    PENERAPAN BLENDED LEARNING MEMANFAATKAN E-LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA KELAS X 1 SMA N 1 KARANGGEDE TAHUN AJARAN 2014/2015

    This research was purposed to improve students critical thinking skill of X.1 SMA N 1 Karanggede in 2014/2015 academic years by implementing blended learning model. This research was a classroom action research that was held in two cycles by using Kemmis-Taggart and collaborative model. Each cycle was began with planing stage, then implementation stage which consist action and observation stage that was held in the same time with action stage, ended by reflection stage. The subject of this research was 31 students of X 1th SMA N 1 Karanggede in 2014/2015 academic year. Data were collected through documents review, questionnaries, observation and interview. The technique of data analysis could be qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The result showed that the learning activities pre-cycle, the percentage of students who have good critical thinking skills is 19.4%, then increased to 54,8% in the end of first cycle of implementation of learning activities. This achievement has not met the percentage target of 75% of students have good critical thinking skills, so that was necessary to held second cycle. On the end of second cycle, the percentage of students who have good critical thinking skills is 77.4%, or have met the target of research. Based on the data and the discussion in this study it could be concluded that with the implementation of blended learning models, could improve critical thinking skills of class X 1students of SMAN 1 Boyolali Karanggede school year 2014/2015.     Madrasah Tsanawiyah School, Gedung Johor, there are still many students who behave and have attitudes that are far from the values of Islamic teachings, such as not dressed neatly, not greeting teachers and friends, making fun of each other, not doing the tasks assigned by the teacher. and various other less praiseworthy attitudes found in the student. In an effort to improve student attitudes and behavior, the role of akidah akhlak teachers is very important in instilling moral values in students through learning and cultivating attitudes that are in accordance with the morals taught in Islam. The problem in this study is how the role of akidah akhlak teachers in instilling the attitudes and behavior of class VII students at MTs Gedung Johor. What are the attitudes and behavior of grade VII students at MTs Gedung Johor. What are the obstacles for the akidah akhlak teacher in instilling the attitudes and behavior of seventh grade students at MTs Gedung Johor. This research is qualitative in nature by collecting data through interviews with informants and descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the role of the akidah akhlak teacher in instilling the attitudes and behavior of seventh grade students at MTs Gedung Johor shows a good role in accordance with their role as educators and teachers who have teacher competence, teach in accordance with the provisions set by the school and become role models for students. . Attitudes and behavior of class VII students at MTs Gedung Johor through the role of akidah akhlak teachers have good attitudes and behaviors which are marked by student compliance with rules and regulations, awareness of students in carrying out learning tasks and establishing good relationships with teachers and fellow students. There are still students who need time to understand lessons because there is no background in religious education, as well as lack of supervision from parents of students at home.

Seperti kasus kekerasan seksual pada anak yang menjadi korban pedofilia, kasus pemerkosaan, kasus pemerkosaan dan pembunuhan. Hal ini membuat Indonesia darurat kejahatan seksual terhadap anak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah yuridis normatif. Adapun spesifikasi penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan menggambarkan masalah yang ada (deskriptif-analitis), sedangkan metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dan dokumen yang akan dianalisis secara deskriptif- analitis yaitu studi pustaka dan dokumen. Indonesia sudah menjadi darurat seksual dengan adanya berbagai macam kasus kejahatan seksual terhadap anak. Untuk menanggulangi kasus kejahatan seksual terhadap anak pemerintah membuat suatu aturan terbaru dengan adanya pidana tambahan yang berupa kebiri.     Continuation or termination of metformin in diabetic patients exposed to iodinated contrast medium?

    Lactic acidosis (LA) secondary to metformin administration is a rare incident with a very highmortality rate (≥50%). Hypoxia has been suggested to contribute to metformin-associatedlactic acidosis (MALA) in 90% of patients developing this condition. In susceptible patientssuch as those with renal insufficiency, the level of plasma metformin is increased particularlyafter exposure to iodinated contrast media (ICM). One major concern in patients with renalinsufficiency is to adjust the metformin dose based on the renal functional capacity prior to ICMexamination. In this review, we assessed metformin tolerable threshold in diabetic patients withrenal failure. We also reviewed metformin withdrawal criteria in patients with chronic kidneydisease (CKD) exposed to intravenous ICM during angiography. Our results indicated that inpatients with insufficient renal function (i.e. 30< estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR) <60and 30<eGFR<45 mL/min/1.73 m2), or those with acceptable renal function (eGFR ≥60 mL/min/1.73 m2) and concomitant comorbidities, the decision to withhold or reinitiate metforminshould be based on patient’s medical condition.     The Effect of Background Baroque Music on Work Accomplishment and Student Concentration on Days of Rapid Weather Changes.

    This study used Baroque background music to mitigate the effects of weather variables on 12 students of a Montessori elementary classroom. The weather forecast data were gathered from the National Weather Service. Two student feedback forms gauged attitudes towards the music and academic activities, focus, and accomplished work. A teacher tally chart marked daily observations of behavior. The study utilized Microsoft Excel with methods of descriptive data analyses, t-tests, and regression analysis. Student appreciation of music varied, but the children’s affinity for music remained high. It is unclear whether the music created a positive mindset. The Baroque background music contributed to higher work accomplishments on days of greater barometric pressure, sky cover changes, and lower changes in precipitation potential. The results of background music on concentration are inconclusive, however, over time, student focus increased with the intervention. A longer duration of study may confirm the findings presented here

    THE EFFECT OF LOCAL BRAND CONCIOUSNESS AND NEED FOR UNIQUENESS TOWARDS EMOTIONAL VALUE AND BUYING INTENTION ON LOCAL BRANDS

    This study aims to build a theoretical model of the influence of local brand consciousness and need for uniqueness on emotional value and willingness to buy local brands. This study develops the concept of local brand consciousness in the fashion product category that is rooted in the concept of consumer ethnocentrism. This study measures the perceptions of educated young consumers. Samples are students as the next generation who are expected to provide an overview of their preferences between local brands or global/foreign brands. This study shows that educated young consumers are local brand conscious that influence their perceptions regarding the emotional value of local brands and inspire their desire to buy local brands. However, need for uniqueness makes them negatively view local brand emotional value and affect their desire to buy a local brand. This shows that when they have a strong desire to be different, they view local brands as not providing positive emotional value. The results of this study provide an important recommendation, namely that local brand owners must increase the emotional value of their brands by understanding the needs of young consumers to appear unique and participate in increasing local brand awareness among domestic consumers especially young consumers

    Gluten-Free Cookies Formulation Using Local Composite Flour of Gadung, Brown Rice, and Moringa Leaves

    Fibre-rich snacks can be made from local ingredients that are abundant and gluten-free, such as gadung and moringa leaves. This study aims to determine the correct formulation in the production of cookies using a combination of local composite flour from gadung tubers, brown rice and moringa leaves. The parameters observed include organoleptic test, fibre content and physical properties of the cookies. This research was carried out using an experimental method with a fully randomised design with 4 treatments and 3 replicates. The composites used consisted of umbi gadung flour, brown rice flour and moringa leaf flour with the formulation 60 g: 30 g: 10 g (P1), 50 g: 20 g: 30 g (P2), 40 g: 40 g: 20 g (P3) and (3 g: 25 g: 40 g (P4). Based on the results of the data analysis using the SPPS programme, it is known that the composite formulation has a significant effect on the organoleptic and physico-chemical parameters of the cookies. The more moringa leaves are added, the lower the panelists' liking, the darker the colour of the biscuits and the more brittle the texture. In conclusion, P1 is the best composite formulation based on panelist preference with yellowish-brown cookie colour, low breakage and crude fibre content of 3.51%
