    Direction of the vehicle stability is influenced by many things, both in terms of design and the operator of the vehicle itself. The emphasis is one of the influential, it is obvious when the vehicle turns, at which time the position of the focus will turn to change the result of the centrifugal force occurs. Position and magnitude of the centrifugal force that occurs will affect the vehicle slip angle, which will affect the performance of the vehicle.     The identification of the problem revealed that one of the factors that influence the speed of the half-moon kick unsatisfactory not related to the leg muscle strength. The aim of this study to assess the contribution of the leg muscle strength at the speed of the crescent kick martial arts extracurricular student SMAN 2 Mining District Kampar.Jenis determine this research is correlational with a population of male students extracurricular Pencak Silat 2 Mine SMA Kampar regency of 20 people. This sampling technique is total sampling, thus reducing the number of samples in this study were 20 persons.From the analysis of the data is one of the data does not show a normal distribution, so that the correlation formula used is Lansiers correlation. From the calculation, it is known that there is a significant correlation between the variables x and y variables. based on the results of this study concluded that there is a significant correlation between the legs with a leg muscle rate half staircase, where the level of α = 00:05 obtained t = 2.97> t table = 2.10 The so Ho rejected and Ha accepted.     This study aimed to determine the contribution is (1) the principal managerial skills to the performance of elementary school teachers in District VIII Sukasada Force (2) organizational culture on the performance of elementary school teachers (3) achievement motivation on the performance of elementary school teachers, and (4) jointly between Managerial ability Principal, Organizational Culture and Achievement Motivation teacher on the performance of elementary school teachers in Cluster VIII Sukasada District. The study population was a primary school teacher in Cluster VIII Sukasada totaling 40 people. 36 people were taken as the study sample. This study uses ex-post facto design. The study involved three independent variables, namely: Managerial Ability Principal, Organizational Culture, Teachers Achievement Motivation and one dependent variable, the Teacher Performance. Data were collected by questionnaires. Data were analyzed by using the technique multiple regression and partial correlation. The results showed that (1) the principal managerial skills to contribute to the performance of elementary school teachers in Cluster VIII District Sukasada with a contribution of 51.9% and the effective contribution of 24.19%, (2) organizational culture contribute to the performance of elementary school teachers with a contribution of 66.6% and the effective contribution of 37.7%, (3) achievement motivation of teachers contributing to the performance of elementary school teachers with a contribution of 61.30% and the effective contribution of 22.01% , and (4) jointly between Managerial ability Principal, Organizational Culture and Achievement Motivation teacher contribute to the performance of elementary school teachers in Cluster VIII District Sukasada with a contribution of 83.9%

    This school based action research was conducted in two cycles which involved 21 teachers of social subject at grade IV, V, VI in Gugus IV Sukasada district as the population. The subject of the study were the 21 teachers which selected by using census study technique. The data collected by distributing questionnaires. The data was analyzed descriptively. The results of the study showed that: (1) the ability level of the Social Subject teachers in managing the instructional process at grade IV, V, VI of elementary school in Gugus IV Sukasada district after the implementation of clinical supervision in the first cycle was categorized as “fair“; (2) the ability level of the Social Subject teachers in managing the instructional process at grade IV, V, VI of elementary school in Gugus IV Sukasada district after the implementation of clinical supervision in the second cycle was categorized “good”; and (3) there was improvement of teacher\u27s ability in managing the social studies learning process after the implementation of clinical supervision in the first cycle and second cycle

    This study aimed at finding out and analyzing: 1) the effect of portfolio assessment implementation towards the students' ability in writing; 2) the effect of interaction between portfolio assessments with verbal aptitude toward the students' ability in writing; 3) the difference of writing ability among students with high verbal aptitude and students with lower verbal aptitude; 4) the effect of portfolio assessment implementation towards students' ability in writing; and 5) the effect of portfolio assessment implementation towards students with high verbal aptitude and students with low verbal aptitude at SMP Negeri 2 Ubud. This study belongs to an experimental research with the post-test only control group design. The populations were the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Ubud in the second semester in the school year 2012/2013, consisted of eight classes. Only two classes that used in this study as the sample that were VIII G and VIII H classes. Class VIII G as the control group, and Class VIII H as the experimental group. Determination of samples appointed stratified random sampling. The data were collected by conducted writing ability test and verbal aptitude test. The data were analyzed by two-ways analysis of variance, which was followed by Tukey test to determine which group was better than others. The result showed that; (1) the writing ability of the students who learned through the portfolio assessment teaching model was better than the students who learned through the conventional assessment (FAobserved=10,046 :< α = 0, 05); (2) there was an interaction effect of the type of assessment and verbal aptitude upon writing ability in the students of SMP Negeri 2 Ubud, (FAB= 58.479:< (α = 0,05); (3) The students with higher verbal aptitude, the writing who learned through conventional assessment teaching model was higher than, who learned through portfolio assessment, (Q-observed= 10.528< (α = 0,05); (4) In the students with a low verbal aptitude, the means score in the writing ability of those who learned through a conventional assessment-based teaching model was higher than that of those who learned through a portfolio assessment-based teaching model ( A22=71.222> A12=62.000). Therefore, it is advice for the student's to apply portfolio assessment by considering the student's verbal aptitude

    Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Konseling yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan intrapersonal siswa yang rendah dengan penerapan konseling Behavioral dengan teknik perkuatan positif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 6 orang siswa kelas X3 SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 yang memiliki kecerdasan intrapersonal yang rendah. Hasil tersebut diperoleh dari data primer atau data utama yaitu kuesioner dari pra siklus sampai siklus II. Metode observasi atau pengamatan juga digunakan sebagai metode komplementer yang mendukung data primer tersebut. Data primer dalam bentuk kuesioner yang diperoleh dari responden dikumpulkan dan diolah dengan teknik deskriptif analisis. Hasil penelitian dari pra siklus diperoleh rata-rata pencapaian kecerdasan intrapersonal terhadap 6 orang siswa sebesar 61,33 % dengan kategori rendah. Pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan dengan rata-rata sebesar 5,17% dengan hasil 2 orang siswa yang dikategorikan sedang dan 4 orang siswa yang dikategorikan rendah sehingga perlu melanjutkan treatmen pada siklus II. Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan dengan rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 16,16% dengan kategori tinggi. Artinya siswa sudah bisa memahami segala hal yang terkait dengan kecerdasan intrapersonal. Data tersebut diperkuat dari hasil pengamatan Perubahan perilaku siswa yang diisi oleh peneliti pada setiap siklusnya. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan siswa dapat mengaplikasikan kecerdasan intrapersonal dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, agar siswa dapat memahami diri secara akurat

    Thawing Versus. Tracker Behaviour: Observational Evidence

    Currently there is a variety of scalar field models to explain the late time acceleration of the Universe. This includes the standard canonical and non-canonical scalar field models together with recently proposed Galileon scalar field models. One can divide all these scalar field models into two broad categories, namely the thawing and the tracker class. In this work we investigate the evidence for these models with the presently available observational data using the Bayesian approach. We use the Generalized Chaplygin Gas (GCG) parametrization for dark energy equation of state (EoS) as it gives rise to both the thawing and tracking behaviours for different values of the parameters. Analysis of the observational data does not give any clear evidence for either thawing or tracking behaviour within the context of background cosmology, However, if we consider the evolution of inhomogenities and analyze the data in this context then there is a significant evidence in favour of thawing behaviour.Comment: 6 Pages, three eps figures, new material added, new references added.
