A Class of Integral Operators Induced by Harmonic Bergman-Besov Kernels on Lebesgue Classes

Get PDF
We provide a full characterization in terms of the six parameters involved the boundedness of all standard weighted integral operators induced by harmonic Bergman-Besov kernels acting between different Lebesgue classes with standard weights on the unit ball of R-n. These operators in some sense generalize the harmonic Bergman-Besov projections. To obtain the necessity conditions, we use a technique that heavily depends on the precise inclusion relations between harmonic Bergman-Besov and weighted Bloch spaces on the unit ball. This fruitful technique is new. It has been used first with holomorphic Bergman-Besov kernels by Kaptanoglu and Ureyen. Methods of the sufficiency proofs we employ are Schur tests or Holder or Minkowski type inequalities which also make use of estimates of Forelli-Rudin type integrals

Positive Toeplitz operators from a harmonic Bergman-Besov space into another

Get PDF
We define positive Toeplitz operators between harmonic Bergman-Besov spaces b(alpha)(p) on the unit ball of R-n for the full ranges of parameters 0 < p < infinity, alpha is an element of R. We give characterizations of bounded and compact Toeplitz operators taking one harmonic Bergman-Besov space into another in terms of Carleson and vanishing Carleson measures. We also give characterizations for a positive Toeplitz operator on b(alpha)(2) to be a Schatten class operator S-p in terms of averaging functions and Berezin transforms for 1 <= p < infinity, alpha is an element of R. Our results extend those known for harmonic weighted Bergman spaces

Series solution of epidemic model

Get PDF
The present paper is concerned with the approximate analytic series solution of the epidemic model. In place of the traditional numerical, perturbation or asymtotic methods, Laplace-Adomian decomposition method (LADM) is employed. To demonstrate the effort of the LADM an epidemic model, which has been worked on recently, has been solved. The results are compared with the results obtained by Adomian decomposition method and homotopy perturbation method. Furthermore the results are compared with Fouth Order Runge Method and residual error. After examining the results, we see that LADM is a powerful method for obtaining aproximate solutions to epidemic model.Publisher's Versio

This study aims to compile the suggestions in the postgraduate theses prepared with the theme of quot%253Bscientific research (SR) in Turkey between 2000-2022 years. In the study, 4 sub-themes were chosen for the scientific research theme%253B quot%253Bscientific research methods (SRM), quot%253Bscientific research processes (SRP)quot%253B, quot%253Bscientific consistency (SC)quot%253B, and quot%253Bscientific self-efficacy, (SSE)quot%253B. The data were obtained from the suggestions sections of the studies conducted for the keywords obtained by so-called sub-themes at the Higher Education National Thesis Center (HENTC). The document analysis method was used in the research. A total of 40 theses including 27 master%252339%253Bs and 13 doctoral theses were compiled and reviewed in the study. Then the findings obtained by using the MAXQDA 18 package program were mapped as the percentage (%25) and frequency (F) values. In the research, theses written for 4 different groups were investigated%253B teachers, pre-service teachers, middle school students, and graduate students. Accordingly, the findings were arranged according to the groups and interpreted. Accordingly, in studies on teachers, it was obtained findings about the need for in-service training to be given to teachers to be more experienced in scientific research and to conduct research on a wider scale. Secondly, in studies conducted for pre-service teachers, it was determined that updates should be made to include more scientific research in the curricula for pre-service teachers. On the other hand in the studies conducted for secondary school students, it was concluded that experiments and laboratory activities would contribute to students%252339%253B learning of scientific processes. And finally, in the studies on graduate students, it was determined that there was a consensus that the hours and subjects of scientific research courses should be increased

Brand perception plays a decisive role in prospective students' choiceof educational organizations today. This study aims to assess the impact ofprospective students' perceptions of university brand on their preferences foruniversities. The study investigated the dimensions of brand perceptions ofthree private and three state universities and prospective students' reactions.Findings from the study indicate that the most significant dimension in theformation of university brand perception is the promises consisting of postgraduationexpectations, the learning environment and social environment. The findings also suggest that state universities have stronger brand perception than private universities and prospective students have morepositive reactions to state universities. In general, prospective students'perceptions of university brand are reflected in their preferences foruniversities
