Die Einflussnahme des Kremls in Ungarn: zu den Verstrickungen der ungarischen Eliten mit russischen Interessen

Ungarn ist unter der Führung von Premierminister Viktor Orbán von der Fidesz-Partei zu einem der kontroversesten Mitgliedstaaten der EU geworden. Zu den Bedenken seiner europäischen Partner hat die pro-russische Haltung der politischen Schlüsselfiguren des Landes entscheidend beigetragen. Diese sukzessive Hinwendung gen Russland geht bis auf den November 2010 zurück, als Orbán die erste Reise seiner zweiten Amtszeit nach Moskau machte. Seit der Ukrainekrise, während der die westliche Allianz sie besonders argwöhnisch begutachtete, hat diese Verbindung noch an Konfliktpotenzial hinzugewonnen. Investigative Journalisten und Think-Tanks haben unterschiedliche Aspekte des russischen politischen Einflusses, besonders die ideologischen Gemeinsamkeiten Moskaus und der ungarischen extremen Rechten, ausgiebig analysiert. Diese Studie überprüft bisher übersehene Dimensionen der russischen Einflussnahme in der ungarischen Politik und kommt zu dem Schluss, dass die ungarische politische und Wirtschaftselite die prorussische Haltung anführt. Hierbei mangelt es den Eliten fundamental an öffentlicher Unterstützung: Russische Maßnahmen in Form von Propaganda und "medialer Kriegsführung" zur Beeinflussung der öffentlichen Meinung haben in Ungarn eher geringen Erfolg; bei der Implementierung russischer Interessen im Land stehen die etablierten nationalen Akteure wie Fidesz und die rechtsextreme Jobbik-Partei im Zentrum

Adatbányászati alkalmazások lehetőségei egy multinacionális vállalat magyarországi leányvállalatának információs rendszerében (Opportunities of datamining applications in the information system of a multinational company’s Hungarian subsidiary)

A tanulmány Magyarország egyik legnagyobb foglalkoztatójának megrendelésére készült abból a célból, hogy milyen megoldásokkal lehetne a vállalati működést hatékonyabbá tenni. Ennek keretében a szerzők megvizsgálták, hol tart ma a HR adatbányászati kutatás a világban. Milyen eszközök állnak rendelkezésre ahhoz, hogy a munkavállalói elmenetelt előre jelezzék, illetve figyeljék, valamint milyen lehetőség van a hálózati kutatások felhasználására a biztonság területén. Szerencsés, hogy a vállalkozói kérdések és erőforrások találkozhattak a kutatói szféra aktuális kutatási területeivel. A tanulmány szerzői úgy gondolják, hogy a cikkben megfogalmazott állítások, következtetések, eredmények a jövőben hasznosíthatók lesznek a vállalat és más cégek számára is. _____ The authors were pleased to take part in this research project initiated by one of Hungary’s largest employer. The goal of the project was to work out BI solutions to improve upon their business process. In the framework of the project first the authors made a survey on the current trends in the world of HR datamining. They reviewed the available tools for the prediction of employee promotion and investigated the question on how to utilize results achieved in social network analysis in the field of enterprise security. When real business problems and resources meet the mainstream research of the scientific community it is always a fortunate and it is rather fruitful. The authors are certain that the results published in this document will be beneficial for Foxconn in the near future. Of course, they are not done. There are continually new research perspectives opening up and huge amount of information is accumulating in the enterprises just waiting for getting discovered and analysed. Also the environment in which an enterprise operates is dynamically changing and thus the company faces new challenges and new type of business problems arise. The authors are in the hope that their research experience will help decision makers also in the future to solve real world business problems

Hazai vállalatok az értékláncban : Egy feldolgozóipari vállalat beszállítói kapcsolatainak elemzése

Jelen tanulmány új megközelítéssel vizsgálja egy külföldi tulajdonú feldolgozóipari vállalat 2015 és 2019 közötti beszerzéseit, a beszállítói hozzáadott érték és a függőségi viszonyok változását. Eredményeink alapján elmondható, hogy a hazai tulajdonú magyar beszállítók részaránya és hozzáadott értéke alacsony, ráadásul az összetettebb termékek szállítása is elérhetetlen számukra. E beszállítók jobban tudnak érvényesülni a szorosabb együttműködésen alapuló úgynevezett kooperációs beszerzésekben, amelyek során bekapcsolódhatnak a gyártási folyamatba, és így a tudástranszfer is nagyobb lehet. A túlzott beszállítói specializációból fakadó függőség és ciklikus termelés azonban könnyen a beszállítók lemorzsolódásához vezethet

Access Path to the Ligand Binding Pocket May Play a Role in Xenobiotics Selection by AhR.

Understanding of multidrug binding at the atomic level would facilitate drug design and strategies to modulate drug metabolism, including drug transport, oxidation, and conjugation. Therefore we explored the mechanism of promiscuous binding of small molecules by studying the ligand binding domain, the PAS-B domain of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR). Because of the low sequence identities of PAS domains to be used for homology modeling, structural features of the widely employed HIF-2alpha and a more recent suitable template, CLOCK were compared. These structures were used to build AhR PAS-B homology models. We performed molecular dynamics simulations to characterize dynamic properties of the PAS-B domain and the generated conformational ensembles were employed in in silico docking. In order to understand structural and ligand binding features we compared the stability and dynamics of the promiscuous AhR PAS-B to other PAS domains exhibiting specific interactions or no ligand binding function. Our exhaustive in silico binding studies, in which we dock a wide spectrum of ligand molecules to the conformational ensembles, suggest that ligand specificity and selection may be determined not only by the PAS-B domain itself, but also by other parts of AhR and its protein interacting partners. We propose that ligand binding pocket and access channels leading to the pocket play equally important roles in discrimination of endogenous molecules and xenobiotics
