Root starches enriched with proteins and phenolics from Pachyrhizus ahipa roots as gluten‐free ingredients for baked goods

Ahipa is a gluten-free starchy root, bearing phenolics and a protein content of ~9% db. Ahipa proteins are hydrosoluble, thus they are lost during starch extraction. The aim of this work was to recover ahipa proteins by isoelectric point (pI) precipitation to enrich ahipa and cassava starches. Both enriched starches had protein contents of ~2%, and their ATR-FTIR spectra revealed bands characteristic of ahipa proteins. Enriched starches also contained phenolics in concentrations of 18-20 μg GAE/g. Enrichment lowered the whiteness index, but it remained higher than 90. Protein-enrichment did not modify gelatinization onset and peak temperatures but reduced the gelatinization enthalpy of ahipa starch. Enriched starches produced less-rigid buns than the native ones, with smaller and more homogeneously distributed alveoli in the crumb which resulted darker than the crust. PERBANDINGAN DAN ANALISA SEARCH ENGINE DAN METASEARCH ENGINE

Penelitian ini dibuat untuk mengetahui sejauh mana Search Engine dan Metasearch Engine dapat memberikan daftar informasi kepada pengguna internet. Performa Search Engine dan Metasearch Engine dilihat dari seberapa cepat situs-situs tersebut menampilkan daftar situs dan berapa banyak situs yang diberikan dan sejauh mana situs-situs yang diberikan memberikan informasi yang relevan kepada pengguna.Situs Search Engine dan Metasearch Engine yang dipakai untuk penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga, yaitu : yahoo.com, mediasearch.co.uk dan internet explorer. Query kata untuk kunci pencaharian digunakan dalam bentuk frase. Yang dinilai adalah lama waktu menampilkan daftar, alternative situs, dan jumlah situs yang ditampilkan oleh Search Engine dan Metasearch Engine serta relevansi informasi.Dari hasil penelitian, mediasearch.co.uk memberikan daftar situs paling sedikit, namun sangat focus terhadap informasi yang dicari. Sementara yahoo.com memberikan jumlah situs yang paling banyak dan bervariasi.Ditinjau dari kebutuhan pengguna/pencari informasi, ternyata yahoo.com memberikan solusi yang terbaik, karena disamping waktu untuk menampilkan daftar situs tidak begitu lama, situs-situs yang diberikan lebih banyak dan lebih bervariatif. Kata Kunci    : Perbandingan, Search Engine, Metasearch Engin

A Training Program for Cooperative Extension Agents: Implementation of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) in Virginia Public Schools

A School Integrated Pest Management (IPM) training program was provided to Extension agents in Virginia. The training was designed to teach agents how to promote IPM programs for structural pest control in schools. Training focused on promoting the concepts of IPM and reducing indoor pesticide use. Post-training evaluations indicated that agents had received sufficient information to promote IPM in their counties. Twelve of the agent participants hosted School IPM training within their local school district(s). These local programs have resulted in 9 districts adopting IPM and thus improving the environmental quality of for 23,813 school employees and 166,319 students

Tanpa Tatap Muka Pengajuan Proposal Judul Skripsi Mahasiswa Tetap Lancar melalui website

Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk membuat atau membangun suatu system pengajuan proposal skripsi melalui website dan disimpan dalam bentuk database agar pengajuan proposal skripsi yang selama ini diproses secara manual dengan mengisi form pengajuan proposal juduk skripsi memakan waktu yang cukup lama dan tidak efisien. Maka penulis melakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan kondisi di lingkungan institusi sendiri untuk menganalisa system seperti apa yang akan dibangun. Berdasarkan analisa, maka penulis membuat suatu website yang terhubung dengan database. Aplikasi tersebut dibangun dengan menggunakan PHP dan MySQL. Aplikasi yang dibangun sebatas menyimpan judul proposal, kekurangan aplikasi yang dibangun adalah belum adanya database judul skripsi. Ke depannya system dapat dikembangkan sehingga dapat dijadikan database untuk memeriksa apakah suatu proposal judul sudah pernah diajukan atau belum. Kata Kunci : MySQL, PHP, proposal, Skrips

Conditions of low activity affects the quality of student learning in the classroom . Learning that takes place in a class of students who are good looks alone were active when expressed opinion, this situation results in students who are still not familiar with the material described teachers feel embarrassed to ask and express their opinions because they feel unappreciated . Lack of democratic attitudes of students can be seen from the low motivation of democracy students in the group discussions . Students pay less attention to the teacher explaining and self-absorbed , only a few students were able to catch the teacher explained the material . This resulted in poor learning outcomes .The purpose of the study was : (1) To determine the activity of teachers in applying the Jigsaw learning model class X4 human rights materials SMAN 10 Banjarmasin (2) To raise the students in learning activities through the application of human rights materials Civics learning model SMAN 10 Jigsaw X4 class Banjarmasin (3) To improve learning outcomes of students in the subject matter of human rights in Civics class X4 SMAN 10 Banjarmasin .Data collection techniques used in action research (PTK) is the observation , documentation and test results of study conducted through several cycles , the first cycle and second cycle .The results of this study indicate (1) Teaching teachers to implement learning models Jigsaw takes place smoothly. In the first cycle of learning in teacher qualifications good enough and the second cycle has increased very well with good qualifications.(2) Activities of students has increased very well with good qualifications.(3) The learning process is applying the Jigsaw model can increase the activity of students and student learning outcomes .Based on these results, it is suggested that the school can determine langah and school policies towards better learning improvement. Territorial Impact Assessment of Territorial Cohesion in Italy is the main topic as well as the title of this special issue, which makes available the intermediate results of an Italian National Research Project PRIN2015 which will be closed in February 2020 (Project 73. PI Maria Prezioso - 20155NXJ8T - SH3 “Territorial Impact Assessment della coesione territoriale delle regioni italiane. Modello, su base place evidence, per la valutazione di policy rivolte allo sviluppo della green economy in aree interne e periferie metropolitane”). From February 2017, ten academic groups acting in collaborative partnership have discussed and implemented visions by literature review and experimental application of an innovative methodological approach, methods and tools, producing data, mapping and geographical studies. - is intensive activity, which is involving more than sixty researchers, national and regional policy/decision makers, stakeholders and practitioners is already collected in a book (Prezioso, ed., Quale Territorial Impact Assessment della coesione territoriale nelle regioni italiane. La concettualizzazione del problema, Bologna, Pàtron, 2018).
