    Get PDF
Research reveals over and over that the successful development and use of eLearning systems in higher education institutions (HEIs) are squarely anchored on the roles of users in the development and use phases of an eLearning project. At the development level, researchers suggest that all decisions and implementation must be user-centric by constantly scanning the diversity of ever-changing user-needs. While use level requires effective user-training and then sustained technical support that is available 24/7. However, user training is central issue for the project and organizational (university) management in terms of its contents, processes and followup. This paper aims at unfolding the nature and implications of user-training in the background of eLearning practices in HEIs particularly, in developing countries like Pakistan. Extensive literature have been surveyed to bring together diverse ideas, findings and comments of researchers about the nature, problems and solutions of user-training in the background of higher education thereby reducing it into a theoretical model of user-training

The objective of this study was to develop a customized virtual learning platform specifically designed for distance education with the goal of improving the pedagogical abilities of science instructors at Hail University. The research used a descriptive analytical method, including expert assessments of the requirements for remote education and the necessary teaching abilities. A survey was conducted among 120 science teachers in Hail, and it was found that there is a significant need and value for training in several aspects of innovative teaching. The results emphasized substantial requirements in five crucial domains: innovative instruction as well as competencies associated with fluency, adaptability, and ingenuity. The virtual learning environment created for Hail Science instructors had a comprehensive evaluation by training program professionals using a unique assessment method. COVID-19 viral disease appeared in China in December 2019 and then spread around the world, affecting millions and causing the death of thousands of people. Its danger in simple and easy infection transmission methods. Some believe that it has moved from the bat to the human and its symptoms are high temperature, dry cough and difficulty breathing, and symptoms vary from person to person, as they may not appear on some and be severe in others.  Laboratory, in COVID-19 the rate of D-dimer increase so we recommended using of Enoxaparin sodium to raise the level of liquidity in the blood, thereby reducing the chance of thrombosis and reducing the value of D-dimer. In COVID-19 also we find the PO2 decrease in arterial blood gas analysis, increase liver enzyme levels, increase ferritin value and decrease the No of lymphocyte. Low percentage of lymphocytes is one of the predictions for infection with COVID-19 virus. Lymphocytes originate from the bone marrow and include B cells, T cells, and natural killer cells. COVID-19 binds to lymphocyte receptors and destroys them. In this case, we recommend using immunoglobulin to maintain these cells as an adjuvant therapy in COVID-19

    eLearning Opportunities

    Get PDF
Both opportunities and prospects are sometimes used interchangeably however, in this paper, opportunity refers to the 2018;availability of eLearning resources and service2019; while prospects denote 2018;futuristic expectations about the role of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in higher education institutions (HEIs). The empirical findings suggest that people score lower on opportunities but significantly high on the prospects showing that they are not quite happy with the facilities and services available (due to the development, implementation and use problems 2013; or simply management problems of eLearning). But they can clearly foresee the significant role of ICTs or education technologies (ETs) in future in the context of developing countries like Pakistan. Furthermore, these differences are attributed to the demographic diversities of the respondents, meaning that the demographic variation changes the power and direction of the user-attitudes towards eLearning. This paper uses stepwise regression to gradually glean-out the most significant predictors of opportunities and prospects from a group (eight) of demographics

It is my great honor to become Editorial Board Member of Universal Journal of Pharmaceutical Research (UJPR). It is also a great pleasure for me to be invited at speaking again for a period of time in addition to my previous publications. The UJPR has grown up for four years. From aim and scope of UJPR, it has been covering a broad of multidisciplinary areas in pharmaceutical science including basic fields, molecular images, clinical trials and other medical practice, to increase the impact factor of journal. A considerable fact provides strong validation that authors might prepare high quality of their intensive original researches, the subject of pharmaceutical molecular mechanism of drugs, and the systemic exploration of medicinal herbs among folk medicines The journal is publishing and reviewing papers that future research needs to fill in order to move toward implementation. It is my hope that the fields our journal covers will begin to critically think about and prioritize the field’s research needs to guide the development of a robust future research agenda. Some submitted papers develop new methodologies to calculate reimbursement for medical services to realize the benefits of medical research in future present medical system. Universal Journal of Pharmaceutical Research (UJPR) provides an important forum to address critical issues in the field, exchange new ideas and disseminate the latest developments in basic research, clinical translation, industrial development and regulatory issues. The editorial team will work hard to enhance the quality of papers, reduce the turnaround time for manuscripts, increase the publication frequency, provide fair and meaningful reviews and smoothen the editorial management process. We wish to take the journal in a direction where it encompasses all the emerging areas, reflecting the practice-oriented approach, which is an essential link between academic research and professional practice. Our main objective will be to strengthen the boundaries of the journal, to strengthen the reviewer database, and to motivate potential authors to contribute to the journal
