    A research has been conducted to know the USAge of traditional antidhiarea in Baturaden Sub distric. This research uses qualitative metodhe and the responden was chosen by purposive sampling method. The research result shows that 10 plants, mangosteen, jackfruit, nutmeg, patikan kebo, and papaya. The simplisia or raw material used were leaf, root, fruir, and seed. Those plant are prepared as traditional medicine by squeezing, pounding, or pouring with hot water.     Has been done a comparation about Ethanol from Fermentation White, Purple, and Orange Uwi Variety. Determination of ethanol using UV-VIS spectophotometry according to microdifusion and using Conway dish. Beer's law is obeyed maximum length at 446 nm and equality of regretion line obtained by y = -0.3765x + 0.7835. The result of validation method obtained accuration of method and good precision appliance with the correlation coefficient ( r ) -0.9983. Limit of detection 0.0546 g/dL. Limit of quantitation 0.1821 g/dL. From result determination of uwi's sampels obtained by 3.2998%; 2,6152%; 2,6947% continued for white, orange and purple uwi's samples.     Virus merupakan parasit berukuran mikroskopik, menginfeksi sel organisme biologis, dan hanya dapat bereproduksi dalam material hidup. Daun Bandotan (Ageratum conyzoides L.), pada umumnya digunakan untuk mengobati demam, menghilangkan pembengkakan dan sakit tenggorokan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya aktivitas antivirus dari ekstrak etanol daun bandotan (Ageratum conyzoides L.) terhadap virus Newcastle Disease beserta profil kromatografi lapis tipisnya. Ektrak dibuat dengan cara maserasi menggunakan cairan penyari etanol 96 %. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara in Ovo yaitu dengan mengunakan telur ayam berembrio umur 9 – 11 hari. Pengamatan penghambatan virus digunakan uji hemaglutinasi (HA). Penelitian ini dianalisis dengan Uji Anava. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol daun bandotan mampu menghambat pertumbuhan virus Newcastle Disease. Konsentrasi yang digunakan adalah 1, 10 dan 100g/ml, dengan hambatan tertinggi 99.480.23 % dan terendah 50.00±0 %.     One is the use of traditional medicine in treating sleep, plants are often used empirically by the public and efficacious as a sedative is spinach (Ipomoea aquatic Forsk) the genus Ipomoea containing an derivative compounds Lisergic acid known efficacious as halusinergik. Sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L) is a genus of plants with kale, so this study examined the effects of sedation of sweet potato leaves. This study had aims to prove the sedation effect of ethanol extract of leaves of sweet potato in DDY. Type of research method was experimental study with posttest only control group design and data analysis,the methode used is the one way ANOVA. In this study made 6 positive controls phenobarbital treatment are 54.6 mg/kgBW, negative control 1% Na CMC, the treatment of ethanol extract of sweet potato leaves 95.5 mg/kgBW: 191 mg/kgBW; 382 mg/kgBW and 573 mg/kgBW rotarod method and observing traction changes in pupil diameter and reflexes behind the body. From the test results sedation are known that the largest sedation effect is obtained at a dose of 573 mg/kgBW. The test results are analyzed with ANOVA sedation in one direction with a 95% confidence level and followed by BNT using Tukey HSD test. The test results show ANOVA there are significant differences between treatment of each dosage with a positive control. Smallest Real Differences test results are known that sedative effects of ethanol extract of sweet potato leaves at dosage of 382 mg/kgBW and the dose of 573 mg/kgBW have no significant difference with the positive control, while the dose of ethanol extract of sweet potato leaves 95.5 mg/kgBW and 191 mg/kgBW show a significant difference with positive control. It is shown that the potential of ethanol extract of sweet potato leaves at dosage of 382 mg/kgBW and the dosage of 573 mg/kgBW is equivalent to a positive control. Ethanol extract of leaves of sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L) gives sedation effect in mice at doses of 382 mg/kgBW and 573 mg/kgBW as the positive control phenobarbital dose of dose 54.6 mg/kgBB.     Phyllantus niruri (L) of Euphorbiaceae has stimulator effect. Katuk and meniran plants are the family of Euphorbiaceae so that it is possible to contain similiar coumpound. Katuk leaf contain flavonoid compound it is likely to have imunostimulator. The study was to determine if the ethanol extract of katuk leaf (Sauropus androgynus (L) Merr) has the imunostimulator towards macrophage activites. This is an experimental research used 2-3 month male mice of Swiss type with 20-30 g. They were diveded into six groups and given ethanol extract of katuk leaf with certain dosages 35 mg/kg BB, 70 mg/kg BB, 140 mg/kg BB, levamisol 2.5 mg/kg BB, stimuno 9.1 mg/kg BB and negative control of Na CMC 1% in seven days. On the 8th day, they were infected intraperitoneally by giving 105 Staphylococus aureus bacteria. From 100 cel macrophage cell which latex was phagocytosis on dosage 35 mg/kg BB (37.00), dosage 70 mg/kg BB (44.00), dosage 140 mg/kg BB (49.67), stimuno 9.1 mg/kg BB (57.67), levamisol 2.5 mg/kg BB ( 62.00). The result from 100 cell of latex which was phagocyt dosage 35 mg/kg BB (73.00), dosage 70 mg/kg BB (78.00), 140 mg/kg BB (84.33) levamisol 2.5 mg/kg BB (93.00), stimuno 9.1 mg/kg BB (91.67).     Garcinia mangostana L is one of the main power plant that has natural antioxidants that are known to inhibit the scavenging free radicals.This study aims to Prove the ability of the antioxidant activity leaf juice extract of mangosteen leaves (Garcinia mangostana, L), the ratio of antioxidant activity between extract juice of mangosteen leaveswith positif control. Concentration of a substance in the juice extract of mangosteen leaves is determined by the DPPH method using UV-Vis spectrophotometry. It aims to determine the antioxidant activity of extract juice of mangosteen leaves using parameters Inhibition Concentration (IC50) which can cause loss of 50% DPPH as free radical. .The antioxidant activity of extract juice of mangosteen leaves has IC50 of 19.3708 ppm it shows that at these concentrations has 50% inhibition of DPPH free radical activity, and the vitamin E has a positive control ofa positivencontrol C50 2,146 ppm.These results indicate mangosteen juice extract of mangosteen leaves is lower than 9 times the antioxidant activity of a positive control. Based on the results of T test showed that extract juice of the mangosteen leaves and positive controls are different.     Analisis Penambatan Molekuler dan Prediksi Toksisitas dan ADME Penghambat Enzim Dipeptidil Peptidase IV dari Senyawa Aktif Momordica Charantia L. sebagai Antidiabetes

    Angka kejadian penyakit diabetes melitus (DM) di Indonesia terus meningkat setiap tahunnya, khususnya diabetes melitus tipe II yang disebabkan oleh resistensi insulin pada sel-sel tubuh. Salah satu pengobatan diabetes tipe II yang saat ini sedang dikembangkan adalah inhibitor enzim dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP-IV). Banyak digunakan sebagai obat herbal, pare (Momordica charantia L.) mengandung senyawa yang bersifat antidiabetes, sehingga berpotensi sebagai inhibitor DPP-IV. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi potensi penghambatan dan beberapa prinsip aktif pare terhadap aktivitas enzim DPP-IV secara in silico melalui penambatan molekuler. Data tersebut diolah dengan metode doking molekuler menggunakan program PyRx-Vina didukung dengan program PyMOL dan PLIP untuk membuat profil visual ligan-protein, ligan alami PF2 digunakan sebagai ligan pembanding dengan 18 senyawa uji. Molekul dengan hasil doking terbaik akan diprediksi toksisitasnya menggunakan program Toxtree dan absorbsi, distribusi, metabolisme, dan eliminasi (ADME) menggunakan program SwissADME secara online. Hasil doking menunjukkan charantin dan oleanolic acid memiliki binding affinity (ΔG) terendah yaitu -9.8 Kkal/mol dan -8.9 Kkal/mol, sedangkan ligan alami -8.7 Kkal/mol. Hasil prediksi toksisitas menunjukkan bahwa hanya ada satu senyawa yang memiliki toksisitas rendah (oleanolic acid) serta semua senyawa tidak bersifat karsinogenik. Hasil ADME menunjukkan bahwa hanya ada satu senyawa yang memenuhi aturan Lipinski (epicatechin). Hasil penambatan molekuler dengan metode PyRx-Vina menunjukkan bahwa senyawa aktif dari tanaman pare secara in silico terbukti dapat menghambat DPP-IV

    Telah dilakukan uji aktivitas antivirus fraksi air dan fraksi eter ekstrak etanol daun Ki tolod (Laurentia longiflora (L.) Peterm) terhadap virus Newcastle Disease dan profil kromatografi lapis tipisnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi fraksi air dan fraksi eter dari ekstrak daun Ki tolod sebagai antivirus, mengetahui profil kromatografi lapis tipis dan mengetahui golongan senyawa yang terkandung di dalamnya.Metode untuk mengetahui aktivitas antivirus fraksi air dan fraksi eter dari ekstrak daun Ki tolod menggunakan uji hemaglutinasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan fraksi air dan fraksi eter ekstrak etanol daun ki tolod dan telur ayam berembrio dengan umur 9-12, dengan variasi konsentrasi sebesar 150 µg/ml, 100 µg/ml, 50 µg/ml. Data yang diamati adalah persentase penghambatan pertumbuhan virus. Data tersebut dianalisis secara statistik dengan ANAVA dua arah dengan taraf kepercayaan 95 %. Hasil analisis golongan senyawa menggunakan kromatografi lapis tipis (KLT).Hasil uji aktivitas antivirus terhadap virus Newcastle Disease pada fraksi air konsentrasin dosis 150 µg/ml, 100 µg/ml, 50 µg/ml menunjukan daya hambat rata-rata tiap konsentrasi yaitu 91,66 %, 89,58 %, 79,17 %. Pada fraksi eter konsentrasi dosis 150 µg/ml, 100 µg/ml, 50 µg/ml menunjukan daya hambat rata-rata tiap konsentrasi yaitu 98,69 %, 95,83 %, 66,67 %. Pada kontrol positif osetalmivir menunjukan daya hambat rata-rata sebesar 94,79%. Hasil pengujian kromatografi lapis tipis menunjukan bahwa fraksi air ekstrak daun ki tolod mengandung golongan senyawa flavonoid, saponin dan alkaloid, fraksi eter ekstrak daun ki tolod mengandung golongan senyawa flavonoid dan alkaloid
