    EXAMINING THE FORMATION OF ATTITUDINAL, CONATIVE, AND BEHAVIOURAL LOYALTY: AN EMPIRICAL ANALYSIS IN THE HOTEL INDUSTRY

    This study examines the dimensional structure of the brand loyalty construct in the hotel industry context. Following recent developments in loyalty studies, brand loyalty is proposed as a three-dimensional construct consisting of attitudinal loyalty, conative loyalty, and behavioural loyalty. In addition to directly affecting behavioural loyalty, attitudinal loyalty influences behavioural loyalty indirectly through conative loyalty. This conceptualisation is supported by the statistical analysis and provides an improved of the brand loyalty construct compared to the existing conceptualisations, such as fourstage, three-stage, and two-stage brand loyalty models. This study provides an important contribution in extending an understanding of the complex structure of brand loyalty, especially in a hotel industry context

    AN EXAMINATION OF THE STRUCTURE AND DETERMINANTS OF BRANDS LOYALTY ACROSS HOTEL BRAND ORIGIN

    This study reports an assessment of brand loyalty across the origin of the brand in the hotel industry. This study endeavours to extend recent advances in services marketing theory on brand loyalty to the international and domestic brand level of analysis. Brand loyalty is proposed to consist of three dimensions (attitudinal loyalty, conative loyalty and behavioural loyalty) with service quality, perceived value, customer satisfaction, and brand image as its determinants. The results, drawn from sample of four-star hotels, support the proposed brand loyalty model across international and domestic hotels. Service quality, perceived value, and customer satisfaction are important antecedents of brand loyalty though brand image has a strengthening role in these three loyalty determinants in both international and domestic hotels. Overall, the effects of these determinants on brand loyalty differ between international and domestic hotels

    This study was conducted to examine the factors that affect earnings management practices are firm size, profitability, leverage, public ownership, changes in stock prices and business risks. Grouping between grading company and not grading using Index to Financial Sector Public Company by the number of samples are 38 companies. Statistical analysis used is multivariate testing, using logistic regression analysis using backward stepwise method enter and to determine the factors that significantly affect the practice of income smoothing. The results of logistic regression analysis using both methods to five independent variables are supposed to influence the practice of income smoothing, there are three variables that significantly affect income smoothing practices are firm size, NPM and business risks.Conclusion that in this study ROA, leverage, public ownership and changes in the stock price does not significantly affect the income smoothing practices. As for the variable size of the company, NPM and business risk significantly affect the income smoothing practices

    Loyalty Model for Ethnic Restaurants: The Role of Quality and Value

    Recent research discusses the need for a better understanding of customer perceptions about ethnic restaurant attributes such as qualities and values in influencing the process of customer loyalty and ethnic restaurant competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the importance of quality and value in influencing loyalty in ethnic restaurants. The sample in this study are 210 respondents who visit ethnic restaurants twice in the past month. Data are collected using questionnaire survey which was done in around Bandung Raya. The analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Model with Partial Least Square. The results showed that the quality of ethnic restaurants such as food quality and physical environment quality directly influence loyalty. Meanwhile, service quality has an indirect effect on loyalty through value. Then, price value and emotional value directly influence loyalty. This study provides a better understanding of scholars and managers in ethnic restaurants about restaurant quality, value, and loyalty. This study suggests that the quality of ethnic restaurants, such as food quality, service quality, and physical environment quality can be valuable indicators for increasing values and loyalty, as well as being an attractive marketing strategy for the preferences of different market segments for ethnic restaurant experiences

Every company is trying to meet consumer demand in order not to lose customers utama.Proses effective and efficient production is something to be achieved every manufacturing company today. Time becomes very influential in a production (makespan). PT. PAL INDONESIA is a shipbuilding company whose main activities are producing warships, merchant ships, and ship fast (special vessels). Ship - ship production PT. PAL INDONESIA (Persero) has served in the waters around the world. In the process of operational PT. PAL Indonesia has not made optimal production scheduling, this situation is the lack of clarity led to the work done in each lane. The purpose of this study is in the process of operational PT. PAL Indonesia has been no production scheduling in each lane, this situation is the lack of clarity led to the works. Therefore, researchers wanted to help the company in Job shop scheduling with priority dispatching rule heuristic approach, hoping to clarify the process of being made. Based on the results of data processing, the method Heuristic Priority Dispatching Rule Short Processing Time (SPT) at 117.67 makespan obtained by order of the process is the product size 150A - 200A - 100A - 80A - 125A - 65A, while Long Processing Time (LPT) product completion time (makespan) amounted to 117.411 hours of the order process is the size of 65A - 125A - 80A - 100A - 200A - 150A.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh karakteristik dewan terhadap kinerja Islamic Bank (IBs) di Indonesia dan Malaysia tahun 2016-2020. Sampel penelitian ini meliputi 11 bank umum syariah di Indonesia dan 7 bank umum syariah di Malaysia. Metode analisis menggunakan regresi data panel yang diproses dengan bantuan software eviews 12. Kinerja diukur dengan Return On Asset (ROA) dan Return On Equity (ROE), Karakteristik dewan diukur dengan ukuran dewan direksi, proporsi direktur wanita, keahlian dewan direksi, ukuran dewan pengawas syariah (DPS), proporsi DPS wanita dan keahlian DPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara keseluruhan bahwa Islamic Corporate Governance dan Corporate Governance berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja IBs. &nbsp

    Board Characteristic and Shari’a Banks Performance: Evidence from Indonesia and Malaysia 2015-2020

    This study aims to examine the effect of board characteristics on the performance of Islamic banks (IBs) in Indonesia and Malaysia in 2016-2020. The sample of this study includes 11 Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia and 7 Islamic commercial banks in Malaysia. The analysis method uses panel data regression which is processed with the help of software Eviews 12. Performance is measured by Return On Assets (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE), and Non-Performing Financing (NPF), Board characteristics are measured by the size of the board of directors, the proportion of directors women, the expertise of the board of directors, the size of the sharia supervisory board (DPS), the proportion of female DPS and the expertise of the DPS. The results of the study show that overall Islamic Corporate Governance and Corporate Governance have a positive effect on the performance of Islamic Banks (IBs).     Retail Employees’ Image on Shopping Destination: It’s Impact on Their Behavioural Intention

    The current development in retail industry shows that there is an intense competition between shopping destinations. In this competitive environment, an imperative strategy to endure and succeed is by developing a unique and favourable destination image. This study examines retail employee image on shopping destination model and its impact on their behaviour intention. This study uses 333 samples of retail employees collected from Bandung, Indonesia. The results verify the cognitive and affective component of image are critical drivers of shopping destination overall image. However, this study suggests that the overall image is not the determinant of behaviour intention. The cognitive image is the only important factor in determining retail employee behaviour intention. Further, this study shows that the differences between staff and manager on the destination image model are insignificant. The implication for retail business managers as part of the supply chain system in retail industry is discussed

    Catuspatha Spatial Concept in Denpasar City

    Denpasar city is an urban-multicultural city throughout its history when diverse ethnics settled in the city due to various interests, such as business trade, labors, politics, missionaries.  Those factors have made Denpasar get more and more populous city and it affects to the utilized space in the urban city. For instance, space for offices, business, open space of city park, and resident purposes. Regarding the spatial utility in the municipal city, however, there are few people are aware on the essence of catuspatha spatial concept. In fact, the existence of crossroad or catuspatha with a statue or shrine in the urban-multicultural city has a unique and distinctive characteristic. Its essence as a local wisdom maintains the spatial forms and spatial meanings. This study is aimed at revealing the spatial form and meaning in the main crossroads in Denpasar city with the concept of catuspatha which can be proposed as another cite of Denpasar heritage city to support the development of cultural tourism in Bali. By applying the descriptive qualitative research method, the data, both primary and secondary, were collected through participant observation, interview, and literature study.&nbsp
