Prince Svyatoslav Vsevolodovich of Chernigov, "Kinngmaker" in Suzdalia (1174-1179)
Prince Svyatoslav Vsevolodovich of Chernigov (1164-1177)
had Monomashichi blood in him since his mother Maria was
Prince Vladimir Monomakh’s granddaughter. The genealogical
bond between him and the Yur’evichi dynasty of Suzdalia therefore
may have been a strong factor in influencing him to foster friendly
relations with them. Svyatoslav gave four Yur’evichi sanctuary in
Chernigov and after Prince Andrey Bogolyubskiy’s assassination
in 1174 he helped Mikhalko and after him Vsevolod, as the most
senior Yur’evich in the Monomashichi family in Suzdalia, to attain
control of Suzdalia. By backing their claims to the throne of
Vladimir on the Klyaz’ma Svyatoslav showed that he supported the
ladder system of princely succession, the system that Yaroslav the Wise had advocated.

Oleg Svyatoslavich submits to Vladimir Monomakh on three counts
According to chronicle information Oleg submitted to Vladimir
Monomakh on three counts, each one depriving him and his
descendants of important political rights. First, at Lyubech Oleg
agreed to being demoted below his brother David in political
seniority in the dynasty of the Svyatoslavichi. Second, at Lyubech he
also submitted to Monomakh by agreeing to let Monomakh displace
him from his genealogical order of succession to Kiev. Third, Oleg
submitted to Monomakh when he agreed to let all of Monomakh’s
numerous sons have the right to succeed their father to Kiev ahead
of Oleg. The agreement in effect debarred the Ol’govichi from the
right to occupy Kiev according to peaceful succession.
Prince Yaroslav Vsevolodovich and the succession crisis of 1195
In 1195 the Monomashichi, Ryurik Rostislavich of Kiev, his
brother David of Smolensk, and Vsevolod Bol’shoe Gnezdo of
Suzdalia, demanded that Yaroslav Vsevolodovich and the Ol’govichi
of Chernigov pledge never to seize from them or their descendants
their patrimonies of Kiev and Smolensk. Yaroslav proclaimed
bluntly that following Ryurik and David’s death succession to Kiev
would be determined by God’s providence, that is, by military force.
Significantly, in his negotiations with the Rostislavichi, Yaroslav was
supported by Vsevolod Bol’shoe Gnezdo.У 1195 р.

Influence of Low-Cost Carriers on Airport Infrastructure Development
The European low-cost carriers share in passenger traffic isgetting higher each year. Their business model benefits frommany aspects. Still, one of the most important aspects is usageof secondary airports. Those airports are mainly regional incharacter with relatively low passenger figures. With arrival oflow cost carriers, traffic volume has greatly increased whichbrings additional load on airport infrastructure. Because of thisextra load, additional planning of future development as well asextension of movement surfaces, primarily apron area, and terminalareas is necessary.Several/ow-cost carriers currently operate to Croatian airports, and with forthcoming regulation liberalization theirnumber is expected to grow. The paper presents the increase inpassenger traffic at European and Croatian airports generatedby low-cost carriers, and its influence on development of airportinfrastructure
An Algorithm Measuring Donor Cell-Free DNA in Plasma of Cellular and Solid Organ Transplant Recipients That Does Not Require Donor or Recipient Genotyping
Cell-free DNA (cfDNA) has significant potential in the diagnosis and monitoring of clinical conditions but accurately and easily distinguishing the relative proportion of DNA molecules in a mixture derived from two different sources (i.e. donor and recipient tissues after transplantation) is challenging. In human cellular transplantation there is currently no useable method to detect in vivo engraftment and blood-based non-invasive tests for allograft rejection in solid organ transplantation are either non-specific (e.g. creatinine in kidney transplantation, liver enzymes in hepatic transplantation) or absent (i.e. heart transplantation). Elevated levels of donor cfDNA have been shown to correlate with solid organ rejection but complex methodology limits implementation of this promising biomarker. We describe a cost-effective method to quantify donor cfDNA in recipient plasma using a panel of high-frequency single nucleotide polymorphisms, next-generation (semiconductor) sequencing and a novel mixture model algorithm. In vitro, our method accurately and rapidly determined donor/recipient DNA admixture. For in vivo testing, donor cfDNA was serially quantified in an infant with a urea cycle disorder after receiving six daily infusions of donor liver cells. Donor cfDNA isolated from 1-2 ml of recipient plasma was detected as late as 24 weeks after infusion suggesting engraftment. The percentage of circulating donor cfDNA was also assessed in pediatric and adult heart transplant recipients undergoing routine endomyocardial biopsy with levels observed to be stable over time and generally measuring <1% in cases without moderate or severe cellular rejection. Unlike existing non-invasive methods used to define the proportion of donor cfDNA in solid organ transplant patients, our assay does not require sex mismatch, donor genotyping or whole-genome sequencing and potentially has broad application to detect cellular engraftment or allograft injury after transplantation
