Determination of the Band Gap Energy for Ternary Material Sn-In-Zn-O Thin Films by Electron Spectroscopy and Ultra-visible Spectrometer
The SnInZnO thin film was prepared at room temperature by RF magnetron sputtering. The band gap of this film was investigated by REELS and UV-Spectrometer analysis. By using REELS with low energy (500 eV) and high energy (1500 eV) electron beams, the surface band gap as well as and the bulk energy band gap were measured. The result shows that the band gaps are affected by the primary electron energies. The transmittance value of 80% in the visible light region has been achieved. The optical band gap was calculated by using Tauc's relation from UV-Spectrometer analysis and compared to that of the band gap obtained by the REELS spectra

Proposed parametric cooling of bilayer cuprate superconductors by terahertz excitation
We propose and analyze a scheme for parametrically cooling bilayer cuprates
based on the selective driving of a -axis vibrational mode. The scheme
exploits the vibration as a transducer making the Josephson plasma frequencies
time-dependent. We show how modulation at the difference frequency between the
intra- and interbilayer plasmon substantially suppresses interbilayer phase
fluctuations, responsible for switching -axis transport from a
superconducting to resistive state. Our calculations indicate that this may
provide a viable mechanism for stabilizing non-equilibrium superconductivity
even above , provided a finite pair density survives between the bilayers

The analysis of the benefits and costs of aeronautical research and technology (ABC-ART) models are documented. These models were developed by NASA for use in analyzing the economic feasibility of applying advanced aeronautical technology to future civil aircraft. The methodology is composed of three major modules: fleet accounting module, airframe manufacturing module, and air carrier module. The fleet accounting module is used to estimate the number of new aircraft required as a function of time to meet demand. This estimation is based primarily upon the expected retirement age of existing aircraft and the expected change in revenue passenger miles demanded. Fuel consumption estimates are also generated by this module. The airframe manufacturer module is used to analyze the feasibility of the manufacturing the new aircraft demanded. The module includes logic for production scheduling and estimating manufacturing costs. For a series of aircraft selling prices, a cash flow analysis is performed and a rate of return on investment is calculated. The air carrier module provides a tool for analyzing the financial feasibility of an airline purchasing and operating the new aircraft. This module includes a methodology for computing the air carrier direct and indirect operating costs, performing a cash flow analysis, and estimating the internal rate of return on investment for a set of aircraft purchase prices
Perancangan Kampanye Safety Riding untuk Pengendara Motor Surabaya 2012
Bertambahnya jumlah sepeda motor di Surabaya yang demikian pesat tiap tahunnya, membuat angka pelanggaran lalu lintas cukup tinggi. Dengan jumlah sepeda motor yang banyak, mengakibatkan jumlah pelanggaran naik, yang berimbas pada tingginya angka kecelakaan di Surabaya. Pelanggaran lalu lintas ini cenderung mengalami kenaikan tiap tahunnya.Tingkat kepedulian pengendara motor masih sangat rendah untuk melakukan disiplin lalu lintas. Dibutuhkan kampanye safety riding yang merupakan salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk menangani hal tersebut. Perancangan kampanye ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan instrument pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara mendalam, serta pengamatan pada pengguna kendaraan bermotor di Surabaya.Dengan menggunakan metode perancangan diatas, dapat dilihat bahwa permasalahan lalu lintas di Surabaya dapat diatasi salah satu satunya dengan kampanye safety riding yang menggunakan media yang menarik dan efektif untuk memaksimalkan hasil kampanye.
