Economic Theory, Economic Reality and Economic Policy
This paper analyzes the opposition between the «liberals» and «statists» in the Russian political and economic thought. It demonstrates that the economic liberalization is an absolute prerequisite for the transition to sustainable socio-economic development. Such development must rely on investment activities of the state, which in the current circumstances is a necessary but not sufficient measure for reversing the negative trends. The negative developments can be prevented only through implementation, along with the institutional changes in the economic area that form a strata of economically independent entrepreneurs-innovators, of no less profound transformation in political institutions aimed at democratization of public life
Superfield theories on and their localization
We consider the superfield formulation of supersymmetric gauge and matter
field theories on a three-dimensional sphere with rigid
supersymmetry, as well as with . The construction is based on a
supercoset containing as the bosonic subspace. We derive
an explicit form of supervielbein and covariant derivatives, and
use them to construct classical superfield actions for gauge and matter
supermultiplets in this superbackground. We then apply superfield methods for
computing one-loop partition functions of these theories and demonstrate how
the localization technique works directly in the superspace.Comment: 1+64 pages; v2: Section 4.2 and a reference are adde
Superconformal structures on the three-sphere
With the motivation to develop superconformal field theory on S^3, we
introduce a 2n-extended supersphere S^{3|4n}, with n=1,2,..., as a homogeneous
space of the three-dimensional Euclidean superconformal group OSp(2n|2,2) such
that its bosonic body is S^3. Supertwistor and bi-supertwistor realizations of
S^{3|4n} are derived. We study in detail the n=1 case, which is unique in the
sense that the R-symmetry subgroup SO^*(2n) of the superconformal group is
compact only for n=1. In particular, we show that the OSp(2|2,2)
transformations preserve the chiral subspace of S^{3|4}. Several supercoset
realizations of S^{3|4n} are presented. Harmonic/projective extensions of the
supersphere by auxiliary bosonic fibre directions are sketched.Comment: 44 pages; V2: references added, typos corrected; V3: comments in

Higher Spins and Open Strings: Quartic Interactions
We analyze quartic gauge-invariant interactions of massless higher spin
fields by using vertex operators constructed in our previous works and
computing their four-point amplitudes in superstring theory. The kinematic part
of the quartic interactions of the higher spins is determined by the matter
structure of their vertex operators;the non-locality of the interactions is the
consequence of specific ghost structure of these operators. We compute
explicitly the four-point amplitude describing the complete gauge-invariant
quartic interaction (two massless spin 3 particles interacting with
two photons) and comment on more general cases, particularly pointing
out the structure of coupling.Comment: 26 pages, misprints corrected, discussion added in the concluding

Innovations
Under the word “innovation” people usually imply nanotech, robots, space technology, etc. Mostly they tend to think about good side of each thing. But as a rule a range of innovations comprise some disadvantages. As Isaac Newton said, for every action there is an opposite action. Most of us don’t take into account both sides of any new device positive and negative. One of the most common problems concerned with innovations is environmental pollution.

Correlation Functions of Sp(2n) Invariant Higher-Spin Systems
We study the general structure of correlation functions in an
Sp(2n)-invariant formulation of systems of an infinite number of higher-spin
fields. For n=4,8 and 16 these systems comprise the conformal higher-spin
fields in space-time dimensions D=4,6 and 10, respectively, while when n=2, one
deals with conventional D=3 conformal field theories of scalars and spinors. We
show that for n>2 the Sp(2n) symmetry and current conservation makes the
3-point correlators of two (rank-one or rank-two) conserved currents with a
scalar operator be that of free theory. This situation is analogous to the one
in conventional conformal field theories, where conservation of higher-spin
currents implies that the theories are free.Comment: 26 pages, some clarifications added, published versio

Higher-Spin Triplet Fields and String Theory
We review basic properties of reducible higher-spin multiplets, called triplets, and demonstrate how they naturally appear as part of the spectrum of String Field Theory in the tensionless limit. We show how in the frame-like formulation the triplet fields are endowed with the geometrical meaning of being components of higher-spin vielbeins and connections and present actions describing their free dynamics
