Study of Bulk Arrival with Working Vacation

    Get PDF
Here arrivals of the customer follow poisson distribution and there is single server who is providing service to the customer. Also server serve the customer on first come first serve basis. The vacation queues have been extended to computer networks, communications systems, as well as production management, inventory management and other fields (Doshi B.T., 1990). For the classical single-server vacation model, a server stops working completely during the vacation periods. However, the server can be generalized to work at a different rate during the vacation periods. This type of queueing models are useful to analyze a variety of multi-queue systems that frequently arise in computer and communication networks. Different parameter is used for finding expected busy period and queueing length

It is an established fact that a strong psychological rapport between parents and teachers always bring out the best of output from the learners. Solid home cares- teachers’ psychology helps in exploring every particular qualitative talent in a sole particular student and subsequently he or she is able to perform up to the best of the abilities present. The parents must always be part of the school’s academic planning. Teachers if on a periodical basis message about the students to their parents will help the parents at home to find out the possible solutions to the problems which their wards are facing in any particular subject or any other psychological stigmas staring to jeopardize their performance. It is the duty of parents and teachers that they should create an environment so children can feel confident and secure. Building confidence in children is not an easy task. In this study we focus on the investigation additionally centers around parental tendency towards the appealing, friendly or skilled kid which makes desire conduct in youngsters. As per Jersild aggressive frame of mind of guardians for example contrasting the tyke's exhibition and another, is in charge of creating greedy frame of mind in youngsters

Ayurvedic management of Dusta Vrana w.s.r. Decubitus Ulcer : A Case Study

The wound heals by natural process but if the wound gets infected it delays the healing, converts it into Dusta Vrana (chronic ulcer). Bed sore or pressure sore are commonly seen in Non ambulatory patients like Paraplegia (Pakshagatha), Quadriplegia. Most common sites are Sacrococcygeal, Shoulder, Occipital regions due to continuous Pressure, immobilization and Malnutrition. Wound healing will be delayed and turns in to Dustavrana (chronic wound); If decubitus ulcer is not treated it may lead to Sepsis and even Osteomylitis which may end in fatal complication. In such condition Vrana Shodana (Purification) and Vranaropana (Healing) Chikitsa is better choice of treatment. In present study a case of non healing decubitus ulcer with sinus at Right hip joint was treated with mixture of Kapardika Bhasma, Yashada Bhasma along with Jathyadi Gritha plugging into the sinus showed effective in treating pressure sores as it possess the properties of Vrana Shodhana and Ropana. Hence this treatment is effective in the management of decubitus ulcer

Evaluation of Association Between High Frenal Attachment and Severity of Midline Diastema

    Get PDF
Introduction: A "midline diastema" arises when there is a space of more than 0.5 millimeters between the proximal surfaces of two consecutive teeth. There is usually open space between the two central incisors. Depending on its width, a midline diastema can make speaking difficult and look unsightly.  Genetic factors, large tongues, improper tongue positioning during rest or function, microdontia or hypodontia of upper lateral incisors, extra teeth between upper central incisors, particularly mesiodens, aberrant frenal attachment, periodontal disease, and extra teeth are some of the multifactorial causes of midline diastema. The aim of this study is to assess the association between high frenal attachment and the severity of midline diastema. Materials and method: The study involved 126 patients. We assessed the frequency of high frenal attachment and midline diastema in these patients. The Chi square test was used to examine the data in the SPSS Software. Results and discussion: The current study has arrived at a positive correlation between the frenal attachment type and the severity of the midline diastema space. Midline diastema might be transitory or result from pathogenic, developmental, or iatrogenic reasons. Treatment options for diastema vary, and each one calls for an accurate etiology diagnosis and prompt action appropriate to that etiology. A correct diagnosis needs radiographic and clinical examination, medical and dental history, and perhaps tooth size assessment. Conclusion: Within the limitations of the study, it can be concluded that there is a positive correlation between the frenal attachment type and the severity of midline diastema space. It was also observed that the most common frenal attachment type was papillary type and the space more commonly was 2-3 mm in length

Correlation Between the Sagittal Skeletal Relationship and Lower Anterior Facial Height - A Retrospective Study

This investigation aimed to study and evaluate the correlation between the Sagittal Skeletal Relationship and the Lower Anterior Facial Height. A single-center data collection was done. 490 Lateral Cepahalograms were collected and traced. Only adult patients with average were considered for the study. 31 cephalograms were included. Beta angle measurement was used to divide the cephalograms into 3 groups. The lower anterior facial height measurement was made for each cephalogram. The Data was tabulated into an MS Excel spreadsheet. One Way ANOVA analysis was performed to study the correlation between the groups. The average Lower anterior facial height for all the groups 68.47 ± 11.3 mm. The significance derived from the ANOVA test is 0.762. No statistically significant correlation between the Sagittal Skeletal Relationship and Lower Anterior Facial Height in the south Indian populatio

    OZONE-A REVIEW

Ozone (O3) gas discovered in the mid-nineteenth century is a molecule consisting of three atoms of oxygen in a dynamically unstable structure due to the presence of mesomeric states. Ozone therapy has been utilized and heavily studied for more than a century. Its effects are proven, consistent, safe and with minimal and preventable side effects. Medical O3 is used to disinfect and treat disease. Mechanism of actions is by inactivation of bacteria, viruses, fungi, yeast and protozoa, stimulation of oxygen metabolism, activation of the immune system. Medication forms in a gaseous state are somewhat unusual, and it is for this reason that special application techniques have had to be developed for the safe use of O3. In local applications as in the treatment of external wounds, its application in the form of a transcutaneous O3 gas bath has established itself as being the most practical and useful method, for example at low (sub-atmospheric) pressure in a closed system guaranteeing no escape of O3 into the surrounding air. Ozonized water, whose use is particularly known in dental medicine, is optimally applied as a spray or compress. Diseases treated are infected wounds, circulatory disorders, geriatric conditions, macular degeneration, viral diseases, rheumatism/arthritis, cancer, SARS and AIDS. KEYWORDS: Allodynia; Autohemotherapy; Lipid ozonation products; Ozone

TISSUE ENGINEERING IN REGENERATIVE ENDODONTICS -A REVIEW

    Get PDF
Tissue engineering is mainly used to replace the impaired or damaged tissues with new tissues. The key cells involved for tissue engineering are stem cells, the morphogens or growth factors. They will rapidly multiply and differentiates and forms tissues. This new technique is now most commonly used in endodontics. The aim of this study was to review about the dental pulp stem cells, which are most common growth factors, and the scaffolds used to control their differentiation. To study the clinical technique for the management of immature non-vital teeth based on this novel concept.KEYWORDS: Dental pulp stem cells; Morphogens; Scaffolds; Regenerative endodontics; Pulp revascularization

Creating procedures to safely store information crosswise over cloud is a quite interesting research topic of late. Distributed computing concentrates on amplifying the viability of the common assets and is advantageousfor putting away / recovery of enormous measure of information. Personal Health Records (PHRs) areconsidered to remain the long lasting property of patients and have to be displayable helpfully and safely to choose guardians. My PHR Machine is a patient driven framework that takes a new structural approach for PHR interoperability. Patients can upload their medical information and share through remote Virtual machine. We have made a study on methods to secure PHRs and discover open model of My PHR Machines for the utilization instance of a certifiable patient situation
