    In any organization people recurrently meet to exchange information, and to make decisions on how to organize their work in order to fulfil their tasks. Different kinds of work meetings take place in all sectors of working life, also in what is known as the human service sector. The aim if this study was to investigate what research on work meetings in human service sector highlights as important influencing factors on how work is performed during meetings. The study is based on research performed on authentic work groups only. To make it possible to meet different the needs of the clients most work groups in human service sector are Multiprofessional ones. To be able to make use of the professional diversity in the work group during work meetings on important influencing factor is how influence is distributed between group members, influence over how discussions are held and how decisions are made. The influence of group members seems to be effected by what status an individual holds in the group, level of education and by how much someone talks during the meeting. The influence of a group member is also influenced by the size of the group, and by what method is used in the group to solve differences of opinion. Another important influencing factors that is highlighted in literature is the nature of communication during group meetings, especially concerning the possibility to integrate different perspectives and to have a shared vocabulary when discussing clients. If the meeting is or is not conducted by a systematic structure to guide discussion and decision-making is another important influencing factor. The influence of well- known group phenomena such as power of the majority, the value of minority dissent, group polarization, and the group think syndrome is also given attention in research literature. Attention is also given to the effects of emotional, subconscious needs of group members on the work performed during work meetings. To enhance performance during work meetings in the human service sector one might consider giving attention to the above-described aspects of work meetings. Influence more equally distributed between group members might be accomplished by using a systematic structure guiding discussion and decision-making. Small size groups and a collaborative way to solve differences of opinion might also contribute to an equal distribution of influence during work meetings. To facilitate communication during work meetings one might consider using consulteecentered consultation to help the work group reflect on how language is used during meetings.  To reflect on how work is performed during work meetings might also enable a work group to become aware of how emotional, subconscious needs might influence what is accomplished. InnehĂ„llsförteckning  NĂ€r mĂ€nniskor organiserar sig i arbete finns alltid behovet av att Ă„terkommande samlas för att utbyta information och för att fatta beslut om aktiviteter som ska genomföras. Detta Ă€r fallet inom alla sektorer i arbetslivet, och sĂ„ ocksĂ„ inom den del som gĂ„r under benĂ€mningen human service sektorn. Inom denna sektor ryms sĂ„dan verksamhet som har till uppgift att tillgodose basala mĂ€nskliga behov. Hit hör undervisningsverksamhet, omsorg om barn, funktionshindrade och gamla, och hit hör ocksĂ„ sjukvĂ„rd och socialtjĂ€nst. I dessa verksamheter samlas medarbetarna Ă„terkommande för att tillsammans diskutera och fatta beslut kring de elever/brukare/patienter/klienter som man arbetar för. Dessa trĂ€ffar Ă€r ofta mycket viktiga för samordningen av insatser till klienter. Möten av detta slag har olika beteckningar inom olika verksamheter, de kan t.ex. kallas elevvĂ„rdskonferens, teammöte, behandlingskonferens eller planeringstrĂ€ff. Representanter frĂ„n olika typer av verksamheter kan ocksĂ„ trĂ€ffas för diskussion och beslut kring gemensamma klienter. SĂ„ kan t.ex. medarbetare frĂ„n skola, barnpsykiatri och socialtjĂ€nst trĂ€ffas för att diskutera och fatta beslut kring ett barn som har kontakt med alla dessa verksamheter. SĂ„dana möten kallas ofta för samverkanskonferenser. I mĂ„nga av de aktuella verksamheterna har man en mĂ„ngprofessionell sammansĂ€ttning av arbetsgrupperna. Detta för att möjliggöra en allsidig belysning av klientens situation som grund för de insatsbeslut man fattar. Detta ocksĂ„ för att kunna erbjuda insatser av mĂ„nga olika slag. Detta innebĂ€r att vid arbetsmöten möts vanligen personer frĂ„n flera olika professioner som var för sig representerar olika kunskapsomrĂ„den. Det Ă€r naturligtvis av stor betydelse för verksamheternas klienter att de arbetsmöten dĂ€r deras situation diskuteras och dĂ€r beslut om lĂ€mpliga insatser fattas fungerar vĂ€l. Viktiga frĂ„gor i detta sammanhang Ă€r dĂ€rför: Vad pĂ„verkar arbetet under arbetsmöten i dessa sammanhang? Vad kan stödja ett vĂ€l fungerande arbetssĂ€tt och vad kan vara till hinder? Vad underlĂ€ttar att resultatet av arbetet blir bra och vad försvĂ„rar? Syftet med detta arbete Ă€r att undersöka vad forskning om arbetsmöten i human service sektorn lyfter fram som viktiga pĂ„verkansfaktorer för hur arbetet gestaltar sig. Syftet kan konkretiseras i följande tvĂ„ frĂ„gestĂ€llningar. Hur kan man beskriva arbetsmöten i human service sektorn; vem deltar, vilken kan uppgiften vara man har att lösa, och hur kan arbetet under sĂ„dana möten beskrivas? Vad pĂ„verkar möjligheten att lösa uppgiften/uppgifterna under arbetsmöten pĂ„ ett bra sĂ€tt och med ett bra resultat? ForskningsgenomgĂ„ngen som hĂ€r ska presenteras Ă€r baserad enbart pĂ„ empiriska studier av arbetsmöten i autentiska arbetsgrupper inom human service sektorn

    In this paper we present the first results of the application of computational methods, inspired by the ideas in McMahon & McMahon (2005), to a dataset collected from languages of every branch of the Tupian family (including all living non-TupĂ­-GuaranĂ­ languages) in order to produce a classification of the family based on lexical distance. We used both a Swadesh list (with historically stabler terms) and a list of animal and plant names for results comparison. In addition, we also selected more (HiHi) and less (LoLo) stable terms from the Swadesh list to form sublists for indepedent treatment. We compared the resulting NeighborNet networks and neighbor-joining cladograms and drew conclusions about their significance for the current understanding of the classification of Tupian languages.     Infrared properties of cuprates in the pseudogap state: a study of Mitrović-Fiorucci and Sharapov-Carbotte scattering rates

    The frequency dependent scattering rate of generalized Drude model contains important information on the electronic structure and on scattering mechanism. In the present investigation, we study the frequency dependent scattering rate of cuprates (Mitrović-Fiorucci/Sharapov-Carbotte scattering rate) in the pseudogap phase using the non-constant energy dependent Yang-Rice-Zhang (YRZ) density of states. First, with the energy dependent density of states, the scattering rate shows a depression at low energy coming from the opening of the pseudogap. Second, the evolution of 1/τ(ω,T) with temperature shows the observed increase in scattering rate with temperature at lower frequencies and the temperature independence of 1 /τ(ω) at higher frequencies. Third, the signature of the thresholds due to the boson density of states and to the electronic density of states are also observed. These signatures are qualitatively in accord with the experiments
