ANALYSIS OF CULTURAL EXCHANGE BETWEEN RUSSIAN AND FOREIGN STUDENTS

В статье показаны особенности культурного обмена между студентами разных стран. Представлены результаты интервью российских студентов, проходивших обучение за границей, а также иностранцев, получающих образование в России. Выделены культурные практики, преобладающие в молодежной среде, обозначено влияние образовательного процесса на восприятие студентами культуры других стран.The article shows the peculiarities of cultural exchange between students from diff erent countries. The results of interviews were conducted with Russian students who studied abroad, as well as with foreign students receiving education in Russia, are described. The cultural practices prevailing in the student environment are highlighted, and the infl uence of educational institutions on the perception of the country’s culture among students is also indicated

The authors review the book dedicated to Vyacheslav M. Tyutyunnik, father of nobelistics, “Nobelistics as the core method of building value-oriented human consciousness and spiritual projecting of the future” under the international collective authorship. The publication is prepared on the occasion of the 35-th anniversary of Tambov-based International Information Nobel Center.The book structure and contents are characterized in brief. The book comprises two sections: “The main activities of the IINC, its workers and nobelists – associate members – in developing nobelistics” and “Achievements of V. M. Tyutyunnik’s international nobelistics school and his contribution to nobelistics theory, methodology and practice”. The authors characterize V. M. Tyutyunnik as the founder of the evolving science of nobelistics, developer of bioscientometrics theory, and emphasize his role in advocating the international school of nobelistics.Статья содержит обзор книги, посвящённой основателю нобелистики профессору В. М. Тютюннику и подготовленной к 35-летию со дня организации Международного информационного нобелевского центра (МИНЦ). Подчёркнута значимость рассматриваемого издания. Кратко представлены структура книги и содержание каждой из двух её разделов: «Основные направления деятельности МИНЦ, его сотрудников и нобелистов – ассоциативных членов объединения – по формированию нобелистики» и «Достижения международной нобелистической школы профессора В. Students’ Financial Literacy Assessment in the Context of the Transformation of Higher Education

В статье показана специфика образовательного процесса в высших учебных заведениях г. Екатеринбурга в период пандемии. Рассмотрены результаты опроса студентов относительно использования ими финансовых инструментов. Обозначена связь между процессами формирования навыков работы с информацией и овладением финансовой грамотностью в период дистанционной формы обучения.The specifics of the educational process in higher educational institutions of Yekaterinburg during the pandemic are shown in the article. The results of the survey of students regarding their use of financial instruments are considered. The relationship between the processes of developing skills of working with information and mastering financial literacy during distance learning is indicated

Гипертекстуализация библиотечно-информационной образовательной деятельности как условие реализации Федерального государственного образовательного стандарта

Information structuring is seen as an efficient way to develop social communication. The study task is to reveal theoretical and technological background of hypertextualization of library and information educational environment. The substance, functions, structural elements of hypertext and its advantages for social communication are described. Specifications of using hypertext technologies for education are discussed, along with principles of hypertext design and perception via digital academic complex, digital textbooks, digital bibliographies as the multifunctional open subsystems of digital learning materials interrelated structurally and methodologically in the library and information disciplines.The authors analyzee the experience of Belgorod State Institute of Arts and Culture in designing hypertext resource providing the completeness, accessibility and relevance of using information educational resources and information communication technologies in every type of learning activities. These efforts are seen by the faculty as one of the ways to support professional education methodologically.Статья посвящена структурированию информации, гипертекстовому режиму как одному из способов эффективного освоения социальной коммуникации. Цель исследования – раскрытие теоретических и технологических основ гипертекстуализации библиотечно-информационной образовательной среды как условие реализации Федерального государственного образовательного стандарта. Рассмотрены сущность, функции, структурные единицы гипертекста, его преимущества при социальной коммуникации. Обозначены особенности использования гипертекстовых технологий при обучении. Изложены принципы создания и восприятия гипертекстов через электронные учебно-методические комплексы, электронные учебники, электронные библиографические пособия как многофункциональные открытые подсистемы взаимосвязанных в содержательном и методическом отношении электронных учебных материалов по направлению подготовки «Библиотечно-информационная деятельность». Представлена характеристика деятельности профильной кафедры Белгородского государственного института искусств и культуры по разработке гипертекстового ресурса, обеспечивающего полноту, доступность и оперативность использования информационных образовательных ресурсов и информационно-коммуникационных технологий во всех видах учебной деятельности, что направлено на повышение производительности профессиональной деятельности педагога и самостоятельной деятельности обучающегося. Работа по созданию образовательных ресурсов рассматривается преподавателями кафедры как одна из возможностей учебнометодического обеспечения профессионального образования

A global outlook to the interruption of education due to COVID-19 Pandemic: Navigating in a time of uncertainty and crisis

Uncertain times require prompt reflexes to survive and this study is a collaborative reflex to better understand uncertainty and navigate through it. The Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic hit hard and interrupted many dimensions of our lives, particularly education. As a response to interruption of education due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this study is a collaborative reaction that narrates the overall view, reflections from the K12 and higher educational landscape, lessons learned and suggestions from a total of 31 countries across the world with a representation of 62.7% of the whole world population. In addition to the value of each case by country, the synthesis of this research suggests that the current practices can be defined as emergency remote education and this practice is different from planned practices such as distance education, online learning or other derivations. Above all, this study points out how social injustice, inequity and the digital divide have been exacerbated during the pandemic and need unique and targeted measures if they are to be addressed. While there are support communities and mechanisms, parents are overburdened between regular daily/professional duties and emerging educational roles, and all parties are experiencing trauma, psychological pressure and anxiety to various degrees, which necessitates a pedagogy of care, affection and empathy. In terms of educational processes, the interruption of education signifies the importance of openness in education and highlights issues that should be taken into consideration such as using alternative assessment and evaluation methods as well as concerns about surveillance, ethics, and data privacy resulting from nearly exclusive dependency on online solutions

СЛУЧАЙ ТЯЖЕЛОГО ОСЛОЖНЕННОГО ТЕЧЕНИЯ ТЕНИАРИНХОЗА С АТИПИЧНОЙ ЛОКАЛИЗАЦИЕЙ ГЕЛЬМИНТА

Documented case of the clinical observations of the complicatedcourse of beef tapeworm infection (Taenia saginata) have a child 17  years of age. Three years ago, the patient first noticed the active  isolation of the cuttings from the anus. Other clinical symptoms were absent and the disease was latent. At the end of may 2017,  symptoms of an acute abdomen developed and an appendectomy  was performed on 03.06.2017. Diagnosis after surgery: acute  gangrenous perforative appendicitis, periappendicular abscess,  diffuse purulent peritonitis. 07.06.2017 was a single vomiting. In the vomit seen the segments of the flat worm. 09.06.2017,  segments of worms found in the feces. They were identified as  arthropods of Taenia saginata. From 14.06.2017 the patient’s  condition worsened, the temperature increased, there were pains in  the left half of the chest. In the following days the condition remained grave. According to CT (from 19.06.2017) helminth was determined in the  lumen of the left lower salt bronchus. Bronchoscopy was performed  (21.06.2017), which reduced the presence of signs of inflammation  of the left lower salt bronchus. Worms are not detected. Sputum  sowing was performed, but sputum microscopy was not carried out.  Ultrasound (23.06.2017) showed the presence of fluid in the left  pleural cavity. Puncture was performed and 70 ml of serous fluid was obtained. In the future, double-prosodical puncture which was obtained 600 and 500 ml of a yellow viscous exudate. On  29.06.2017, teniid eggs were found in sputum. Praziquantelum is  prescribed 25 mg / kg once. On 04.07.2017, the fourth puncture of  the pleural cavity was performed, 200 ml of light yellow effusion was obtained. In the days following the symptoms of pleurisy had disappeared and 10.07.2018, came recovery. Lung damage, which  developed as a result of aspiration of the arthroplasty Taenia  saginata was accompanied by a  rare dry cough and moderate  severe intoxication syndrome. The severity of the patient’s condition  was determined by severe respiratory failure and pain. Auscultation  of the wheezing was not. Over the lesion was sharply pronounced  weakened breathing. In the peripheral blood was determined by high ESR, moderate leukocytosis and no eosinophilia.Подробно описан клинический случай осложненного течения тениаринхоза (Taenia saginata)  у ребенка 17 лет. Три года назад пациент впервые заметил активное выделение члеников  из анального отверстия. Другие клинические симптомы отсутствовали, и заболевание  протекало латентно. В конце мая 2017 г. развились симптомы острого живота, 03.06.2017 г.  выполнена аппендектомия. Диагноз после операции: острый гангренозный перфоративный  аппендицит, периаппендикулярный абсцесс, диффузный гнойный перитонит. 07.06.2017 г.  была однократная рвота. В рвотных массах замечены членики плоского червя. 09.06.2017 г. членики гельминта обнаружены в фекалиях. Они были идентифицированы как членики  Taenia saginata. С 14.06.2017 г. состояние больного ухудшилось, повысилась температура,  появились боли в левой половине грудной клетки. В последующие дни состояние оставалось тяжелым. По данным КТ (от 19.06.2017 г.) гельминт определялся в просвете левого  нижнедолевого бронха. Выполнена бронхоскопия (21.06.2017 г.), которая установила наличие признаков воспаления левого нижнедолевого бронха. Гельминт не обнаружен. Выполнен посев мокроты, но микроскопия мокроты не проводилась. УЗИ (23.06.2017 г.)  показало наличие жидкости в левой плевральной полости. Проведена пункция, получено 70 мл серозной жидкости. В дальнейшем дважды проводилась пункция, в результате чего было получено 600 и 500 мл желтого вязкого экссудата. 29.06.2017 г. в мокроте были  обнаружены яйца тениид. Назначен Praziquantelum 25 мг/кг однократно. 04.07.2017 г. проведена четвертая пункция плевральной полости, получено 200 мл светло-желтого  выпота. В последующие дни симптомы плеврита исчезли, 10.07.2017 г. наступило выздоровление.  Поражение легких, которое развилось в результате аспирации  членика Taenia saginata, сопровождалось редким сухим кашлем и умерено выраженным  синдромом интоксикации. При этом тяжесть состояния пациента определялась выраженной  дыхательной недостаточностью и болевым синдром. При аускультации хрипов не было. Над  очагом поражения было резко выраженное ослабленное дыхание. В периферической крови  определялась высокая СОЭ при умеренном лейкоцитозе и отсутствии эозинофилии

Plakophilin-3 Is Required for Late Embryonic Amphibian Development, Exhibiting Roles in Ectodermal and Neural Tissues

The p120-catenin family has undergone a significant expansion during the evolution of vertebrates, resulting in varied functions that have yet to be discerned or fully characterized. Likewise, members of the plakophilins, a related catenin subfamily, are found throughout the cell with little known about their functions outside the desmosomal plaque. While the plakophilin-3 (Pkp3) knockout mouse resulted in skin defects, we find larger, including lethal effects following its depletion in Xenopus. Pkp3, unlike some other characterized catenins in amphibians, does not have significant maternal deposits of mRNA. However, during embryogenesis, two Pkp3 protein products whose temporal expression is partially complimentary become expressed. Only the smaller of these products is found in adult Xenopus tissues, with an expression pattern exhibiting distinctions as well as overlaps with those observed in mammalian studies. We determined that Xenopus Pkp3 depletion causes a skin fragility phenotype in keeping with the mouse knockout, but more novel, Xenopus tailbud embryos are hyposensitive to touch even in embryos lacking outward discernable phenotypes, and we additionally resolved disruptions in certain peripheral neural structures, altered establishment and migration of neural crest, and defects in ectodermal multiciliated cells. The use of two distinct morpholinos, as well as rescue approaches, indicated the specificity of these effects. Our results point to the requirement of Pkp3 in amphibian embryogenesis, with functional roles in a number of tissue types

TRANSFORMATION OF THE WESTERN EUROPEAN CULTURE STYLE: THE OLD ORDER – THE NEW ORDER – MODERNITY

The main purpose of this article is to uncover ideas about the transformation of the style of culture in the history of development of Western Europe. The article examines the main features of the Old Order and the New Order in the context of the lifestyle and style of thinking, existing as implicit and explicit tendencies of the present. The author emphasizes that the transformation of the style of Western European culture (from the XVIII to XXI centuries) follows the logic: the Old Order - the New Order - the present in various forms of manifestation of a given style. Order here appears as an ordered complex of interrelated sociocultural elements due to the uniqueness of the style characteristics of cultural and historical eras, and the appeal to the original, unique processes that are the lifestyle and style of human thinking allow us to come closer to understanding the essence of the whole culture style. The old order in the article is defined as an integral, unique, self-sufficient cultural epoch of the XVIII century. in Western European history, formed at the junction of feudalism and capitalism, the content of which is presented in a unity of unique phenomena inherent in it: the style of thinking and style of life. During this period, the system of values and way of thinking, closely connected with the traditional organization of society, basic customs, way of life, in contrast to the emerging new social relations-the New Order, manifested in the spread of the bourgeois system of values, the new liberal-democratic ideology, legal system, civil society and secular worldview. The author believes that despite the changes in the modern world (in the 20th and 21st centuries) fragments of the Old Order and the New Order find their own refraction in it
