Building Historical Narratives about Controversial Issues on Twitter: An Analysis of Digital Literacy Levels in Secondary School Students
This research analyses the literacy levels of a group of Spanish secondary school history students (n = 42) in digital environments (Twitter), with the aim of providing educational clues about the ways in which social discourses are constructed on controversial issues, in particular those generated by the Spanish Civil War. From a qualitative research approach, the most recurrent digital narrative data has been emptied and analyzed, based on three a priori categories of social analysis: gender, historical empathy and social conscience. The results report the predominance of cognitive/inferential literacy skills and, consequently, the need to incorporate new scenarios for teaching-learning history from the theoretical principles of critical pedagogy and education for active, critical and committed citizenship with social participation
What Predictors Explain Holocaust and Human Rights Education in Spain? A Study with in-Service Secondary School Teachers
From the perspective of the pedagogy of teaching collective trauma, and the educational dialogue between historical memory and contemporary social responsibility, this research seeks to determine the socio-demographic, formative and didactic factors that explain the teaching of the Holocaust and Human Rights education in a sample of Spanish secondary school teachers (n = 1125). Through a non-experimental, cross-sectional, explanatory and predictive design, and the application of the instrument Teaching the Holocaust and Human Rights Education (THRE), the results obtained show that the initial and on-going training of teachers is one of the explanatory axes of the curricular inclusion of the Holocaust and Human Rights as specific contents of education for democratic citizenship. Age, gender and level of teacher education, on the other hand, are not proposed as explanatory factors for the inclusion of Holocaust and human rights as specific content in education for democratic citizenship
A new approach for modelling passenger trains evacuation procedures
This paper presents EvacTrain 2.0 a new model to simulate and explore the results of different evacuation strategies in passenger trains. This model is stochastic and can generate several results within a few seconds. This is why it is intended to be used for decision support during emergencies. EvacTrain is compared with another evacuation model and partially validated against a fire drill. Results show that this model can provide an accurate representation of real evacuation process. The general findings suggest a new paradigm for the application of evacuation modelling in passenger trains: their potential use for supporting emergency decisions in real-time.The authors would like to thank to the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness for the EVACTRAIN Project grant, Ref.: BIA2011-26738, co-financed by FEDER

In the present document a financial plan of the company Mibanco Banco de la
Microempresa SA is prepared, which aims to improve the indicators of Working Capital,
Capital Structure, Global Capital Ratio, Provisions, Net Financial Margin, Gross Financial
Margin, which when applied, they maximize the EBITDA of the company and therefore its

In Peru banking is an important driver of the economy, by the end of 2017 the total
portfolio of loans granted by the multiple banks amounted to S / .245,552 million, growing by
5.54% compared to the previous year. Mibanco is an institution specialized in customer
service for micro and small businesses. Due to the volatility of future customer flows that
Mibanco serves, the bank assumes a greater risk of default, which, when not mitigated, can
drastically punish the benefits (increase in provisions).
Due to the importance of banking entities in the country, the Superintendency of
Banking Insurance and AFP (SBS) regulates financial institutions using their own and
international control standards such as the Basel III agreement, this allows to prevent possible
deterioration of the portfolios (assets and liabilities) of financial institutions and consequently
strengthen the financial sector.
The strategies proposed in the financial plan focus on: (a) Market positioning (b)
Collection of deposits (c) Portfolio quality (d) Value of the company.Tesi
Increasing grid integration of wind energy by using ampacity techniques
The grid integration of renewable energy, particularly in Spain, supposes an important problem to deal with for Distributor System Operators (DSO). Most of the times Wind Energy Farms are located in places that are far away from the transmission networks so they have to be integrated into distribution networks that are frequently operating close to their static rate. Current regulations make almost impossible to build new overhead lines so the increase of the capacity of the existing lines is a new target for the DSO. This paper is devoted to the analysis of a new methodology and monitoring system that have been developed to overcome the existing static rates by moving the operation point of the overhead lines close to their dynamic rate. This new rate is computed by using both the IEEE and CIGRÉ algorithms and a local weather forecast. The obtained results show that this approach can increase the capacity of the lines in a significant percentage. This work was supported by the Spanish Government under the R+D initiative INNPACTO with reference IPT2011-1447-920000
Analysis of a real case of ampacity management in a 132 kV network integrating high rates of wind energy
The grid integration of renewable energy, and particularly in Spain, supposes an important problem to deal with for Distributor System Operators (DSO). Most of the times Wind Energy Farms are located in places that are far away from the transmission networks so they have to be integrated into distribution networks that are frequently next to their static rate. Current regulations make almost impossible to build new overhead lines so the increase of the capacity of the existing lines is a new target for the DSO. One of the developed options to solve this issue is the dynamic management of the network. This paper is devoted to the analysis of a real case of ampacity management in a 132 kV overhead line placed in a high-wind generation area. The obtained results show that this approach can increase the lines capacity in a significant percentage. This work was supported by the Spanish Government under the R+D initiative INNPACTO with reference IPT-2011-1447-920000 and Spanish R+D initiative with reference ENE2013-42720-R.

Keys to Future in the Care and Support for People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. What Tell us Science?
This article describes the contributions of a round table whose main purpose was to respond, by three experts, a series of topics, with the look anytime in the next ten years, such as: the evolution of the concepts of intelligence and adaptive behavior; the diagnostic evaluation of disability; the quality of life as a source of information to evaluate the policies, as well as the practices of the services; the conditions that must have a service to make it really a service focused on the person; services based in the community; the needs of supporting families; the role of the parents; either the own participation of persons with disabilities in the development of services. The discussion was organized on the basis of three large blocks of content: diagnostic elements, constructs in the field of intellectual disabilities, and provision of support. This article ends with a Decalogue of conclusions based on the arguments of the parties
Indirect estimation of overhead line ampacity in overhead lines integrating wind farms
Ampacity techniques have been used by Distributor System Operators (DSO) and Transport System Operators (TSO) in order to increase the static rate of transport and distribution infrastructures, especially those who are used for the grid integration of renewable energy. In some cases, especially when the overhead lines are used to evacuate energy from wind farms, there is a direct correlation between the ampacity of the overhead lines and the active power produced by the wind farms. This papers analyses this correlation considering the most important weather parameters like wind, ambient temperature and solar irradiation. This work was supported by the Spanish Government under the R+D initiative INNPACTO with reference IPT-2011-1447-920000
Socio-Environmental Problematic, End-Purposes, and Strategies Relating to Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) through the Perspectives of Spanish Secondary Education Trainee Teachers
In this paper, representations of Spanish Secondary Education trainee teachers (n = 163) are analyzed with regard to the socio-environmental problematic, end-purposes, and strategies of education for sustainable development (ESD). Likewise, the study seeks to identify the potential influence of sociodemographic variables on those representations and, in particular, possible differences between either the perceptions or the beliefs of trainee teachers of Geography and History and those from other disciplines. The study can be classified as a non-experimental ex post facto investigation based on a questionnaire, yielding results that reflected the commitment of the students towards teaching through the implementation of strategies directed at conflict resolution for social transformation, and towards teaching the development of critical and creative thinking skills for social interventions. Likewise, the study reports the promotion of specific socio-educational actions leading to sustainable development. These results show the absence of differences in terms of the sex, age, institutional affiliation, background discipline or specialism, or previous training in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the students. Despite the identification of greater tendencies towards the conceptualized development of social awareness and active citizenship among trainee teachers of Geography and History, these results reflected the pertinence and the educational need for ESD in higher education from a holistic and transversal perspective
