    Applying Important Performance Analysis for Jabodetabek Commuter Train Services

    People's mobility in the Greater Jakarta area requires effective and efficient transportation services. At present, many modes of transportation are competing to improve the quality of services to the users, which include the commuter trains that are managed by PT. Kereta  Commuter Indonesia (PT. KCI). Research is needed to determine the level of services provided by PT. KCI. Here, the researcher analyzes the effectiveness of the services of the Jabodetabek commuter train of Bogor - Tanah Abang route, especially the services at Bogor and Manggarai stations as well as on the train. The research was carried out through a questionnaire survey that produced primary data. The secondary data was obtained from PT. KCI for further processing. The method used is the validity, reliability, Importance Performance Analysis, and Normality testing by using SPSS software. The results of the research shows that PT. KCI needs to increase the number of toilets at Bogor Station, to add the first-aid kits at Bogor and Manggarai Station, to increase the number of waiting chairs at Manggarai Station, to add stairs for platforms whose height are not the same as the train floor at Manggarai Station, and to improve the performance of security officers and the awareness of the users about the use of priority passengers seats.

    Impact of traffic congestion on road users in Tangerang City

    One of the negative impacts of transportation problems is congestion. Traffic congestion in urban areas is gradually becoming an important social and economic problem that needs to be addressed. Tangerang City is one of the supporting cities for the Jakarta metropolitan area as well as an area with a significant increase in population and vehicles, resulting in an increase in the number of people's movements or mobility in order to meet the needs of life. Meanwhile, the length of roads in Tangerang City during 2018-2019 did not increase and it is possible that there will be an imbalance between movement and available road capacity or minimal accessibility. The research approach used is quantitative with primary data sources obtained from closed questionnaire instruments from 180 road user respondents at the TangCity Mall intersection, Tangerang City. Analysis of the data used is a structural equation model with the AMOS 22.00 program to determine the factors that influence the impact of congestion. The results of the analysis show that the factors that most influence the impact of congestion are decreased concentration and loss of energy during traffic jams, which are more common in men who are married at the age of over 35 years, with a diploma level of education, as well as the type of work as a Civil Servant

    Analysis of the selection of land transportation modes in Serang City

    The role of urban transportation is vast in supporting the mobility of city residents because, after all, urban people need city transportation, and most community groups depend on city transportation to meet their mobility needs. Along with the development of the era of online application-based transit, they are becoming newcomers as a service that makes it easier for people to carry out travel mobility, such as online motorcycle taxis. This study aims to determine the mode selection model between city transportation and online motorcycle in Serang City. The research approach is quantitative, with primary data sources obtained from distributing closed questionnaires to 43 city transportation travelers and 57 respondents to online motorcycle drivers. The data analysis used is the difference binomial logit model to determine the probability model of the traveler in choosing the mode. The results of modeling the choice of the way with the difference in binomial logit results in city transportation having the opportunity/probability of being chosen by travelers in Serang City at 45.64% while the probability/chance of selecting an online motorcycle is 54.36%

    Analysis of passenger service satisfaction of public transport in Tangerang City

    With the presence of public transport “Si Benteng,” we hope that it could fulfill the needs of public transport in Tangerang City, and also decrease the traffic in the city. The purpose of this research is to know the quality of public transport “Si Benteng” in Tangerang City and an effort to increase the quality and passenger satisfaction of public transport “Si Benteng”. The respondent of this research is the people of Tangerang City with an average age of 17 to 60 years old with a total of 215 respondents by conducting a direct survey, by distributing questionnaires to public transport users of “Si Benteng”. The method of this research is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). From the results obtained, the most dominant public transport user of “Si Benteng” is women with an average age of 17-35 years old and 35-55 years old of the users has at least finished high school, and their occupation of them mostly consist of a general employee with an income and outcome of > Rp 3.000.000,- a month. At the same time, the direct influence of service quality on passenger satisfaction is 0.867, and passenger satisfaction on passenger loyalty is 1.283. It can be concluded that passenger satisfaction has the greatest influence on passenger loyalty. The quality of service that needs to be improved is that passengers do not have to wait long for the arrival of “Si Benteng” public transportation, Availability of shelter facilities, and the distance to the shelter is too far. The conclusion of this research is the result of the hypothesis that service quality has a positive and significant to passenger satisfaction and passenger satisfaction has a positive and significant to passenger loyalt

    PERAN PERKERETAAPIAN DALAM MENUNJANG SISTEM LOGISTIK NASIONAL

    Abstract Indonesia is faced with an increasingly high level of international and interregional competition. This competition has shifted from competition between products and companies to competition between logistics networks and supply chains. The logistics process is basically directed to optimize production factors, namely to optimize the costs, time, and quality. The Government of the Republic of Indonesia plans to build 3,250 km of new railway lines during the 5 year administration, in the 2014-2019 period, by constructing the Trans Sumatra, Trans Sulawesi, and Trans Papua railway lines, as well as the double track railway lines in Java. Because rail transport is a mass transportation mode, it is hoped that this railway transportation can reduce national logistics costs. Therefore, railway infrastructure and facilities need to be developed, especially for transporting passengers and goods. Keywords: logistics network, supply chain, rail transportation, national logistics costs  Abstrak Indonesia dihadapkan pada tingkat persaingan antarnegara dan antarregional yang semakin tinggi. Proses logistik pada dasarnya diarahkan untuk mengoptimalkan faktor produksi, yaitu untuk melakukan optimasi terhadap biaya, waktu, dan kualitas.     Jurnal ini disusun dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari pengembangan infrastruktur perkeretaapian terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional dan regional. Data yang diolah meliputi data asset perkeretaapian, anggaran pembangunan perkeretaapian, pendapatan penumpang dan barang, biaya pegawai dan Indeks Harga Konsumen (IHK). Data yang dipergunakan adalah data panel dari 10 provinsi di Pulau Jawa dan Pulau Sumatera untuk tahun 2000 sampai dengan 2015. Dalam analisis ekonometrika dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan postif antara variabel anggaran pembangunan, aset perkeretaapian, pendapatan, biaya pegawai dan IHK terhadap Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB)

    THEORY OF PLANNED BEHAVIOR APPLICATION ON MOTORCYCLE RIDER SAFETY BEHAVIOR

    In Indonesia, the basis for implementing road safety consists of five pillars which are compiled in the General National Road Safety Plan (RUNK). One of the pillars proclaimed is the behavior of safe road users. This aims as an effort to reduce traffic accidents because road users are the biggest factor in road accidents related to user behavior. The cases of road traffic accidents in Indonesia are dominated by motorcyclists, especially Jakarta, which is one of the cities with a fairly high rate of motorcycle accidents. Because the behavior of road users is closely related to traffic accidents, and also motorcyclists are the users who are involved in the highest traffic accidents, this study explains the factors that determine the safety behavior of motorcyclists in Jakarta. The application of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) is used as a basis for finding the factors that may determine the behavior of the motorcyclist. Furthermore, the research approach used in this study is quantitative with primary data in the form of a closed questionnaire instrument from 230 respondents who ride motorcycles in Jakarta. The data analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach using the AMOS 22.00 program as a tool in determining the determinants of driver safety behavior. The results of the analysis show that the most dominant direct predictor in determining the safety behavior of motorcyclists in Jakarta is the intention to behave safely. While the indirect factor that determines is the attitude of the driver. The results of the analysis also show that the age of the driver has a significant influence on safety behavior

    Traffic Accident Model Reviewed from The Factors of Driving Behaviour of Surabaya-Gempol Toll Road

    The development of road capacity is not in line with the development of the population and the increase in the number of vehicles. This has become a classic problem of transportation in the big cities of Indonesia, including in East Java Province. The existence of road capacity in accommodating vehicles must be resolved. One way to accommodate the number of vehicles is through the toll road. But comfortable conditions of the toll road can cause accidents. One factor causing this is the driver's behavior factors, as the toll road is a freeway, they tend to drive carelessly. On the other hand, high planning standards make the difference between toll roads and ordinary highways. Yet barrier-free road does not mean that the traffic accident problem can be resolved properly. This study aims to determine how significant is the influence of driver behavior factor in causing accidents. The methodology is done by analyzing the data using statistical methods. Based on the accident data obtained, a mathematical model with multiple linear regression analysis is made. The model connects the number of traffic accidents on the Surabaya-Gempol toll road with the number of accidents caused by driver factors. The results showed that the factors causing the accident were caused by less anticipated driver factors, carelessness, drowsiness, drunkenness, distance, etcetera. This variable has a significant effect on traffic accidents at Surabaya-Gempol Toll Road by 54%

    Kecelakaan lalu lintas di jalan tol Purbaleunyi terus berulang, khususnya ruas tol Jati Luhur Itc. - Padalarang Barat (Km 84 s.d Km 120+500) yang mengakibatkan banyak korban. Timbul pertanyaan faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi terjadi nya kecelakaan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui penyebab, karakteristik, biaya kecelakaan dan memberikan rekomendasi manajemen risiko keselamatan jalan untuk mengurangi kecelakaan pada lokasi Blackspot. Penelitian ini berdasarkan hasil survei lapangan, penggalian informasi para pihak terkait dan data kecelakaan 10 tahun terakhir (tahun 2012 - Juni 2021) sumber Representative Office 3, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk. Analisis data menggunakan metode AEK, BKA dan UCL untuk menentukan lokasi rawan kecelakaan. Analisa data untuk mencari keterkaitan antar variabel berpengaruh dengan metode analisis regresi linear berganda program komputer SPSS. Menghitung kerugian akibat kecelakaan metode The Gross Output (Human Capital). Hasil penelitian untuk lokasi Blackspot di ruas Jati Luhur Itc. - Padalarang Barat pada jalur A dan jalur B terdapat 13 lokasi. Kecelakaan tunggal dominan kecelakaan sendiri dan kecelakaan ganda adalah tabrakan depan-belakang. Jenis kendaraan yang banyak terlibat adalah non golongan I (mini bus, truk berat/tronton dan medium truk). Waktu kejadian dominan terjadi pukul (00.00-06.00) dan (18.00 - 24.00), pada hari kerja dan cuaca cerah. Faktor penyebab utama adalah manusia yaitu mengantuk dan kurang antisipasi pengemudi dan faktor kendaraan ban pecah. Besaran biaya kecelakaan dari tahun 2012 s.d. Juni 2021 adalah Rp 182.574.325.950. Manajemen resiko penanganan lokasi Blackspot melalui penegakan hukum terhadap tindak pidana lalu lintas, memasang alat pengendali kecepatan, memasang perambuan, pengecekan kelayakan kondisi kendaraan dan membuat jalur penyelamat

    This study aims to determine the service level of the Surabaya - Sidoarjo commuter train which is part of the transportation service in the Gerbang Kertasusila area. Surabaya is the second-largest city in Indonesia as the center of regional government for East Java and is the center of activity for all sectors in the region. The high population density and the high value of land in Surabaya have resulted in people choosing to live in Gerbang Kertasusila areas, namely Gresik, Bangkalan, Kertosono, Surabaya, Sidoarjo, and Lamongan (Gerbang Kertasusila). This resulted in the high movement of commuters from the buffer area for activities in downtown Surabaya. In this study, the analysis was carried out regarding the Minister of Transportation Regulation number 63 the year 2019 concerning Minimum Service Standards for Passenger Train Transportation. The research methodology used is Importance Performance Analysis by distributing questionnaires to commuter train users across Surabaya - Sidoarjo to find out people's opinions about train transportation services operated by PT. Kereta Api Indonesia. The results of the study can identify the level of service at the station and on the train, both those that are a priority to be improved and those that must be maintained
