Estimating the Efficiency of Voting in Big Size Committees

In a simple voting committee with a finite number of members, in which each member has a voting weight, the voting rule is defined by the quota (a minimal number of voting weights is required to approve a proposal), and the efficiency of voting in the committee is defined as the ratio of the number of winning coalitions (subsets of the set of members with total voting weights no less than the quota) to the number of all possible coalitions. A straightforward way of calculating the efficiency is based on the full enumeration of all coalitions and testing whether or not they are winning. The enumeration of all coalitions is NP-complete problem (the time required to find the solution grows exponentially with the size of the committee) and is unusable for big size committees. In this paper we are developing three algorithms (two exact and one heuristic) to compute the efficiency for committees with high number of voters within a reasonable timeframe. Algorithms are applied for evaluating the voting effi ciency in the Lower House of the Czech Parliament, in the European Parliament and in the Council of Ministers of the EU.Efficiency of voting, committee, European Parliament, EU Council of Ministers

The beginnings and development of electric vehicles

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na vytvoření rešeršní studie týkající se vzniku a vývoje elektromobilů. V první části bakalářské práce popisuji elektromobil a jeho výhody a nevýhody. Následuje popis historicky prvního elektromobilu a dále jeho hlavní vývojové etapy. V této části budou také zdokumentována využitá technická řešení etap. V závěru práce je na základě shromážděných údajů a vlastních odhadů popsán budoucí vývoj elektrických vozidel.This thesis is focused on creating a research study on the creation and development of electric vehicles. The first part describes the electric car and its advantages and disadvantages. Following is a description of the first ever electric vehicle and its main developmental stages. This section will also documented the use of technical solutions stages. The conclusion is based on data collected and described their own estimates of the future development of electric vehicles.

Utilization of EU funding for the realization the investment project in the municipality

Bakalářská práce se zabývá využitím financování ze zdrojů EU pro realizaci investičního záměru v obci. Hlavní náplní práce je analýza financování projektu. V práci je nejprve popsáno investiční rozhodování a možné zdroje financování. Seznámení se s regionální a strukturální politikou EU a jednotlivými evropskými fondy. V závěru je popsán konkrétní projekt rekonstrukce lokality ulic Masarykova – Krampolova ve městě Šternberk, kde je popsán postup a způsob financování.This thesis deals with the use of EU funding for the realization of the investment project in the municipality. The main work is to analyze the project. The work is first discussed investment decisions and sources of funding. Familiarity with the regional and structural policy of the EU and individual European funds. In conclusion, it describes a specific project for the reconstruction of streets locality Masarykova - Krampolova in Sternberk, which describes the procedure and method of financing.

Robotic welding of grinder frame

Tato práce se zabývá robotickým svařováním spodního rámu brusky. Je rozdělena do dvou částí, v teoretické části je popsána metoda svařování MIG/MAG a svařovací roboti a manipulátory. Cílem bakalářské práce je navrhnout robotické pracoviště a zkonstruovat svařovací přípravek. Na závěr byla vyhodnocena návratnost investice do nového zařízení.This thesis deals with robotic welding of grinder frame. It divided into two parts; the theoretical part described the method of welding MIG/MAG and welding robot and manipulators. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design robotic workplace and construct welding jig. At the end was evaluated the return on investment in new equipment.

Analysis of shaped part production by milling

V této práci je uvedeno základní rozdělení metod a způsobů výroby tvarových ploch frézováním a jejich následný rozbor. Dále jsou uvedeny základní stroje a nástroje používané při frézování tvarových ploch. Poznatky o jednotlivých metodách jsou porovnány a doporučeny k využití v praxi.This thesis contains the basic dividing of methods and ways of milling of shaped surfaces and subsequent analysis. In the following are contained the basic machinery and tools used in milling of shaped surfaces. Knowledge of the various methods are compared and recommended for use in practice.

Po částech lineární neuronová síť - porovnání efektivity trénovacích algoritmů

In this article, a benchmark of algorithms for training of piecewise-linear artificial neural networks is introduced. At first, motivation of this article is described for a special topology of the neural network is used. This topology can be advantageously used in system control design, but it is difficult problem to train it. In this article, there is described a set of possible training algorithms, these algorithms are tested and evaluated. Benchmarking data are based on real problems.V článku je představen benchmark několika trénovacích algoritmů pro učení umělé neuronové sítě s po částech lineárními aktivačními funkcemi. Production of Lactic Acid by Ion Substitution in 3-Compartment Electrodialysis and Comparing of Stack Arrangements

Electrodialysis (ED) is a process which is to transport anions and cations selectively and remove them from solutions and concentrate to the other ones. In three-compartment electrodialysis it is possible to immobilize required ions in certain ED compartment and change their counterions. In laboratory electrodialysis unit sodium lactate model solution was tested for conversion onto lactic acid via ion substitution. Four different arrangement of streams and membrane arrangement were compared in membrane stack the process was described. Mole and mass flux, reached product purity and energy consumption were evaluated for all examined cases
