PhDr. Jan Drahoňovský EXECUTION OF IMPRISONMENT FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF CONVICTED MEN 2023 Abstract The subject of this thesis is serving of prison sentences by male prisoners in standard prisons in Czech Republic. The aim is to develop a theoretical model of the social stock of knowledge of convicts, which serves them to organize their daily experience and to navigate their sentence. To do this, qualitative field research was conducted in a typical high security prison. Data was collected in the form of twelve unstructured interviews that were subsequently analyzed by reflexive thematic analysis methodology (Braun & Clarke, 2022). Based on the results of the analysis, a theoretical model was constructed. It consists of six interrelated themes that form a body of social knowledge of convicts. The results were discussed in relation to existing knowledge, the methodology used, validity and potential applications to penitentiary practice. Cílem je vytvořit teoretický model sociální zásoby vědění odsouzených, jenž jim slouží k jejich každodennímu uspořádávání zkušeností a korientaci během jejich výkonu trestu. K tomu byl proveden kvalitativní terénní výzkum v jedné typické věznici s ostrahou. Data byla sebrána formou dvanácti nestrukturovaných interview a následně analyzována metodikou reflexivní tematické analýzy (Braun & Clarke, 2022). Na základě výsledků analýzy byl sestaven teoretický model sestávající ze šesti vzájemně propojených témat, která tvoří soubor sociálního vědění odsouzených. Výsledky byly diskutovány ve vztahu k dosavadnímu poznání, použité metodologii, validitě a možným aplikacím do penitenciární praxe. Precautions for increasement of efficiency of the selected part of the CSR concept

Předkládaná diplomová práce se věnuje problematice společenské odpovědnosti firmy. Cílem práce je na základě analýzy vybrané části konceptu společenské odpovědnosti podniku optimalizovat a standardizovat proces administrace přijaté žádosti o finanční podporu v rámci grantových programů.V úvodu práce jsou teoreticky vymezeny pojmy společenská odpovědnost či triple-bottom-line. Pozornost je věnována také argumentům pro a proti zavádění koncepce společenské odpovědnosti , subjektům, které se společenské odpovědnosti v České republice a ve světě věnují , a příbuzným konceptům. V další části je práce zaměřena na podnikové procesy a jejich provázanost s dílčími aktivitami v oblasti společenské odpovědnosti. V práci je také věnován prostor zkoumanému podniku a jeho společenské odpovědnosti.V aplikační části diplomové práce je provedeno zhodnocení vybrané části společenské odpovědnosti podniku - grantových programů - a to na základě zhodnocení podpořených žádostí. Na základě zjištěných skutečností jsou v závěru práce navržena opatření na optimalizaci a standardizaci procesu administrace žádosti o finanční podporu. Díky zjištěním z diplomové práce je možné snížit plýtvání ve vybraném podniku a zvýšit komfort administrativních pracovníků a žadatelů.This thesis is focused on corporate social responsibility. The aim of the thesis is to optimize and standardize the process of administration when receiving an application for financial support under the auspices of grant programs. This optimization is based on an analysis of a selected part of the CSR concept.The concept of corporate social responsibility and triple-bottom-line is theoretically defined at the beginning of the thesis. Attention is also paid to the pros and cons of the concept, to the companies that apply it in the Czech Republic and abroad and to related concepts. Next part of the thesis is focused on business processes and their relation to partial activities in the field of corporate social responsibility. The thesis also describes the selected company and its social responsibility.The selected part of the corporate social responsibility (grant programs) is evaluated in the second part of the thesis - the evaluation is based on the supported applications. There is a proposal of optimization and standardization of the application for financial support based on this evaluation. Thanks to the findings it is possible to reduce waste in the selected company and increase the comfort of administrative staff and applicants

Analysis and optimization of selected school library services

Předkládaná bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice školní knihovny. Cílem práce je na základě analýzy navrhnout možnosti optimalizace vybrané středoškolské školní knihovny.V úvodu práce jsou teoreticky vymezeny pojmy jako například knihovny či školní knihovna. Pozornost je věnována systému knihoven v České republice a postavení školních knihoven v něm. Dále jsou popsány funkce, cíle a význam školní knihovny a role knihovníka a školní knihovny v rozvoji informační gramotnosti studentů. Následně je nastíněna situace školních knihoven v České republice a předloženy inspirativní příklady ze zahraničí.V aplikační části bakalářské práce je nejprve popsána vybraná školní instituce a školní knihovna. Následně je představen a analyzován průzkum, který byl formou dotazníkového šetření proveden mezi studenty vybrané školy, stejně tak jsou popsány a analyzovány rozhovory se zaměstnanci školy. Tyto analýzy směřují k návrhu optimalizace vybrané školní knihovny. V závěru práce jsou čtenářům předkládány návrhy optimalizace s ohledem na výchovně-vzdělávací cíle školy a stanovené cíle školní knihovny.This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the school library. The aim of this work is to propose options for optimization of the selected high school library based on the analysis. The introduction of the thesis theoretically defines terms such as libraries or school library. Attention is paid to the system of libraries in the Czech Republic and the position of the school libraries in it. Furthermore, the functions, goals and importance of the school library are described, as well as the role of the librarians and the school library in the development of students' information literacy. Subsequently, the situation of school libraries in the Czech Republic is outlined and interesting examples from abroad are presented.The application part of the bachelor thesis describes the selected school institution and the school library first. Subsequently, a survey, which was conducted in the form of a questionnaire among students of the selected school, is presented and analysed, as well as interviews with school staff are described and analysed. These analyses aim to optimization of a selected school library. At the end of the thesis are readers acquainted with the optimization proposals with regard to the educational goals of the school and the goals of the school library

Preoperative application of the Enzian classification for endometriosis (The cEnzian Study): a prospective international multicenter study.

OBJECTIVE To assess the diagnostic performance of preoperative application of the Enzian classification (cEnzian) using surgical findings as reference standard DESIGN: A prospective international non-interventional study SETTING: 12 endometriosis centers in four European countries (Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and Czech Republic) POPULATION: 1062 women with endometriosis surgery METHODS: Extent of endometriosis was preoperatively classified using the cEnzian classification based on gynecological examination and/or transvaginal ultrasound (TVS) and/or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). After subsequent surgery, the surgeon classified the intraoperative findings using the Enzian classification. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES Sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV, LR+, LR- and accuracy were calculated. Conditional frequencies of intraoperative Enzian codings and the corresponding 95 % confidence intervals were computed for each preoperative coding and visualised in plots. RESULTS Although overall consistency of cEnzian and Enzian was poor (35.14 %, 95%-CI 32.26-38.03), high specificities and negative predictive values (NPVs) of the cEnzian compartments could be demonstrated. Looking at the individual parts of the Enzian classification, the poorest diagnostic performance was detected for compartment B and the highest PPVs were found for category 3-lesions (> 3 cm), independently of the compartment. CONCLUSIONS Using the Enzian classification in a non-invasive setting is a useful tool providing us with a 'at a glance' summary of the diagnostic workup regarding deep endometriosis with high specificities and NPVs. An attempt to merge the two new endometriosis classification systems (#Enzian and AAGL 2021) seems reasonable - with consideration of the respective advantages of each other
