IMPROVING EFL NON-ENGLISH TEACHERS IN TEACHER TALK ABILITY THROUGH TEACHERS’ TRAINING AT SD TUNAS GLOBAL

Foreign curriculum in Indonesia schools become more in demand. The schools facilitate the teachers with the students’ book written in English. The teachers must be able to deliver the lesson into the correct English that is specifically made and used in the classroom. Not all the teachers know that English for teaching is different from daily English. Since SD Tunas Global combined the new curriculum from the Cambridge in the education year 2020-2021 with the goverment curriculum, the needs of using English inside and outside the classroom is a must. Phenomena which were often appeared from the observation were teachers often used mother-tongue language; Bahasa Indonesia and they tend to directly translate Bahasa Indonesia into English without knowing whether the language was proper English to use in teaching. Techer talk is the sentences and expressions that can be used both inside and outside classroom. The data were taken from the interview, observation and the result from the test. Local community development is one of the most important elements of overall economic development. The level of human-oriented development to form an entrepreneurial spirit, which is closely related to the human resources available in a region, has a huge impact on the speed and structure of rural economic growth. English Integration in Tribun Jabar Newspaper

Most Indonesian people probably never realize whether the vocabularies read in some books or other media come from the process of foreign language integration (loan word) or not. This is for the reason that in this research, the researcher would like to discuss about integration found in one daily newspaper. The researcher used several theories related to the problem. There are problem that researcher wants to point out in this study. It can be formulated as follows: first. what are English vocabularies integrated and types of English loan words are found in Tribun Jabar newspaper (forum rubric). Second, do they have a difference or similarity of meaning in both Indonesian and English. The method used of this research is qualitative. That is method used to solve and answer the research problems. The researcher analyzed the data which taken from Tribun Jabar newspaper (forum rubric). From two research question given, the result of analysis shows that there were fifty words chosen as the data, they are analyzed based on Samsuri’s theory about the type of loan word: complex loan words, simple loan word, translation word and the researcher used three dictionaries as a tool to help the researcher analyzed the meanings of those words. The result of the research showed that there were 38 complex loan words, 7 simple loan word and 5 translation word. Besides, there were 40 words having similar meanings, meanwhile, 10 words having different and similar meanings in both Indonesian and English. According to the data above the writer assumes that some Indonesian vocabularies come from English as integrated words into Indonesian

Implementation of Civic Education in Building the Nation's Character

Pancasila education is one of the most important factors and needed in building the nation's character based on Pancasila values, which are the basis of the ideology of the Indonesian state. This journal aims to investigate how PKn is implemented in schools in Indonesia and how it impacts the formation of students' character. In this qualitative research, data was collected through observation, comprehensive interviews, and documentation investigations from various sources. This study shows that the effective use of PKn increases national and state awareness and instills national values such as tolerance, justice, and solidarity. The study also found problems in implementing PKn, such as a lack of teacher training and limited resources. Based on these findings, this journal provides recommendations to improve the PKn curriculum to make it more relevant and relevant. PENGGUNAAN TEKNOLOGI DIGITAL DALAM MENINGKATKAN LITERASI KEWARGANEGARAAN GLOBAL

Penggunaan teknologi digital telah menjadi kebutuhan mendesak dalam meningkatkan literasi kewarganegaraan global di era digital. Namun, rendahnya kesadaran peserta didik terhadap isu-isu global, seperti keberagaman, hak asasi manusia, dan lingkungan, diperburuk oleh keterbatasan literasi digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas teknologi digital dalam meningkatkan literasi kewarganegaraan global di kalangan pelajar. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan literature review sistematik, dengan analisis berbagai jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan dokumen resmi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi digital mampu mendukung pembelajaran interaktif, memperkaya wawasan tentang isu-isu global, dan mendorong keterlibatan aktif peserta didik dalam masyarakat global. Namun, ketimpangan akses teknologi, kualitas konten digital, dan penyebaran informasi yang tidak valid menjadi tantangan utama. Kesimpulannya, integrasi teknologi digital dalam pendidikan harus disertai dengan kebijakan yang mendukung akses yang merata, pelatihan pendidik, dan pengembangan kurikulum berbasis nilai kewarganegaraan global. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi baru dalam memahami peran teknologi digital untuk membangun generasi muda yang sadar dan bertanggung jawab secara global.

ANALISA RESIDU PESTISIDA PADA CABAI LOKAL DI WILAYAH KABUPATEN TAPANULI SELATAN

Pestisida merupakan bahan kimia yang sangat berbahaya dan selalu di aplikasi pada berbagai jenis tanaman. Penggunaan pestisidadalam mengatasi organisme pengganggu tanaman telah membudaya dikalangan petani. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui residu pestisida organofosfat yang terkandung pada buah cabai lokal di Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah surveyyang dilakukan terhadap beberapa petani dan pedagang cabai lokal yang ada di wilayah Tapanuli Selatan. Penelitian ini diambil pada 2 lokasi utama pertanaman cabai yaitu di kecamatan batang angkola dan kecamatan angkola julu. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mewawancarai 5 petani cabai lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cabai lokal yang diamati di dua kecamatan tersebut mengandung residu pestisida.Residu pestisida yang ditemukan di Desa Sigalangan berbahan aktif klorpirifos yaitu 0,219 mg/kg. Sedangkan pestisida berbahan aktif profenofos di desa sigalangan yaitu 5,7319 mg/kg dan Desa Sijungkang yaitu 3,7134 mg/kg

Analisa Kemampuan Membaca pada Anak Sekolah Dasar: Literature Review

Fenomena di masyarakat terdapat banyak siswa di pendidikan dasar banyak yang belum bisa membaca dengan lancar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat seberapa jauh kemampuan membaca pada anak sekolah dasar dengan menggunakan metode literature review. Studi literature ini dilakukan dengan menganalisa beberapa artikel penelitian dari tahun dua ribu sembilan belas sampai dua ribu dua puluh tiga. Data didapatkan dari Google Schoolar dengan kata kunci anak sekolah dasar dan kemampuan membaca. Hasil dari literature ini didapatkan lima artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Hasil dari studi literature ini didapatkan kemampuan membaca pada anak sekolah dasar masih rendah. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi masukan untuk pendidik dalam merencanakan pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi pada siswa di pendidikan dasar

Hyperactivity is a disorder experienced by children which is characterized by aggressive behavior, inability to calm down, impulsiveness, temper tantrums, difficulty concentrating, and likes to seek attention from other people." Hyperactive children must be treated as soon as possible to avoid problems around them. Examples of hyperactivity are often disturbing other friends, not wanting to be controlled, often leaving their seats during class, and often not completing the tasks they have done. Apart from that, hyperactive children include: having a high temper, often hurting other people, often leaving their seats during class, and being spoiled. These behaviors are caused by home or family environmental factors. Objectives (1) behavior of hyperactive children, (2) factors that cause hyperactive children, (3) efforts to overcome hyperactive children. Education, as a vital means of developing human resources, is a need that cannot be separated from human life in making the nation's life intelligent and forming skilled people. Schools as education providers have a responsibility to develop students' potential to become people of faith and piety and able to develop their knowledge. However, it can be found in elementary schools that there are students who have hyperactive behavior which tends to make it difficult for teachers to deal with them. Therefore, teachers are tasked with providing guidance to students who have hyperactive behavior, because these students' hyperactive behavior can certainly have an impact on disrupting the success of educational activities in the classroom. Method This article uses a literature review research method with reference sources from 15 previous research journals. Review: Journal search results found 15 journals that met the criteria for hyperactive children determined by researchers. Most of the research found used a cross sectional study design, but several studies also used case control and cohort study designs. Several different results were found in each study, but they still showed similarities, namely that there were still the same perceptions about hyperactive behavior in each study

Hubungan Antara Pendidikan Seksual Yang Didapat Melalui Orang Tua, Peer Group dan Media Massa Dengan Perilaku Seksual Remaja : Studi Kasus Pada SMU X Jakarta

Adolescent’s sexual behavior can be controlled to be inactive by providing sexual education to them. From 215 adolescenst,63.3% seldom receive sexual education from their parent. There’s 76.7% respondents get sexual education through peer group. 68.8% respondent admits that receive frequent sexual education through mass media. There’re 77.7% respondents are sexually inactive. Liveliness depends on various activities and also its intensity. There’re 22.3% respondents never having courtship. 3.3% respondents, who have motived in courtship, have sexual activity before married.
