño, implementación e implantación de un sistema clínico, a través de la metodología de desarrollo de software RUP. El sistema facilita y mejora la gestión de los diferentes servicios que presta la Clínica Bolívar, dicha aplicación está constituida por los módulos de Consulta Externa, Emergencia, Hospitalización, Centro Quirúrgico, Laboratorio Clínico, Botiquín Interno y Administración del sistema. Los capítulos desarrollados están distribuidos de la siguiente manera: el primer capítulo plantea el problema, los objetivos, la justificación y el alcance del proyecto; el segundo capítulo contiene los conceptos, teorías y demás información necesaria que sustenta al trabajo desarrollado; en el tercer capítulo se exponen los diferentes artefactos o entregables relacionados con las disciplinas de análisis y diseño de acuerdo a la metodología RUP; en el cuarto capítulo se muestran los estándares de programación utilizados en el desarrollo, el código relevante y las pruebas realizadas al sistema; finalmente se plantean las conclusiones y recomendaciones al proyecto de titulación, así como, los anexos que permiten complementar la información plasmada en el presente proyecto

The present work is oriented to the design of a model of analysis and optimization of multi-objective localization of distribution centers (warehouses) in the city of Barranquilla and its surrounding area, which allows the optimal location, the analysis and the determination of potential centers, a starting from objectives to be minimized such as costs, distance and security, which directly influence the decision to locate the distribution centers in the city.El creciente aumento del sector industrial en la ciudad de Barranquilla ha traído consigo la necesidad de que las empresas tengan un lugar donde almacenar sus materias primas o productos terminados, los modelos de localización multiobjetivo son un conjunto de procedimientos matemáticos cuya finalidad es buscar soluciones al problema de donde situar centros de servicios, de manera que se optimicen ciertos criterios importantes a la hora de definir la ubicación de estos.     Single-parameter spin-pumping in driven metallic rings with spin-orbit coupling

    We consider the generation of a pure spin-current at zero bias voltage with a single time-dependent potential. To such end we study a device made of a mesoscopic ring connected to electrodes and clarify the interplay between a magnetic flux, spin-orbit coupling, and non-adiabatic driving in the production of a spin and electrical current.     CONTEXTO: Embora seja um problema crescente na população mundial, existem poucos trabalhos publicados sobre o uso de drogas durante a gravidez. OBJETIVOS: Abordar de maneira objetiva as drogas de abuso (álcool, cocaína, maconha e tabaco) mais comumente utilizadas pelas mulheres em idade reprodutiva. MÉTODOS: Foi realizada revisão bibliográfica (MEDLINE, LILACS) dos textos mais recentes abordando o uso de drogas de abuso em mulheres em idade reprodutiva. RESULTADOS: Foram descritas as principais conseqüências da utilização de drogas de abuso, tanto para a mãe quanto para o bebê. CONCLUSÕES: Trata-se de um problema de saúde pública pouco discutido, devendo envolver uma equipe multidisciplinar em sua abordagem. A publicação de mais trabalhos se faz necessária, a fim de se estabelecer a melhor estratégia de intervenção nesta população.BACKGROUND: Despite the fact that it has being a growing problem worldwide, very few works and papers have been published on drug use during pregnancy. OBJECTIVES: To objectively address the most commonly abused drugs (alcohol, cocaine, marijuana, and tobacco) by women of a reproductive age. METHODS: A literature review (MEDLINE, LILACS) of the most recent papers on drug abuse by women of reproductive age was carried out. RESULTS: The primary consequences of drug abuse both for the mother and the infant are described. CONCLUSIONS: This is a little discussed major public health issue which requires the involvement of a multidisciplinary team. The publication of a greater number of papers on the problem is necessary in order to establish the best strategy for addressing intervention in this population
