Governança Democrática na Administração Prisional: os desafios da formação dos Policiais Penais no Sistema Prisional goiano

This article presents an assessment of the formative process of the criminal police training course in Goiás based on qualitative empirical research. Starting from a socio-institutional approach of the Penitentiary Administration, based on the data collected through interviews with teachers and prison managers, in a dialectical analysis, the objective is to highlight the capacity of civil servants in training to deal with penitentiary problems, investigating the impacts of the training processes of these professionals for the realization of the fundamental right to public security as a precondition for the effective re-democratization of Brazil. As a result, guidelines are proposed for the construction of a policy focused on the responsiveness of actors in the prison system towards democratic governance as a guideline for the performance of criminal police officers to face the intersectional crises that mark the Brazilian prison reality.O presente artigo apresenta uma avaliação acerca dos processos formativos dentro do curso de formação dos Policiais Penais em Goiás a partir de pesquisa empírica qualitativa. Partindo de uma abordagem socioinstitucional da Administração Penitenciária, a partir dos dados coleados por intermédio de entrevistas com professores e gestores prisionais, em análise dialética, objetiva-se evidenciar a capacidade dos servidores em formação para lidar com os problemas penitenciários, perquirindo-se os impactos dos processos de formação destes profissionais para concretização do direito fundamental à segurança pública como pressuposto da efetiva redemocratização brasileira. Como resultados, propõe-se diretrizes para construção de uma política com foco na responsividade dos atores do sistema prisional em direção à governança democrática como baliza de atuação dos policiais penais para o enfrentamento das crises interseccionais que marcam a realidade prisional brasileira

A intensificação da produção desde a revolução industrial tem trazido grandes benefícios para a população, mas também algumas preocupações quanto ao modo de trabalho intenso que foi designado aos funcionários. Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar a importância da ergonomia na qualidade de vida do empregado responsável pelo controle de estoque nas empresas, visando a melhoria do desempenho desse funcionário e redução de custos com perdas de produtividade. A metodologia apresenta uma pesquisa bibliográfica considerando as contribuições acadêmicas publicadas em artigos de revistas, anais ou periódicos, assim como livros. Concluiu-se que a qualidade de vida dos funcionários tem grande importância na gestão da qualidade total de uma empresa que busca fornecer os melhores produtos ou serviços para seus consumidores principalmente nos ambientes de almoxarifado ou depósito que são setores extremante delicados na dinâmica produtiva da empresa. O artigo divide-se em três partes principais: na introdução faz-se um breve resumo do que será abordado no tralho, o desenvolvimento traz os pensamentos críticos dos autores, bem como argumentações sobre eles, levando o leitor para o ponto final do trabalho que é a conclusão.

Aplicação do bim na compatibilização de projetos complementares / Bim application in compatibilization of additional projects

O Brasil apresenta uma grande falha na compatibilização e estruturação de projetos, assim, muitos dos problemas na construção civil são por falta de organização e planejamento adequados, ainda mais acentuados nos projetos complementares. O sistema BIM (Building Information Modeling) é a integração dos projetos e a construção ou reforma em um único meio, a fim de apresentar resultados sem erros ou dúvidas. Este trabalho objetiva demonstrar os reais benefícios que o BIM possui quando aplicado na fase de projetos, especificamente na compatibilização de um projeto arquitetônico com seus complementares. Assim, serão utilizados os softwares da Autodesk (AutoCAD, REVIT e Navisworks) e da AltoQi (Eberick, QiBuilder Elétrico e QiBuilder Hidrossanitário) para executar a interoperabilidade e apresentar em imagens a compatibilização dos projetos. A modelagem tridimensional dos projetos possibilitou uma visão mais ampla, permitindo uma análise prévia de conflitos, e através da compatibilização foram obtidos os relatórios, garantindo maior confiabilidade e agilidade dos dados gerados e das correções a serem feitas. Portanto, o BIM mostrou-se um excelente método para integrar informações, permitindo a identificação de conflitos antes da fase de execução

BWDAT: A research tool for analyzing the consumption of VOD content at home

Introduction: New approaches to the study of the binge-watching phenomenon require new technology, leading to the development of a non-intrusive and low-cost analytical research software that facilitates a holistic understanding of binge-watching in an uncontrolled environment remotely (e.g., the home). BWDAT was developed to allow the collection of three types of data: users’ physiological data gathered from a smartwatch, users’ interactions from video-on-demand interfaces, and self-reported data. This tool offers the possibility to generate automatic data analysis reports, facilitating researchers’ data analysis tasks. Methods: Two trial studies and a long-term study were used to evaluate the design and the technical implementation of the BWDAT tool. The metrics used were the BWDAT smartwatch's App data coverage of the viewing sessions, and the data's reliability of the viewer's interactions with the Netflix interface, collected by the BWDAT Chrome Extension. Results: High percentages of data coverage and content coverage were verified in the sessions collecting the smartwatch's data. The reporting system developed proved to be useful in the collection and synchronization of physiological and users’ interaction data with Netflix interface, both generated in uncontrolled environments. Furthermore, the BWDAT tool facilitated the analysis of a large amount of nuanced data. Conclusion: The results obtained confirm the reliability, accuracy, and usability of BWDAT. This tool has the potential to help researchers shed new light on the field of media and audience studies, and in particular on binge-watching

Climate impacts in the Brazilian energy security: analysis of observed events and adaptation options

Climate change is expected to increase the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events, which can affect energy systems. Thus, this study aims to evaluate impacts of meteorological events on the Brazilian energy system, through an analysis of recent reports. Cases of impacts on hydropower, power transmission and distribution, bioenergy crops and residential cooling demand in recent years are assessed. Finally, the challenges of energy planning in the face of climate change are analyzed and adaptation measures for the energy system are proposed, pointing out possible repercussions on water, food, socio-environmental and climate security.Climate change is expected to increase the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events, which can affect energy systems. Leaf n-hexane, dichloromethane and methanol extracts were analyzed by GC/MS and evaluated for their in vitro antiproliferative activity on cell lines 786-0 (kidney), HT-29 (colon), K562 (leukemia), NCI-ADR/RES (drug resistant ovary), NCI-H460 (lung), MCF-7 (mammary), PC-3 (prostate), OVCAR-3 (ovary), U251 (glioma) and UACC-62 (melanoma). The dicloromethane extract exhibited activity against all cell lines at the concentration 25 µg/mL, in particular on cell lines NCI-H460 (GI50 0.33 μg/mL) and K5662 (GI50 0.91 μg/mL). Relevant constituents in dichloromethane extract are the alkaloids corydine and salutaridine, as well as the diterpenes geranylgeraniol and crotonin-derived clerodanes

A morte é “pop ”: análise de perfis sobre fim de vida e cuidados paliativos no Instagram

This article aim to analyze the profiles about the end of life and palliative care on Instagram. For this, a qualitative research was undertaken, linked to the Cultural Studies. Through the notion of discourse proposed by Michel Foucault, publications from 207 public profiles were analyzed. It was identified that they were administered mostly by women who share experiences in relation to illness, finitude and grief. It was also verified representativeness of profiles linked to social and university or professionals projects, notably linked to the psi knowledge. It was verified that the circulating discourses in the profiles corroborate the constitution of a norm about what is considered a good death and an adequate mourning. Palliative Care emerges as a discipline that determines the narrated or guided practices and as a safety device, since they allow the configuration of a new management of dying, facilitated by social media, that make viable the attempt to make death a popular topic nowadays.O objetivo deste artigo é analisar perfis sobre fim de vida e cuidados paliativos no Instagram. Para tanto, empreendemos uma pesquisa qualitativa, no campo da Enfermagem, vinculada aos Estudos Culturais, em sua vertente Pós-Estruturalista. Analisamos, a partir da noção de discurso, publicações de 207 perfis públicos, das quais emergiram duas unidades de análise: Morte e cuidados paliativos - as mídias sociais como novo espaço pedagógico; e Luto, reflexões e sentimentos - a narrativa como estratégia de cuidado de si e dos outros. Os perfis eram administrados, em sua maioria, por mulheres que narram experiências em relação ao adoecimento, à finitude e ao luto. Observamos representatividade de perfis vinculados a projetos sociais e universitários ou a profissionais, notadamente atrelados aos saberes psi. Verificamos que os discursos circulantes nos perfis corroboram a constituição de uma norma sobre o que é uma boa morte e um luto adequado. No Instagram, os cuidados paliativos surgem como uma disciplina que determina as práticas orientadas, são um dispositivo de segurança, pois permitem a configuração de uma nova gestão do morrer, facilitada pelas mídias sociais, que viabilizam uma busca por tornar a morte um tema popular na atualidade

A importância da escolha dos excipientes na manipulação de medicamentos / The importance of the choice of excipients in drug manipulation

Para o desenvolvimento de uma formulação, estável, eficaz e segura é necessário considerar as características de todos os componentes utilizados na manipulação de um medicamento. A biodisponibilidade dos fármacos é influenciada por diversos fatores, como a solubilidade e permeabilidade, sendo necessário minimizar esta influência através da introdução de substâncias que os melhorem. O Sistema de Classificação Biofarmacêutica classificou os fármacos em quatro classes, a classe I com alta solubilidade e permeabilidade, classe II com baixa solubilidade e alta permeabilidade, classe III com alta solubilidade e baixa permeabilidade e classe IV com baixa solubilidade e permeabilidade. Sendo assim, os excipientes apresentam finalidade específica nas formulações, podendo atuar como diluentes, lubrificantes, aglutinantes, desintegrantes, entre outros, na forma farmacêutica. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo atentar para a importância da escolha correta dos excipientes na manipulação de medicamentos, pois eles podem ser incompatíveis com certos princípios ativos e com isso resultar em um medicamento ineficaz e sem segurança de uso A metodologia seguida foi levantamento bibliográfico sobre as diversas classes de excipientes, suas funções e compatibilidades. Para a coleta de informações foram utilizados artigos publicados em periódicos, contidos nas bases de dados Scientific Electronic Library Online- ScIELO, National Library of Medicine - PUBMED, bem como artigos técnicos de entidades como a Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária – ANVISA. Conclui-se, portanto, que a escolha correta dos excipientes na manipulação de medicamentos favorece a liberação e absorção de fármacos, sendo de extrema importância para um bom desempenho terapêutico
